This is my favorite place to stay in Eureka Springs. The Gravel Bar on site is always fun and the fire pit is the best kind of night cap. Some of the rooms have been renovated but some are the same old rooms that I remember staying in back in the day.

I wanted to love this place but if you support historic, quirky old properties, don’t chose this. PROS: pet friendly & convenient location. But so is the charming remodeled Best Western across the street, where parking is ample and staff is professional. CONS: amenities listed for room (desk, iron, housekeeping) don’t exist. Amenities you take for granted like comfortable, ample bedding, bath mat, housekeeping, outlets and places to hang clothes and wet towels, a parking space, documentation showing room charges & policies, desk staff to check in/out, locking windows/doors, a sink stopper, GFCI outlet in the bath/any outlet at all in the bath, exhaust fan in bath…all nonexistent. Also expect to be chided and charged more if you book through Expedia after trying to book directly showed no vacancy. The best thing about this place is their advertising and the youngest lady on staff. But all the attention went into campy claims, not actually providing a clean, comfortable and well-lit basic room with what travelers need: a decent mattress & pillows, sturdy lounge chair, outlets for everything in the room plus guest’s needs, a place for luggage so not on the musty carpet, a place for used towels, a place for toiletries in the bath, a place to park when you return after a long day—and even if plain all should be clean and in good repair. There are just too many better options at this price and location to risk your vacation time here.

The staff is phenomenal, the fire pit, restaurant & live band were just the right touches for our night away in Eureka. However, I noticed a few of the rooms are upgraded, while we were in a room still did it to the 70s and not in the best condition. (And for the same price?) The shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold, and would change on its own dime, without you touching the knobs. There was absolutely no water pressure and the worst part, was the AC kicking on and off sporadically. Leaving us sweating most of the night. This made for a rough nights rest. The bar and restaurant looked to be amazing, but after a $12 small drink, we opted for something else a little more affordable.. All in all, the staff, fire pit, and good times with friends made this a fun night, but unfortunately, we won’t stay here again 😔

Everything was spot on! Special shout out to the receptionist who was so very lovely and kind, we even added an additional night to our stay. Must stop by the Gravel Bar - just all around a super laid back and chill vibes

This is a cool little hotel that is like taking a step back in time. With that said, it does not have a lot of amenities you would expect for the price. It could definitely use some improvements or maybe the price should come down. Hard to justify how much I spent to stay there other than it was close to the Volkswagen show. It was super cute the the staff was super helpful. There is a bar and grill on site which was nice. We enjoyed swimming in the afternoon and sitting around the fire pit at night. Great location.

Overall; my stay was just fine. The room was pretty dark and only one out of the three lamps in the room worked. I think that you can get a nicer room in town; for the price they charge but I would still rent a room at this motel; based off of their location and the closeness to the areas of Eureka I like to explore.

A chemical odor permeates the room. This is not a cleaning product I have ever smelled. Dropped my luggage & upon my return two hours later the smell was just as strong. Clothing left in the room had the odor, Checked out with burning eyes!!!!!!! Property is very run down

Staff was great and super helpful. Rooms have minor upgrades. Though lighting options are a modern selection, they are small for the size of the room. Minimum blanketing and pillows are provided. In our room, there were only 2 little pillows per bed. Lighting outside is great, but it can still be a bit creepy going to room if you are in “the basement” area near the pool. Room was reminiscent of an old 70’s lake rental or remod prison cell. Parking is limited and one direction. Very tight.

Love the overall vibe of the Wanderoo. They staff is friendly, the rooms comfortable, the Gravel Bar has excellent food and live music. It's our favorite spot to stay in Eureka!

I was very disappointed arriving at the property. I called ahead to let the attendant know i was arriving after midnight. The key was exactly where the attendant told me. I had trouble finding my room which was located on the backside of the motel. When going to my room, there were several wildlife animals in the area. The bed was very uncomfortable and after a 6 hour drive it was a disappointment. I ended up across the street at the Best Western approximately 1:00 am where I was greeted with a smiling attendant who gave me a room for the same price as the disappointing Wanderoo. Oct. 3, 2022 I went back to the Wanderoo to let the attendant know I did not stay at his property and wanted a refun. I was not given a refund for that disappointing room that I did not stay in.

While it is an old motel, it is well maintained and very clean. Loved the balcony overlooking the pool even with it was closed for the season. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. 5 star stay.

The rooms were a big disappointment. Nothing like the pics on Expedia. The rooms had a weird smell, the carpet was stained and we were killing bugs. It just wasn't anything like we expected. We left try next morning because the guest above us partied until after 2:30am. We went to another hotel. The Gravel Bar was great.

Over priced old motel. Nasty carpet. Terrible tiny worn out pillows. Uncomfortable old mattresses. Low water pressure in bathroom. Flies. Refrigerator did not work. Deadbolts were hard to use and old. Paint chipping off bathroom wall. Lever in bathroom window missing. Smelly room. No vent fan in bathroom. AC needs replacing. Worn out rough thin towels. Good dog walking area. Only $20 pet fee. Friendly staff and locals. Beautiful lil town and scenery. Good restaurants in area. Fun lunch train ride. The Passion Play and Holy Land Tour were great! Good vacation destination. Just stay at a remodeled or newer property.

The room was ok but the the shower head coming out of the wall and the unpredictability of the water pressure wasn’t so great. Also the bed was alright but with two thin pillows for two people wasn’t so great. I would have asked for another room but this was a weekend in town where every hotel was sold out. The restaurant and bar is great and the service as well.
