It was a great stay. The entire property was very clean. They also provide very convenient instructions for late check in. The only minus would be that the restrooms were common. But they were very clean. I would not mind staying here again.

This was such an amazing and comfortable stay. Access to full laundry and kitchen, I had a room with my own bathroom which was amazing. My room came with a fan which I loved, and a full length mirror which I also love. 11/10

Everything is good except they don’t have air conditioning nor effective fans. Super location right in the middle of town. Nice historic look.

Owner easily reached by phone and responsive. Arrived a bit early and had to wait until posted check-in while units were cleaned but used time to eat and shop in Talkeetna. Heat was on at night while trying to sleep and was a little too warm for our comfort levels and sleep habits. Otherwise a satisfactory and affordable option for the area.

It is no frills but very clean and safe. A bit more of a hostel environment with a common kitchen and sitting area downstairs. The rooms are simple but clean and attractive. Shared bath.

This lodging was well located and super clean. It had off-street parking, a comfy bed and a well-stocked kitchen. It’s self serve (unstaffed), but someone promptly responded to questions via text.

We really loved our stay at the Hideaway! It's within walking distance to downtown talkeetna, the owner and those who work there are super friendly, accommodating and helpful, in the rooms and common areas are very clean and well appointed. We loved that they provide eye masks and earplugs in each bedroom, as well as a fan to provide air flow and white noise. The bedroom doors are pretty thin so you can hear others in the hallway but everybody was very respectful overall so it wasn't really an issue. There are blinds on the bedroom windows which helps, but curtains would definitely be more helpful for the light especially if you don't have an eye mask. The kitchen was very well appointed and very clean, we were able to cook every day as well as store our food in the fridge and make coffee each morning. There is laundry on site and it's easy to get quarters as they provide change if needed. There was somewhat of a cleaning/ chemical smell coming from the laundry room due to the things that are stored in there, but if you kept the laundry room door shut and windows open it wasn't an issue. We were very happy with our stay overall, and really enjoyed the community feel of the space. We would absolutely stay again!

Nice place in residential area of Talkeetna. A bit too far to conveniently walk into town but quiet, when the neighbors weren’t running their band saw.

Great place! Very clean with comfortable beds! At first I was a little hesitant about the shared baths but the house full and it was NO problem at all. We will be back!

This wa an aceptable place to stay. It was clean. We chose a room with a private bathroom and everything was clean and acceptable. It is basically self check in and self service. We appreciated the availability of coin operated laundry. Were awaken by loud late night arrivals that were not considerate of being quiet. Sound conditioning is poor. No breakfast available but you can bring your own. No food allowed in rooms. Kitchen and public areas are small so it is difficult to try to prepare breakfast while others are there also. Parking is convenient. Location is drivable but not walkable. Overall okay but high priced for what is offered as compared to other places we stayed in the general area.
