We arrived late in the evening and had a fast, easy check-in. Comfortable, clean room with a balcony and a lovely view. Very clean.

King room was very clean, but worn. Bathroom was a bit more updated. I had a pet friendly room. Loved the balcony. Bedding desperately needs to be replaced- blanket had a ton of bleach marks due to repeated staining. Front desk hosts were very nice. I'll be staying again, but I'm bringing my own blanket for the bed.

It was just OK. We traveled with my emotional support dog and were charged a fee. Our room had a door inside that was adjoining another room...there was a fairly large gap under the door and you could hear the other guest coughing...gross.

Clean, balconies with rocking chairs, and a magnificent view. We stayed during Fall and the pool was closed for the season. Great personality at the front desk

The property is up on quite a hill-- so we felt safe. No riff-raff would bother them up there. Being up on the hill, the view was very nice. It was a good, basic motel, nothing fancy. A decent bed, bathroom (although you might need to run the hot water a while for it to reach you), a TV, microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, and a place to rest.

Very difficult to access , very run down and not maintained . Breakfast extremely limited . Would not stay there again uncomfortable and high priced for 2 nights .

We stopped for one night after driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. Just needed a clean bed and a shower. The facility was well maintained and delivered beyond my expectations. Staff was friendly. (Hi Rebecca!) The icing on the cake and it's a fantastic icing is the sunrise view of the Smokey Mountains outside your balcony. It's a photographer's hot spot.

We booked a non smoking room and the room provided was very obviously reeking of old smoke. This was brought to the attention of the front desk attendant who told me that the room may smell of smoke if someone was smoking on the unit balcony. Nice. So much for non smoking. The smell was so intense I got no sleep and had to wash all of my clothes when I got home. This was disgusting. As for the room, I can’t say anything good about the dinghy lighting and chipped bathtub. The place is a dive and needs to be torched.

i pretty much liked eberything, except for the road noise. but fixed that by turning on the AC Everyone is super friendly. Liked how clean it was. Keep up the great work. Will return.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DUMP I CANT BELIEVE EXPEDIA EVEN LISTS THIS AS A HOTEL It’s a rip-off!!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! This is an old run down motel, not even a hotel and it is worse than some hostels Smells like cigarettes and mold even after being repainted The A/C unit when on, prevents from watching tv at any volume since it is old and loud (and the motel walls are so thin you hear all the other A/C units and TVs at full volume… it’s a disaster The door locks almost fell apart, the peep hole on my door was missing and was covered with a trash bag stuffed inside the whole The lighting is inadequate and parking is insufficient I was charged $125 per day and it is not worth even 12$ per day This property should not be in business It should be demolished

It wasn’t horrible. Overpriced, not worth $120/night + non refundable pet fee, totaling $150+ per night. No towels in room, had to go request them and guy was kinda stingy about it. Just give me towels, bro. Single male with dog so it suited our needs. Wall paint chipped all over the place, floors warped. Bed was good enough. Would stay again but only if rates were better.

Someone tried to break into my room at 11:14 PM while I was asleep. They pounded and rammed the door as hard as they could. They must have had a key because the door was open an inch or two. The only thing keeping them out was the safety lock at the top of the door as they continued to try and force their way in. Probably drunk. I ran to the door and screamed for them to leave. They eventually did and I called the front desk to report the incident. She said she would handle it. No follow up regarding it. Needless to say it was difficult to sleep afterwards. The next day I told a lady when I checked out what happened. She was aghast and apologetic. She said was going to tell the manager. I later surmised that the night person on duty gave a key to my room to someone else. I called the motel and told the person what I thought happened. She said had already discussed it with the manager. Thought I might get a call from the manager, maybe even a discount or comped night for such a restless night. But no. Not a peep. I won't be back to any Econo Lodge, and if I see Choice Hotels I will "choose" to run the other direction.

Our family of 5 stayed here as a halfway point on our way south for a family wedding. We stayed here again on our way back home. The property is beautiful! It’s set way up on a hill overlooking the town with the mountains in the background. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly. We all enjoyed the outdoor pool. It’s a little small, but enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again.

convenient to Lake Junaluska and freeway. facilities and staff were very nice. very steep driveway to motel. room refrigerator had vibration noise.

The view is beautiful. The room was as described. The staff was very nice and understanding when our dog began barking while we were at the cemetery down the street from the hotel. We were able to get back within 15 minutes and tend to him. Overall a nice place.
