Con: It was construction projects on entrance areas, it’s very inconvenient. Difficult to find the entrance.
I asked a taxi to male receptionist, he wasn’t so nice. He didn’t give me all information, so I waited outside (cold) for a while.
Pro: A restaurant inside of hotel was good.
The room was good for price.
Good shopping area in walking distance.

This room was the most spacious we had on this trip. Despite the extra bed, there was still space to open suitcases, which greatly helped logistics. Also nice to have a mirror + sink + hairdryer separate from the bathroom. The location is good: walking distance to station a bit on the long side, but many key downtown areas are equally close on foot. Minus-points mainly from the wall-to-wall carpet of our room, which had clearly seen better days.

Great hotel for the price. Very quiet. Staff are excellent. Could use better laundry facilities.

This place was awesome. The staff were amazing. We arrived drenched in sweat from walking in the summer heat and the staff just kept offering to help us. We were too early to check in, but they staff helped to keep our luggage and gave us private space to change out of our clothes. Highly recommend this place.
Its close to all the shops/ station, lots of restaurants around, and the facilities are great.

Wish this hotel has gym or Onsen on site.

They are very strict in the check inn. It’s at 3 pm on the dot.

Bustling downtown location with lots of nightlife and restaurants if that’s what you’re looking for. Not great for big suitcases as you have to use stairs/up-only escalator to get to reception. But the big problem was the wifi! Terrible connection both in my room and in the common areas. That was a big issue for me and had the wifi been fine my score would be higher.

Unexpectedly good with this low price.

Great value for the price. Larger rooms, helpful staff, clean, in a neighborhood surrounded by tons of restaurants and shops. A bit hard to get to with public transit.

It’s located in the center of Sakae, easy walk from the subway lines, and everything is around this hotel. I found it funny how body wash, shampoo, conditioner bottles get randomly swapped positions— I’m sure this isn’t intentional but something to look out for (don’t be like me who accidentally put body wash on my hair thinking it was shampoo). other than that, everything you need is in this hotel! Very clean! Friendly staff!

Very nice hotel in a great location. Lots of near by restaurants and nightlife. It's only about a 10-15 minute walk to Osu Kannon temple and the Osu shopping district. There is also a cute little hedgehog cafe directly next door. The hotel itself is very nice too. Everything was clean and comfortable. The room was quiet and staff was very friendly. All around it was a good experience.

We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 young children but there were only towels for 2 guests in the room. When we called the front desk to ask for 2 additional towels, the first response was "no, not possible". We had to explain why we needed the additional towels before they decided to give only 1 more towel....and then the next round of negotiations had to start all over again. This happened for each of the 3 nights we stayed there.
Other than that, the room was suitably sized for a small family.
At the hotel entrance, there is only an escalator (usually up-riding) and it is not wheelchair friendly for guests who need the wheelchair for mobility reasons.

The room was consider spacious in a hotel in Japan. I enjoyed my stay and the staff at the hotel were very friendly. One thing to improve will be cleanliness. I noticed that on the day I checked in there were hairs in the bathtub and the sink. Other places were clean. Also, the location was quite convenient (about 10 minute walk to Sakae Station). Next time I’m in Nagoya I would stay here again.

Location is good. 5-10 mins walk to subway. You can find a wide variety of food around hotel. Staff is nice and helpful. However, room is not very clean with 80's facilities.

When I checked in the staff seemed a bit unwelcoming and didn't offer me any additional advice or information about the hotel (check out procedure, wifi service, breakfast information, etc are generally expected but they told me nothing but the check out time and I had to ask where the elevator was to get to the room..). One of the lights in my room didn't work so I had to sit mostly in the dark.. Otherwise, the room was comfortable enough and the location of the hotel was good for shopping and sightseeing.
