Very disappointed. First of all, Expedia charged me approximately $45 more then the hotel would have charged, and this hotel is basically a knock of of a motel 6.

New, clean room, outside not so much. When I drove into the property I saw it was pretty run down looking, but the inside of my room was recently remodeled and very clean.

We caught one night at this hotel, the front desk desk was super friendly and pleasant, at midnight.
Room was clean, sheets smelled clean, and even that hint of bleach/linen, the bed was comfortable.
Room had heating and air conditioning, which we didn’t use.
Price was right! Coffee or tea in the lobby in the next morning, and Off we went.

My room at Studio 6 was great! I struggled a little figuring out the shower knob, but once i figured it out, it was perfect! I don't think I have ever seen a cuter coffee maker (single cup drip). Housekeeping made sure that I had what I needed, but they weren't intrusive about it. I recomment staying here if you are visiting Albany.

Front desk person was awesome at check in. Room could've been very comfortable and a/c heater worked very well. HOWEVER i could not rate stay any higher because bed did NOT have a blanket on it. It was just the top sheet and the very thin bed spread. I had to turn the heat way up, which is a total and complete waste of energy- just because there was no blanket on the bed.

Seemed fine

Overall just okay stay. Pros was the room was clean and somewhat updated. Cons the door deadbolt did not work, the heater did not work, and it took a lot of fiddling to get the TV to work. Asked to be moved rooms but unfortunately no others were available. If you are wanting a clean place to stay but are okay if not all the amenities work this place would do.

Beds were very comfortable and the price is great!

For what we paid, this was exactly what I hoped it would be. Room was clean and comfortable. Great budget stay. Would stay again.
You can hear the freeway from the room, so if road noise bothers you, bring earplugs.

It’s a fancy Motel 6. That being said, they actually did a nice job sprucing it up. I travel for a living and never stay at this chain based on past experiences.
For the money, I don’t think you can beet this place. Very clean inside

Great staff!!! Very friendly

Although the property is not appealing from the exterior, the rooms were surprisingly updated and comfortable. And very clean.

Good location, friendly staff. Lots of good food nearby. A little noisy due to freeway, but a great overall experience

Older property with some recent upgrades. Happened to get booked in handicap room with queen bed, fortunately not facing highway, so reasonably quiet. Room had a small fridge, which for some reason was put under a low shelf which was intended for hanging clothes for handicap guest. They took out the hanging bar, so there was no place for us to put our hanging items until we moved the fridge into the bathroom to serve as a counter for our toiletries.
Shower was plumbed backwards - we turned the handle to hot setting and got only cold... until we discovered that by turning the valve to the cold position (almost off) that it was hot... but only for a short shower. The 2nd night we got to our room after 11pm and had no hot water at all. When we called the front desk, the manager (guy) said there was nothing he could do, he's not a plumber, and no compensation would be issued for our inconvenience, and hung up. Then the other manager (his wife) called me on my cell phone and apologized, saying there was a vacant room in the other building that we could shower in, just come get the room key. So we collected our toiletries and robes and went out to get a much appreciated shower.
Next morning the manager (the guy) met me as I was loading the car and apologized again, saying he thought he had taken care of the hot water problem. I told him it was fine, we felt better after we had showered and we slept comfortably.

The hotel was clean and recently updated. The mattress was very nice to sleep on (it had a very nice pillow-top). The manager was very personable to talk with.

Rude staff and very loud all threw the night

Nice and clean room, comfy bed, wake up call was an hour early, but it actually ended up working out for the best, so no harm done. Very nice hotel for the price point.

Stopped over for the night during a long roadtrip. For the price, this was excellent. Very clean, pleasant staff, quiet- exactly what we needed. No frills, but we felt safe and comfortable.

I want to say I really liked this Motel 6, general manager was warm and welcoming, room was nicely remodeled and efficient, price was right, hotel was quiet though in what once was considered a seedy area. I felt safe. The only drawback was the comforter was stained and should have been pulled from service. Was clearly pre-remodel and from the old hotel6 brand. This hotel was fine for an overnight stay or short stay to the area.

It didn't have fancy furniture like other places, but it only cost $50 instead of $150. I slept wonderfully, the room was clean, the bathroom is clean, had everything I needed. The front desk staff was great.

Bedding was stained. Staff was helpful and refunded money so I could stay somewhere else.

The staff was good, the wifi quality was pretty good for a budget hotel, the bed was comfortable enough at least the rooms floor could have been dust mopped and even wet mopped but the overall experience was good.

The best I can say is that is was clean. The property is poorly maintained, sketchy at best, the deadbolt would not lock, pretty rundown. No extra pillows or blankets, no shampoo, ...

Everything seemed really cheap quality and worn down. We could hear people in the room above us moving around and it kept waking us up throughout the night.

Perfect for our need. Furniture needs paint touch-up, but for the cost, great!

I had a ride to the hotel. When my days were up I tried getting 2 more nights and was told they were all booked. I had to leave in pouring rain totting suitcases and my son. Looked on Expedia and saw in fact they still had rooms available. Spoke to a girl at gas station who use to work at the hotel and she said the hotel refuses to rent you a room if you have no vehicle.
Went back to the hotel office and told the lady I saw that Expedia still had rooms listed. The lady finally admitted that they were not full and had rooms. She said she didn't have enough house keepers and they couldn't get the work done.
Asked about not having a car and she said she couldn't help me.
Mind you it's pouring down rain and we had luggage and had to sit against the wall by a company to keep from getting wet. Me and my son had to walk almost 2 miles really fast and catch a bus to Corvallis.
I handled it well but I was lied to and discriminated for not having a car and refused a room.
Man that works there followed me when I was going back to my room from the store and questioned me about the room I was in. I didn't see a uniform or know who he was and didn't feel comfortable answering his questions.
Remote in the room didn't work except for the volume and was told that's just what was available.
I was questioned by housekeeping while walking down the sidewalk and everyone who works here act like police or treat you like you don't belong there and have to be questioned about everything.

Newly renovated very nicely done the bed and bedding were really nice large tv super clean and quiet and extremely under priced

Really clean. The bed is comfortable. The guy at the counter was super chill. I reserved a pet friendly room. I got into my room and unpacked then a couple hours later had to move because I wasn’t given a pet friendly room (??). It was a dumpster fire and very inconvenient. But otherwise this place is actually pretty fantastic. I would stay here again and I would recommend it.

It was what we expected for a place to spend the night while on the road to Washington.

The room provided the shelter I needed. Clean, well maintained not fancy but livable. TV was very good. Like many motels unfortunately, the prime blanket provided was a comforter which is way too warm as opposed to a common blanket. I took off the comforter and used just the bed spread and sheet. Had trouble with card key but attendant promptly corrected that.

The floors were dirty. There were stains on the comforters and I found multiple cockroaches in the room. Management refused to believe me. Finally got a refund and moved to a different hotel.

Very nice room interior, recently updated. Easy access to I-5 (3mins) and downtown Albany (5-7 mins). Many restaurants close by.

The shower did not have hot water & we stayed for 2 nights & no one cleaned our room or brought clean towels. Too many blinking things in the room to make it dark. Sheets scratchy & kind of pilly
