Fantastic service and breakfast buffet was amazing. However, we had dinner in the hotel one evening and while the food and service was good, it didn't represent good value for money in comparison to the other offerings in the area

Our experience at Ajwa hotel was absolutely amazing, just walking into the lobby for the first time felt like being in a museum and travelling back in time with the features and deco , they also provided this pink drink when we arrived with Ajwa dates, the drink was out of this world made with honey and rose syrup, trust me you would want more The room was was absolutely stunning with a real authentic look and feel, just like the features and deco in the lobby The room was a quite that we all had a really good night sleep each night refreshed ready for the next day The breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious and the views were breathtaking, the staff in the morning were so friendly and attendeed every need we had One evening we ate at the Zafrene restaurant in the hotel and the hospitality , conversations, food was first class and the staff were very friendly we even met the executive chef who presented us with a gift that we will never forget , they even specially bought their special culturally out for us and one of the bowls was over 100 years old A truly wonderful experience and we will definitely be returning there again very soon Thank you to everyone at Ajwa Hotel who looked after and cared for us during our staff from the cleaning staff to the front of house staff Thank You

Excellent Service & Great Facilities.

A wonderful experience at AJWA Istanbul. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Ibrahim who I believe was one of the managers is a true professional, he gave us everything we asked for at the rooftop restaurant. Sultan who maintained our room made sure we had everything. We travel a decent amount and have stayed if various properties across the world, and this was one of the best ones. The attention to details and overall quality was superb, for example all the towels are covered in separate cloth envelopes. Walkable to all the major attractions. We will definitely stay here next time we are in town.

This is an excellent 5-star option if you are staying in the Sultanahmet or Historic District. What sets this hotel apart is its service from arrival to departure. Great friendly and helpful staff.

Great location and amazing rooms. Perfect to stay here as everything is so close by. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were all very helpful.

The property is located in the heart of important sites to see. The accommodations, staff and management were 5 star. There is a beautiful view of the area from the top floor restaurant.

Lovely, comfortable hotel with all the amenities you could need and in a very conveneient location for all the major attractions. Hotel also has a lovely spa! Staff were also very helpful and polite - my luggage ended up on a later flight than I did and the hotel staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help me track and get my luggage delivered to the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Ajwa is a true five star experience. The service team must be highlighter, from the bell staff to the concierge. You never hear a "no", they help with just about everything and go above and beyond. My small criticism is that the rooms are on the smaller side for families with children but still very comfortable.

Top quality hotel. At the beginning we got a disappointing room due to location of the room itself. We talked with the manager and fortunately he provided us a marvaleous corner suite with nice view and extra space. Service was also fantastic during our stay. Without doubt, this hotel will be considered as preferred option for our next visit to Istambul.

Had an amazing time in Istanbul. The hotel was the icing on the cake. Great staff, always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast at the restaurant was at a very high standard including the staff. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very comfortable 5 star hotel in the heart of old town Istanbul and in walking distance to all important historical sites. Service is outstanding and the hotel has an old world feeling.

The Hotel Staff took care of us starting the day we checked into the Hotel. Our luggage never arrived at Istanbul airport, so we had to file a report. The concierge took over our missing luggage with the airport, gave us new sleeping clothes for the night, and make reservations upstairs at their excellent dining room for dinner. Our luggage came to our room the next day. Next day, one of the staff gave us their transportation card for us to use on the transit system so we can learn how to get our own card. I have no words on how much my wife and I appreciate the way they took care of us. On the last day of check-out, the whole staff greeted us at the lobby and wish us a safe trip home. We were in tears as we got into our Hotel transportation to the airport..

I have been twice to this hotel for business and pleasure in 2023. I am so happy with it. The staff are wonderful. The property is artistic and beautiful. The view from the rooftop restaurant is amazing. Oh, and the perfume that permeates the air throughout the property is a total delight. Top notch!

The concierge Omer that helped us was a money grabbing con artist. We got over charged for the tour that he set up.. We asked other tourist what they paid and it was significantly less. Stupid us we trusted him, he asked us to pay him direct and the hotel would pay the tour guide. He paid the tour guide and pocketed the rest.Also, he said he would take us to the first stop of the tour. He offered us a coffee shop on the way, which turned out to be a shop of expensive items and no coffee. We were shocked and disappointed. This was our first trip to Istanbul and we’re very upset.

The staff was excellent; rooms were very clean, nicely decorated and had all the amenities you would need for a comfortable stay.

We were overwhelmed with the beauty, authenticity and attention to detail at the AJWA Sultanahmet. The lobby was beautiful and full of Turkish craftsmanship, the rooms were a masterclass in cultural accommodation with fine attention to detail everywhere you looked. The bed was supremely comfortable. Welcome refreshments were provided both in the lobby and in your room - which were a delightful selection of traditional drinks, Turkish sweets, fruits and nuts. The bathroom was beautifully appointed and all class and our room was complete with everything you could possibly need. Including two beautiful Throne like chairs. We were lucky enough to get the corner room with balcony doors which opened out to the streets below. Overall, without being ludicrously expensive, this hotel hits all the highs of traditional, but understated luxury. If i could give it 20 I would. We really enjoyed our stay here. If you’re looking for something really authentic, AJWA is your place. Oh, and the service and smiles from all the staff there were exemplary - we felt very at home and nothing was too much trouble. Great job AJWA.

If you are planning a trip to Istanbul, staying at AJWA Sultanahmet will make your experience even better. Not only is this hotel absolutely beautiful, the service provided by all staff members is outstanding. The rooms are wonderfully appointed, decorated with custom made and quality furniture, bedding and more, include extras specific to the region, and extremely clean. Hand painted tiles and marble are used throughout. The hotel’s restaurant is also excellent. Finally, the concierge (there are multiple ready to assist) are knowledgeable, excited to assist based on individual guest needs, reliable and lovely. Although alcohol is not available to guests (including in the restaurant) and the spa/indoor pool hours vary based on men and women, these minor differences are quickly forgotten once you are greeted by the staff and lay eyes on the unique and exceptional interior.

We loved our stay at Ajwa! The staff was super friendly and very helpful. They always had a smile for us whenever we came or went. They were very accommodating. It was wonderful to be welcomed in with a delicious mint sherbet, or a Turkish tea. The environment was very welcoming, homey and luxurious at the same time. The atmosphere of the hotel was beautiful. We appreciated the attention to detail and the quality of the furnishings. We enjoyed the gym and spa. The service was excellent and the all staff were very attentive and courteous. The location was very convenient for walking to the main tourist attractions. The restaurant had a great view and had a varied menu. I would recommend the hotel to friends and family.

We really enjoyed our stay at AJWA Sultanahmet. Everything was excellent - the hotel itself is beautiful, the room is luxurious, the staff - everyone - is super friendly and helpful, the restaurant is awesome - both the breakfast buffet and dinner. Location is great - walking distance to all major sites (but keep in mind that Istanbul is hilly). Outstanding!
