Fabulous location in quiet courtyard right off the main entrance gate from the farmer's market. Hotel even has its own history! Superior staff who gave excellent suggestions for dinner(Kanoba Varos, Vila Spiza), answered every question, made sure we were comfortable in every way possible. Amazing renovations to historical location. Great breakfast - made to order hot food, cold buffet with everything you could think of for breakfast. My only suggestion would be to check lightbulbs (one in bathroom flickered constantly, make sure bathroom floor warming off during summer, lowest water pressure for hot water for whole trip - ample water though). Hotel offers parking offsite (no cars in historical area) & coordination to assist with luggage for $20-25 Euro/night) but we elected to used BMove App (tells you where parking is near you, cost per hour or day, pay for hours you need/Sundays FREE) and parked on street opposite side of farmer's market. Less than 5 minute pull of suitcases to arrive at hotel door. Parking everywhere in Croatia is safe (we left visible extra luggage in car the whole trip).

This hotel is wonderful!!! The staff is amazing and the location cannot be better. It's like staying with family because you can feel the love from everyone that works there. I can't imagine a better place in Split to stay.

A beautiful hotel inside the palace has a really special feel, the welcome and hospitality of the staff made our trip extra special - from arranging transport, boat tours, dinner recommendations and bookings. Our room was gorgeous, modern and cosy with a private terrace above the rooftops and with views of old town in all directions. All in all a magical stay and somewhere we would come back to again.

Centrally located in the old town yet quiet. Very friendly staff, spacious room with nice terrasse. Yummy breakfast with a lot of food choices. We would definitely recommend!

This is my 3rd time staying in this hotel. Very clean , and since its a small hotel the staff treat you in a more friendly treatment. They have helped us alot in the trip in all of our bookings and suggestions which is what you need to in split,

Great location inside palace walls. Reception staff were super friendly. Picked us up from ferry. Room was well sound proofed looks over fun square with restaurants. Would def stay again.

Take them up on their offer to send a shuttle to meet you at the airport. It is really not that easy to find the small unmarked hotel inside the Diocletian Palace grounds, but of course that is its charm! Their driver (Elvis) was friendly and professional and the cost comparable to a taxi. Ivan and Jerolim, the staff at the desk also rock!

A very unique property since it exists within the old walls of the Diocletian palace. The staff was so friendly and accomodating. They arranged early transportation to the airport and even got us a sack breakfast to take with us. Great restaurants and museums within walking distance. The room was quiet and even has heated flooring in the bathroom. A wonderful find!

Hotel Murum is a wonderful hotel in many ways and we enjoyed our stay very much.
The staff provides excellent service and helped with our reservations. The room is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The daily breakfasts are delicious which were cooked to order, along with a very nice selection of breakfast items and juices.

We were met by Jacob who carried our cases and took us to the hotel. We stayed in a room with a beautiful terrace. All staff, particularly Ivana and Dea were amazing - so helpful with ideas for dining and directions etc. Our breakfast was brought to our room each morning so we could eat on the terrace. We were made to feel very special and would love to return one day.

Our stay at Hotel Murum exceeding our expectations. Everything about it was perfect, from the amazing location in the middle of Diocletian’s Palace, to the many amenities provided in the room (slippers & robes, heated bathroom floors) to the delicious breakfast that was included every morning. But the most amazing thing was the staff. We were greeted like old friends every time we walked in the doors. They quickly remembered our preferences at breakfast and our plans for the week and offered many ideas for tours and other activities. They even picked up on the fact that one of the members of our party was celebrating a birthday and surprised her with a birthday cake at breakfast. They then went beyond that, letting the restaurant we were eating at that night know about the birthday when they called to make us reservations. We were again surprised with another birthday dessert at dinner. This is the best staff I have ever encountered in my many years of traveling. Highly recommend the Hotel Murum!

Friendly and helpful staff and personal service. Fantastic rooms with stone walls and modern contemporary furnishing. A short walk from the nearest parking into the old Roman palace where the hotel is located, staff took care of transportation and luggage. An incredible atmosphere in the hotel and its surroundings. Will certainly be our first priority lodging when returning to split.

A very central, old city location. Small room but well presented, with a complimentary champagne. Nice breakfast, good variety, but average cakes/pastries, in a cramped room. I booked because there was parking; in fact it was some distance away and outside, which was not appropriate for my car, meantime I had to park at another hotel an Uber ride away. Friendly staff. Recommend if you want to be in the old city.

It's the perfect hotel for a short break in Split - located right in the middle of everything yet quiet, cool, and calm when you need to escape the heat and the crowds - which we did repeatedly through the day! The room was spacious and all we needed (with nice Rituals toiletries too), the staff were so helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was good too. Literally couldn't ask for more!

From the moment we arrived in Split to meet the driver pre-arranged through the Murum Boutique Hotel to our departure everything was professional. The kind of service you would expect from a larger five star hotel was experienced with this tiny boutique property. I would highly recommend and stay again.

We had such a wonderful stay at Murum Hotel. We had originally booked in 2020 and had to cancel so we were delighted to finally have the opportunity to stay. Not only was the hotel in a fantastic position with great rooms but the hotel staff - everyone of them - were so friendly and helpful - even arranging an emergency dentist for us on a public holiday - all the time with beautiful smiles and genuine care. We had a great stay here for 4 nights. Right from the beginning where we were met at the airport, the experience was delightful. The staff were so very friendly, pleasant and always helpful. The morning breakfast was delicious! Our room was wonderful, and the location is incredibly convenient. Can't say enough positive about this hotel and its staff - Thanks Hotel Murum!
