We had showered with cold water for 3 days, the basin tap has hot water but not the shower. We thought of shower at Steam/ sauna room but also no hot water. Adults we can but my 2yo boy cried as the shower water was too cold. We did feedback on the next day after the check in but still the same & nobody get back to us to check on this issue. The elements mall next to the hotel has been closed down so nothing to shop.Road closures on Jonker street on weekends starts from 530pm so it's difficult to drive/grab in, had to dropped down somewhere near to walk in. So for the hotel location I would prefer to stay in walking distance around Jonker street for convenience as Doubletree has nothing around to shop for & a distance to main attractions area.

If you’re looking for a great place to stay in Melaka, look no further
I’ve been a Hilton Honors member since 2020 and have never regretted it. Second time staying in this hotel, first time was in the Junior Suite and this time in the Deluxe Room
Was greeted warmly by the front staff Anna, first impression matters
All rated 5 stars except for the condition of the room I was given, carpet was slightly worn out and some parts slightly sticky when your feet contacts it. But note that this is just the room I was staying in, didn’t mind as I just avoided those areas (luckily not the route to the bathroom)
Facilities all good in terms of the gym and the swimming pool. Views are great from certain rooms overlooking the sea
Breakfast is the main hook of the hotel with the staff coming around serving their famous Teh Tarik. Don’t wary about the location as grab is vastly available in this area.

The Hotel room is spacious and clean. Front desk staff polite and helpful.
However the hotel reception is located at the 12th floor, car park is located at the 5th floor, the route to the lift lobby from the car park is very dirty and isolated. Moreover there is no proper sign leading to the car park and there is no indication where we can park our car.
The nightmare come on the checking out day, according to the hotel staff, the hotel lift broke down in the middle of the night. We will not notified of the breakdown. We were make to walk down from the 27th floor to the 12th floor for breakfast and walk out again to our room to pack our luggage and walk down again. The hotel should have informed us to pack our luggage and walk down only once to the 12th floor for breakfast and then straight away check out.
The hotel need to improve on this.

Hotel is nice, clean, comfortable, at great location. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The stay has been pleasant except for the lift shutdown that occurs on 19 Jan, due to a water pipe burst in the building next to Doubletree Hilton Melaka.
We were not informed of the lift shutdown till in the morning when we were trying to take the lift from 20th floor down to ground floor. It was after a few call to the customer care hotline were we then informed of the situation and yet it wasn’t very clear of what was going on.
The hotel should have texted us about the situation almost immediately when the lift shut down occur. Communication is important in such situation to avoid confusion and panic. The staff was not very consistent in their reply when we are trying to do our checkout. Some were telling us to go to the receptionist on 12th floor while some was saying we can just go to the concierge on ground floor, thus resulting in confusion. Since our check out, we still do not receive any formal apologies nor compensation for the inconvenience. We hope the hotel can reflect on the feedback provided above.

It’s pretty quiet here and no walkable shopping centre around. International buffets food varieties quite limited and should add in more food varieties. Still like the hotel and the cookies overall.

We had booked 2 junior suites for our recent stay for 6paxs. Upon arrival we had requested for additional single bed for each room and were turned down as there aint enough bed available! The king size bed is not even possible to sleep 3!!! This is appalling as we do not expect such things to happen at Hilton.

We enjoyed our stay here, though it is a bit far from the touristy part of Melaka. The pool is great but would be better if you could order food and drinks there. The pre-authorisation amount takes a long time to be released (7-14 days) so be aware that it can eat into your holiday budget with that money in limbo for that time.

Away from city centre. Need to pay RM110 per room per night for an extra bed. No long bath in the room.

The room was large and comfortable. Hotel can be described as a little "tired", a bit of a leak dripping in the toilet area, needs new fresh pillows. Sufficient coffee, tea and bottled water had to be requested. Staff are very amicable and willing to help. Females need to be weary of local traditions and be "modest" (staff usually address the male anyway). Good sauna and infinity pool, but females need to be modest.

Overall very happy with my stay at the hotel. Little disappointed that my request during the booking were not fulfilled. Service staff are all very friendly, helpful and courteous. Prompt services. Breakfast buffet ok but can be improved. I highly recommend.

The one room suite is large and spacious and has a great view. Ser ice stanard of staff was also great. The only complaint I have is the building where the hotel is located. I was surprised that the whole Elements Mall was no longer in operation and there was also not much shops selling food around, making the vicinity kind of sad and dark in the night. Hope to see a revival of the biz around the hotel soon.

1. Good treat with complimentary cookies upon check-in. It would be excellent if that includes drinks as well.

Overall a pleasant stay but the furnishing of the room and hotel does seems to be a bit dated, e.g. TV cannot cast content and the climate control touch screen control is not sensitive

Hotel well kept after lockdown, room(s) are clean and comfortable. Breakfast spread are good and delicious.
Front office staff kind and friendly

There's good and there's bad here The room itself was very nice. The check in and attentive doormen were excellent. But.... nobody tells you that the hotel sits in a totally abandoned mall, some distance from the town centre and Jonkers. And nobody at the hotel told us before we checked in that all the water would be turned off to rooms from midnight to 6.00am - no showering, no toilets?!? So we had to rush back like Cinderella or sleep dirty. For an operational, so-called 5 star hotel, charging full price that is unforgivable. So for this HiltonHonors Gold member, it ranks as the worst Hilton experience I've ever had with he chain. Just not good enough, sorry.

The staff was superb with very comfortable room and great breakfast. Lacking of nearby shops due to the closed down of attached mall.
3.0
Lack of quality in food eg at your hotel standard, should hv given real sausages instead of processed ones, shower area was flooded and overflowed to the main bathroom and room, probably due to lack of maintenance to the water outlet
5.0
Uniquely chocolate chips cookies as welcoming item.
4.0
The hotel itself is okay. I wouldn’t rate it as a 5 star hotel but a 4.5 star. When checking in, not informed that the swimming pool would be in maintenance. The iron board was broken. The toilet door could not closed properly. In addition, no shuttle service to the downtown area as the location is about 2 KM away from major hall area. There is a shopping mall connected to the hotel but it is empty and no shops at all. Probably, it is a result of the pandemic.
