Took 15 minutes to get hot water every day to take a shower.
Need to replace beds/frames.
For a extended stay maybe actually have cooking supplies. Like Aspens do in South East Alaska

I had only planned on staying one night. But wound up staying three nights. The hot water was not running the first day. Then there was no more problems with it after that. The staff was friendly, and the property was clean.

Charged us for two rooms, and then claimed no rooms were available. Refused to refund the charges. Check in clerk appeared to be compromised, and took 35 minutes to check in the people ahead of us. More than 15 people were waiting in the lobby.

Check in was a non friendly staff member seemed irritated that she was working. However the staff later was very friendly when I asked about Taxis & Bus routes to take downtown.
The room smell is musty but it was clean so maybe to have air fresheners in the room would help.
There is a store right next to the place so it’s nice for food options. Okay place to stay if you need walking distance from the airport.

The property has a kitchenette however you need to buy your pans and pots in the front desk. No plates and utensils as well. No breakfast served. It was not worth the money.

After experiencing Super 8 for one night ANYTHING would be an improvement! But My Place just took lowered expectations and sets the bar high! Great service, excellent amenities and will definitely stay again!
One small thing they dont loan or rent cookware and your forced to purchase pots, pans.

Needed some help and manager was too bored to leave his desk and chat with me. Front end personel not friendly in the evening, ok during the day. on business things occur that need some help, did not feel anyone cared. Next time in Ketchikan I am back to my normal spot.

Didn’t give us the room we booked. Neighbors above us were unusually loud all night even after we called and complained at midnight. Never anyone at the front desk. You literally had to call them to meet you in the lobby. Waste of a kitchen because there is absolutely no cook wear or silverware or plates and bowls. Nothing. A full kitchen and not one thing ti cook or eat with.

11 night stay-room not cleaned-alternative room given (not ready)- 2 sets of people also had keys to room after we checked in-if lock on door not there, we would’ve been walked in on. 4 times we were locked out of our own room. No sheet changes or room clean even after we requested. Shall I continue?

Our room was very spacious and well appointed, with a kitchenette, full size refrigerator, microwave and in room coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable and the bed and bath linens were first class. The front desk staff were very professional and made us feel very welcome at all times, and the housekeeping staff kept us well supplied with fresh fluffy towels. They have a small convenience store right next to the front desk stocked with everything from toiletries to frozen burritos, cutlery and kitchen utensils, and are located near a grocery store and one block from a popular local restaurant. The hotel is also a very convenient walking distance from the airport ferry and the Alaska Marine Highway terminals. All in all, the hospitality we received contributed greatly to a wonderful experience in Ketchikan. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

If you are taking the Alaska Marine highway ferry — the terminal is an easy one or two block walk. Shirt ride from airport ferry. There’s laundry facilities on site and a grocery store next door. Easy cab to downtown which is beautiful. In town we saw tons of running salmon and seals. Staff was very nice and responsive. Enjoyed our stay.
