I was excited to celebrate a business sale with my co-founders and partners at the Marriot Momi Bay.
But that soon turned to disbelief and then anger. First I've traveled to 60+ counties. I love the Marriot brand. I have been using them for two decades. I love Fiji even more, having spent 14months of the past 3 years for business and pleasure. On this trip I've stayed at Crowne Plaza, Grand Pacific Hotel and was testing out Six Senses, Intercon, Vomo for July, where ten friends are coming over.
I paid for three rooms. The attitude and cheek from the check in process to check out was unbelievable. Cold food delivered to the room and at the restaurants, including cold, clearly freezer burned and mushy 300 dollar lobster. Carts weren't made available just told catch the bus 75% of the time.. Waiting time sometimes 30 minutes. Room service 2 hours.. Grimey water in the lagoon that leaves an oily film, absolute no conservation, dead coral, not allowed to go snorkeling, incompetent management training.
The staff at the fish bar and the check out staff were the only reprieve to a horrid horrid horrid experience. They even managed to cancel a room I booked for a friend after refusing with a weeks notice to credit his first nighr as he was tied up with a personal issue. Upon check I explained my disbelief but told them he would arrive tomorrow so please don't cancel room for no show. I checked him in as my card was on all rooms. You can guess want they tried to do.

Wonderful! We spent 4 nights at this resort and we highly recommend it. Staff were extremely friendly and always going an extra mile for us, accommodations couldn’t be more perfect we had a bay view villa. Lots of on site activities and food options.

It’s the staff that work here…..this country is the nicest people I have ever been around. 99 percent of the employees said hello and would help in one way or another. I have never seen this type of hospitality in my life!

A definite must holiday destination for everyone to experience. Loved sunsets at the infinity pool, delicious cocktails at the swim up pool bar, lulling in the lagoon, strolling along the beach fronts and footpaths being greeted by every Fijian staff member, all our dining experiences, the fire show, the funny fish feeding, the conch call and fire lighting at dusk, the farewell song, the snorkeling trip, the variety of food available, the fresh clean rooms, all inclusive package and a huge thank you to the amazing staff who really made our stay there so delightful. Our family will never forget how special our trip was.

Really enjoyed our 1 night stay on our drive back to Nadi. The spectacular setting and friendly staff made for a great experience. Hope to return some day.

Never experienced this level of hospitality before. All the staff had a smile on their faces and ready to fulfill every need.
Amazing place to vacation.
The only thing I was not happy about was the transfer to and from the resort, very expensive compared to taxi fare.

There is nothing we didn’t like about this place. Everything was absolutely perfect and I will never go anywhere else when I go to Fiji. The staff were exceptional, so friendly, attentive, welcoming, and really made us feel like we were family. The staff are what sets this place apart from the rest, they really created the most memorable experience for us. I wish I could name them all - Leilani, Leli, Jovi….they all went above and beyond. And nightly live music was so beautiful (Queenie had the most amazing voice). Can’t wait to return again soon 🙏🙏🙏

The staff handled our every whim. Always anticipating. Breakfast was a phenomenal feast. Only 6 years old so all is new. We highly recommend the Marriott on Momi Bay.

Wonderful resort who gave the most memorable and unique welcome. Very friendly and warm staff, who always referred to us as family. Beautiful scenic surroundings, excellent rooms and dining. Plenty of facilities and activities. Would definitely come back again and would highly recommend.

Nice property with good facilities. Nice pool but only a single one for families. Could have done with another pool for the size of the property.
Staff were super friendly and accommodating although you do need to get used to “Fiji time” when it comes to food service. Not super fast so enjoy a few drinks whilst waiting :-)

The resort is beautiful, luxurious, and well-maintained. But it’s the staff who make this a place I will go back to! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, I could not have asked for better service. Before we went I read other reviews complaining about the all-inclusive packages, but I found the packages to be great value and very clear as to what is and isn’t included. I can’t wait to visit again soon!

The resort is well maintained and offers plenty of space to relax and enjoy your holiday. Dining options were sufficient but will likely become repetitive over longer stays. Our main concern was the level of service from the staff during our stay. While some staff were excellent and went above and beyond, the majority of the staff seemed to still be in training which meant the standard of service you received during meal services were well below what you would expect for a resort of this nature. There were also issues when booking activities at the resort where we made reservations for activities only to then be told on the day that they never completed our booking. Overall a good experience but we definitely think the level of service is not up to standard for the price you pay.

Excellent!! Staff, location, accommodation, services are to good. Plenty of food choices and bars to chill. Doesn't feel so crowded despite being full. Only thing to improve is to ban smoking and vapes completely to have a better experience without the annoyance of cigarette smell.

Overall an amazing week! Beautiful resort and lagoon. Our favourite spot was the adults only pool.

We are both vegan and options were a bit limited and repetitive. Would be great if the restaurant added allergy labels at the buffet so we didn’t have to ask kitchen everytime.
Beds very comfortable but the beds were a bit stinky, we couldn’t figure out why…even after changing sheets.

The resort is great, the amenities are excellent, staff are extremely friendly, helpful and genuinely make the stay feel welcoming and warm. They are lovely people.
The one recommendation I would say is get the all inclusive package because you end up paying for it other wise, it’s very expensive. Also watch out for the hidden surcharges, they seem to be hiding everywhere at this hotel

Our visit to the Marriott Fiji was magical. The property is beautiful and the staff are lovely. The property is 50 minutes from the airport so more suited if you are looking for a relaxing resort holiday, which was exactly what we were after. We bought the all inclusive food and beverage package and have no regrets. There is so much included in the package and the food was amazing. The Fish Bar isn’t included in the package however this didn’t worry us. We still went to the bar for afternoon drinks and the beautiful sunset. The adult only infinitely pool was stunning and we spent each morning there relaxing and swimming. I would recommend the Marriott for anyone wanting a relaxing resort holiday.

this is the worst hotel ever. having stayed at many hotels in fiji, this time i booked this hotel to give it a try. i called them multiple times and emailed them, but their hotel didn't respond in prepare for the check in. their hotel has the most terrible customer service. i canceled the reservation and requested a full refund due to them being unresponsive to my request of booking airport transfers and set up the room for special occasion as well as lunch/dinner reservations and activities booking. they also kept send me spams and advertisement emails which contain virus.

We just got back from our week long vacation and everything was wonderful. We did multiple excursions, all were great, and even found a local vendor who uses paints and wood blocks to make custom clothing, which was amazing!
