Beautiful boutique hotel. The rooms are the size of a large studio apartment. Hotel is very close to UCLA Medical Center. UCLA Medical Center offers a free shuttle to and from the hotel.

We loved the comfort and Italian villa style of Plaza La Reina. The rooftop terrace was beautiful to sit and have a glass of wine with citrus trees surrounding us. The housekeeping service was the only thing that was a little inconsistent as we had towels removed and not replaced one day and no service another, but it did not keep us from thoroughly enjoying ourselves!

Friendly check in with free waters

PLR is my go to whenever I’m in LA. It’s in a quiet area but steps away from many things you’d want to do and see in LA. The staff and service is impeccable. Highly recommends

Very nice property, room was very cozy and comfortable. I felt like home. It was equipped with everything we needed. Mini kitchen was great bonus, they even had dishwasher.

I love this hotel. Although it costs a little more than your run of the mill chain hotel, you get more than you pay for in terms of amenities and space. The staff is great and incredibly helpful. It is my favorite hotel in Los Angeles.

I really like this property, but windows aren't room darkening, and for long stays, it's very hard to not sleep well. Also the walls of hte bathroom were filthy, counter of kitchen was dirty, etc. More attention to detail, updated TV software so you can cast/ stream your own accounts, better toilet paper, rehanging the curtains to not have light come in, would be big improvements. Staff is great.

Always lovely. It’s our third time - home away from home.

The pictures online were nice but basic in person. Front desk lady who had accent was somewhat rude. I was expecting quality for this 4 star hotel and for the price I paid. Was disappointed with the outcome.
Had better experience with other 4 start hotels such as Sheraton Hotels.

A very lovely hotel tucked in a quaint neighborhood! Loved the Spanish architecture and feel of the hotel. Lavish bathroom with warm robe to start the day.
Thanks to the staff for accommodating us with a wheelchair. Lovely down to the maid who assisted us upon our arrival.

I and my wife stayed there for 5 nights. The overall condition of the hotel, room, and experience was good until something happend in the middle of our stay.
On our 3rd day, my wife lost one white T-shift and one white long-sleeve at the hotel. We are 100% sure that we lost them there because she tried them both in the morning but chose to wear another one and put them on the floor. We gussed the housekeeper may have confused them with towels and taken them. For us, this was the only possible explanation.
I talked to a lady at the front desk and was told that they will check it out tomorrow and give us a call (it was evening).
Next day, we did not hear anything from them. So, I talked to a guy at the front desk in the afternoon. The guy said that he will get the housekeeper to search for it.
2 days after, we still didn't hear anything from them. I talked to another lady at the front desk and was told that it is Sunday night nobody is here, I should call them tomorrow when there is a manager who handles such matters, it was during weekend so nothing can be done.
For the 3 days, I have talked to three different people at the front desk about the lost items, the only thing that we heard from them is basically they will do... tomorrow... No phone call, no response, whether they have searched? found? not found?
So, if you ever decide to stay at this hotel, be careful! watch out!
I hope nothing bad happens to anyone. But, if so, I wish it wouldn't be during weekend.

Home away from home! Everything is walkable, property is safe, quiet, meticulous, and beautifully designed and furnished. Easy parking, pet friendly, customer-first team. Especially convenient for UCLA hospital appointments - I walked there daily, and it's right off the freeway making for an easy commute.

Plaza la Reina is the place to stay when you're visiting LA. The hotel room is very spacious and has a very cozy/ home-like atmosphere. The hotel staff are also very friendly and helpful. Troy and Tina are amazing concierges. The neighborhood is very walkable and there are a lot of food places around. The Getty Center is a short drive from the hotel. There are also a lot of Uber around as well. I'll be definitely coming back here again when I'm in LA next time.

Exceptional service and accommodation for the minutest of requests!! The Manager was very empathetic about my situation and allowed me to stay on in my upgraded room when i rebooked through a third part for a lower fare. He also extended priveleges that were not part of my room like laundry!

The location is excellent, the accommodations were very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Ask for a room with a view since we faced an alley and that was a disappointment. The washer/ dryer was great to have.

This is a great place to stay. It's easy to get on the freeways. And, very convenient to walk in nearby neighborhoods. Restaurants, grocery store, museums, and theatres are near. Staff was always courteous and helpful.

A quiet oasis with large rooms and a convenient location, Plaza La Reina will be my go to hotel in the Los Angeles area.

The hotel staff was terrific beyond belief. It might have been because i had an adorable dog with me, but, they went out of their way to be considerate. The suites are super spacious and the kitchen was wonderful. Laundry machines were Bosch. Makes me wish i had stayed longer. Highly recommend!

Abuse manager Phillipe, threatens my recovery stage 4 cancer. After 4 days receiving treatment at UCLA I extended my stay & although having a reservation Phillipe proceeds to barge in without permission to my private space without apology but instead screaming "do you want me to call the cops".
I stated I have a new reservation and he replies I can cancel it. My hotel.l" This location being recommended and stayed here more than 30 nights in over 2 years. No apology and no shame. No hospitality ignores this level of anger disrespect or inappropriateness.

We lived staying at Plaza La Reina. We had a one bedroom suite and felt like we had our own apartment in the middle of Los Angeles.
Both Troy (concierge) and Phillippe (manager) we’re extremely friendly and helpful and we truly appreciated the upgrade.
The room was spacious, immaculate, well appointed and perfect for our 3-night stay.
We would definitely stay there again next time we’re in LA.

Did not have a pleasant experience, no hot water for a few days, had a leak in my ceiling for one night , was told to just put a bucket under it 😅

The front desk staff Troy is very friendly so we felt welcomed every day when we walked into the hotel. The hotel is located in Westwood with many restaurants nearby. Our room is clean, quiet and spacious. We were surprised that our room even comes with a kitchenette and laundry. We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Spanish style hotel.

I loved everything about Plaza la Reina. The hotel is beautifully designed, and the rooms are spacious with all sorts of amenities. Parking is extremely convenient, and the hotel is within walking distance to all sorts of restaurants and shopping in Westwood.
Thank you for a wonderful stay, I look forward to coming back!

There were no utensils in the kitchen. And it is located across a busy street from the main walking part of Westwood. I like to walk around town but the location is a bit farther than I thought it would be.

This has to be one of the most beautiful little hotels in all of Los Angeles and beyond. The rooms are magnificently decorated, spacious, and well-lit. The courtyard of this hotel provides an excellent respite from the busy city surrounding. There are excellent restaurants, coffee shops, and stores within a few minutes walk. The staff are extremely courteous, and they give a touch of elegance to the stay.

This is truly a hidden gem. Very secure, beautiful courtyard and patio, enormous room, and very personal service. The room was comfortable, had everything we needed and more, and very quiet. We will stay here again if we need to be in LA.

The room is nice and clean, concierges on shift greet us each time we are in and out of the hotel; and ask about our stays if we need anything. The location is very convenient right at Westwood Village closed to UCLA.

Absolutely beautiful and clean. Walking distance to several places to eat!

Nice boutique style hotel in a great area.
I’ve have stayed her a few times already for business and meetings nearby. This would also be a great place for families visiting UCLA as well.
Such a great location for walking to coffee shops and restaurants. Also a very close grocery store, movie theatre, and museum. No need to walk across busy streets! No need to even drive!
You do pay for parking, which isn’t cheap, however, this is not unusual for L.A. The parking is gated and underground, which is very convenient and safe. Rooms are spacious and very nice, with larger than the tiny fridges you’re used to seeing, microwave, keurig, dishwasher, and dishes.
Staff is incredibly friendly and communicative. Laundry facility is on site. No restaurant on site, however, see comments above.
