The hotel staff are really friendly and polite, the hotel is nice and quiet. The rooms are comfortable and plus the hotel food is amazing! We would definitely stay at Savoy hotel again!

Savoy is in Newcoast area 10 o 15 mins away from Station 1 to 3 where the main actions are. Ideal if you want a quieter stay but near enough to the stations. It’s got its nice private beach. Make sure you book your free shuttle to and from town well in advance as it can get full quickly. Private ride is Pesos 300 one way via e-trike whether one passenger or 7 passengers per trip. Enjoyed my stay at Savoy and service is excellent.

We arrived to find out that the rooms are very small and cannot fit a family of 4, even though when I booked through Expedia, it looked like everything was fine, they can’t even fit one extra bed in that room, so we ended up booking another room and had to split our family between 2 rooms, and hotel doesn’t have the option of connected rooms. Breakfast was okay, restaurant was very slow, it took more than an hour to get the burgers that we ordered.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are very courteous.

The hotel itself is nice - but with bucket full of issues. The internet connection is absolute trash, so if you plan to work from here like I did - don't. We also faced multiple electricity shutdowns, that lastet long. This naturally affected internet and power usage even more. We experienced no effort from the staff to make it up the issue for us. The staff is having a nice smile and telling that they will fox the issues when asked, but in reality, nothing happens.
Servive in the restaurant is super slow as well.
The hotel area itself with pools and private beach is beautiful.
Overall doen't meet the class and standard Savoy should be anywhere in the world.

Excellent service. Would definitely recommend this place!

It was so hot in the rooms! They have a problem with their aie conditioning systems for the rooms. We have no idea what temp was the coldest but the coldest could barely keep the room bearable.
The staff actually gave us the option to transfer to another room, but it seemed all their rooms had the same problem. Their AC could not cool the room enough. We had to ask for a fan to be placed in our room to help cool our room. All the while we thought it was just us who had this issue, but there was another guest complaining about it at the front desk.
They have to fix this AC situation otherwise they will be turning off a lot of guests who go there to relax.

Booked this place online for over 50% discount and what an amazing resort experience it was.
Resort is located about 15-20 mins from downtown Borocay area in a secluded complex. There’s shuttle buses which run from hotel to downtown every hour or so but need to pre book these due to limited seats. But tricycle runs at 300 pesos each way.
Room was immaculate and new, nothing to complain but make sure to speak to reception if housekeeping hasn’t visited yet in the afternoon, as we had two days with this experience (only the negative issue).
Beach is secluded too and is only 5-10 mins walk down the path and it’s clean, plenty of eateries and absolutely no vendors coming around every second.
Pool area at the resort was clean and modern and plenty of places to lounge around in the sun. There’s also 7/11 convenience store selling everything you need including booze and 24 peso ice cream cone!!!
Recommend this resort to anyone visiting Borocay!!

I stayed here for 4 days.
I must stay only in this hotel when I visit to Boracay again.
1. beautiful private beach by walk (13mins)
2. Lots of free activities and shuttle service to D'mall
3. Friendly and nice staff
Weak point (But, strong point is beyond the weak point)

I liked that it was far from the strip. The area was generally quiet and the beach is fairly secluded. You only share with other residents and hotel guests instead of the strip beach where you share with the public. The hotel was nice and clean and the staff were great. The town is about a 15-20 min ride if you want to explore. The hotel also has a nice spa. I stayed here with family and overall we had a pleasant stay. Lastly, you’re prone to mosquito bites, definitely bring bug spray if you plan to be outside at any point. Nothing to do with the hotel, that’s just how it is being in a tropical island.

The people who worked their are very nice and helpful. That’s the only strength this Hotel have. Shuttle service always delayed and not enough to accommodate all the guest. Feel like you are in a Market with the amount of people. Screaming and yelling in the hallway even in the middle of the night. We will not be coming back to this hotel anymore.

The beach was dirty, even saw a diaper and broken bottles. It needs to be cleaned. Otherwise, the hotel was great. Breakfast was served on two floors, food was delicious, bed was comfortable. They had events every night by the swimming pool. My only problem is mosquitoes loved to bite me and they’re all over the place.

We absolutely can’t fault the staff here. They went above and beyond to help us out. They made us vegetarian food for breakfast. Packed us sandwiches for when we had to leave early. They were always smiling and helpful. The hotel itself was good but so much building work going on around the hotel with new hotels going in next door and the roads to get to the hotel were ripped up. It was like being on a building site. It is an 8 minute walk to the beach past building works. Hotel was good but island of Boracay will hopefully be better in few years when the building has stopped and infrastructure is better.

Overall, the hotel is comfortable to stay in. It offers a private white sandy beach just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Breakfast buffet was delicious. The pool was refreshing. The shuttle service to station 2 of Boracay and back to the hotel was a god-send. The majority of the staff were genuinely eager to please their guests from what I have seen and experienced; however, one staff from transportation seemed irritated that they were working in front of Jolibee and one from the front desk during my checkout totally forgot to inform me that my checkout was cleared. The front office clerk had stated that the normal checkout process was 10 mins long. He offered me a survey to complete whilst I patiently waited for the 10 mins to pass. After the 10 mins had passed, the gentleman (but seemed more like a lady to me) who processed my checkout was no where to be found and totally forgot about my checkout, so I inquisitively asked another front office clerk about it to which the “all clear” was rendered within seconds of my inquiry. The front office clerk offered his apologies wholeheartedly for my wasted time. A few bad apples don’t necessarily ruin a stay. I will gladly make another try at Savoy. Guests can be loud but everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. If staying at Savoy, please understand that check-in time is not upon your arrival before 3pm. Guests must wait for the check-in time to ensure the rooms are ready especially when they are busy.

Best service ever from checking in to checking out. Beautiful hotel inside and outside. Rooms are large and clean. Loved the balcony. Restaurant was excellent. And the staff at the restaurant was excellent as well Especially Kim who brought us lunch and dinner by the pool. His service was out standing. Always greeted us by name and seemed to always be there for our every need. Excellent employee. Only negative was a little far from town. But we were always welcomed in the lobby and within minutes had our cab and were off to town. Our stay of 6 nights went by too quickly. I will be back.

I love this hotel! The staff are nice and accommodating. New Coast is a breathe of fresh air away from the seemingly busy and chaotic streets near the white beach (currently undergoing renovations for road widening). I love that they offer free activities to their guests such as the zumba, biking, aqua aerobics and kayaking in cove 2 which we happily attended. My only complaint is the foul odor in the restroom (problem with the drainage I guess?) The Hotel needs to address this. Thank you Savoy hotel. Me and my husband enjoyed our stay ♥️

i love the healthy well prepared breakfast, private beach, cleanliness, staffs are helpful with a smile, reliable, experienced, provides options & suggestions to every concerns (special mention Mitch & Brylle from the front desk; Joy from the daily activities, Kim server, & all kitchen staff always ready to serve)(towels & pool staff are helpful)(beach personnel are reliable)I wish they will continue to take care the beauty & cleanliness of the beach, & also the relaxing hospitality experience. In my pax, 1 had bad experience with rude & disgusting guest, but the staff have to deal with them every single time (i feel bad for the staff).

The best part of this property was the friendly staff and the white sand & blue water of the private beach. Outside of these 2 things, our stay at Savoy was like a death by a thousand cuts. Not one thing was overwhelmingly horrible (ok maybe the sewage smell in the bathrooms) but everything at every turn seemed to miss the mark.
Let me give you a few examples:
WiFi is free but completely unreliable - I’m not here to enjoy the WiFi but when I need to take business calls I expect to be able to without disruption.
Beach is nice but chairs must be within a certain area, clustered together like a bus station. The pictures on their website of bean bags right by the water or the couple alone between the palm trees - you can forget that. You can also pack your own water, food and drinks because that service is unreliable too.
The pool is much smaller than the pictures, with very few chairs for the size of the property. You can also expect blaring music at all times.
Service is friendly but extremely slow. Have to call multiple times & follow up. Several of our orders (restaurant or room) came out incorrect or missing items.
When it comes to the room, it’s pretty generic and just fine. The bathroom however smells of sewage any time you run the water (toilet, sink, shower). The AC cuts in and out - we woke up sweating. We were told it may be out for 24-48hrs.
We came to relax and every interaction at Savoy was uneccesarily irritating. Please avoid.
