It was a comfy room, tired furniture but functional. No remote for the TV but press the tv buttons and it worked all channels on, suppose it stops you being lazy lying in bed zapping. Shower works fine and plenty of on site parking.

This hotel is so outdated an run down, it stinks of smoke, the furniture and fittings are disgusting and grimy. I would not stay on this hotel again.

Nothing to say. Don’t stay here the bed mattress is shocking. Lift doesn’t work.

The hotel didn't have my booking, not sure if that was their fault or hotels.com so we had difficulty in checking in and were lucky a room was available. The area wasn't good, quite rough. Hotel rooms weren't sound damped, could hear every little noise from other rooms and the bed was uncomfortable and creaked a lot. TV in the room didn't work so we couldn't even drown out the noise with that. Ended up checking out and going home without staying the night

The rooms are falling apart, smell and the first room we had no hot water, I told reception and I was told to run the tap a while and see what happens, I explained I had been trying for 10 minutes but there was no water at all. He then came up 15 mins later to run the taps for 5 mins, seeing for himself there was in fact no water. A further 30 mins for a room change. Rooms are completely damaged and need knocking down

Hotel staff were friendly and approachable and the room was reasonably clean. The room had a fridge which was nice to have. The lighting in the room could be better as some of the lights did not switch on. There were some issues with the bathroom taps. They should be replaced as the tap water came out at a low pressure. The bathroom was the worst part of the hotel room.

Good bar and restaurant
Lifts broken, fire alarm 4 times in the night, smell of smoking inside building,

The room had weird unhealthy smell as well as buzzing Sound coming from bathroom. I couldn’t sleep all night due to that sound and smell combination. There was also a fire alarm went off at 4am and ruined the sleep. I couldn’t sleep after that.

We needed photos ID to get in the hotel never been asked for a photo for a hotel in my life. The receptionist was rude. The room was disgusting. It was flea ridden and all the residents seem to party all night long. It was like a halfway house for criminals
1.0
Rude receptionist, room need some serious upgrading, full of people that looked like homeless. Wanted a hotel. Not a hostel should know there was something wrong

The hotel was ok to sleep in but the hotel is in a poor condition and the elevator wasn’t working. The room was clean(ish) but the bed was at the end of its life. Overall you can stay and sleep in but don’t expect too much more. Staff were nice.

Disappointed with the hotel. Room was dirty. Carpet threadbare and vinyl floor in the bathroom was damaged and dirty. Very run down. Bathroom sink area had so much damage to the surface that the chipboard was exposed. Worst hotel that I have ever stayed in.

Clean room, quite basic, lift wasn’t working, also couldn’t check in without photo ID

Needed somewhere to stay while sorting a van, first impressions were not great the hotel lacks a friendly welcome and the decor is a bit rough, The room was a good size with a double and a large single there is a fridge, tv, wall heater and kettle, Hot drinks in sachets are supplied along with portions of milk, beds were clean but had seen better days regarding comfort, There is secondary double glazing which is full of condensation by the morning, The worst part is the bathroom although functional the basin and toilet had large cracks in them, The bath had been painted with what appeared to be emulsion paint which was flaking off all over, Lots of hot water two rough towels and a pump bottle of some kind of soap is provided, All in all it is a little grubby and dated and the receptionist was cold and unwelcoming but for £45 for a saturday night it was acceptable.

Not the warmest of welcomes from staff. Felt uneased upon checking in as id is all looked at and wrote down at reception.
Lift was out of order, got up to room, not the warmest as the window was left open. Mirror cracked, toilet seat very loose, I mentioned it to receptionist who didnt know about it. The bed, very low and very uncomfortable.
I did not stay the night, the room overall felt very out dated, bleak and not comfortable.
Sorry for leaving a rubbish review.

The staff are friendly and welcoming but the hotel looks outdated and the rooms as well.

Wont use this hotel again

The bed was comfortable is about the only positive experience I could mention. The negatives would include the very loud aircon system outside my window, the out of service lift (I was on the top floor), the years of neglect visible over the entire hotel, the smell of damp, the general atmosphere of a detention centre, but it was very cheap, so it wasn't a total surprise.

Very poor quality, very noisy while place looked very tired, but I guess you get what you pay for. Wont be staying there again

Awful hotel, noisy till early hours of morning.
Evening customer service was poor.
Rooms very basic, dirty laundry on the landing areas

The photos that are on your website are nothing to what you are met with at the hotel. The hotel would not even pass for a hostel. When I arrived at the hotel reception some one that had come from the bar next door was asleep in the foyer recovering from an afternoon of heavy drinking. The room was terrible and with mold n the windows and walls and paper pealing from the walls. The only plus side to this hotel was the water was hot in the bathroom.

Very Very dirty, messy toilet and broken window. Rude staff and very unsafe.

i had to get my key card charged each day floor 3 and a broken lift, this hotel seemed to be for homeless and reformed addicts, broken mirror in my room and the mattress had no springs, i noticed my luggage had been searched whilst i was at work although there were nothing to steal this is not right.
i wont be staying here again.

The hotel was warm, old and quite grotty.
The rooms albeit non smoking were remaking of stale cigarettes.
The place had the feel of a run down neighbourhood. There was a member of staff and a guest arguing loudly.. it was quite embarrassing.
The tap came off in my hands, and it was not a pleasant sleep on the far too used bed.
I paid £55 for this room. It all reality I would not have paid £20.
If you are looking for a very cheap looking hotel then this will be it.

This is a very outdated hotel the decor and condition of the hotel was very poor bathe pictures showed the hotel when booking very miss leading very upset to find out it’s being used for asylum seekers and paying guests alike declined to stay there as was expected to stay in a room on the top floor and the lift was out of order and am unable to use stairs

Not made aware that photo ID was necessary on check in. Luckily my partner had theirs with them.

Check in surprised me as we all needed photographic ID. . Good job we had it! Booked 2 rooms and they couldn’t be more different. My room was knackered and needed a face lift. Was clean but mega hot. The other room seemed cooler and much better

I have received a parking ticket for the se of the car park. I was not sure informed when booking in that I needed to register the car ann no d did mot notice until the following day. Upon returning home. Have received a parking ticket and when I informed that I was a resident there they informed the ticket stood and I needed to pay the fine. I feel this is unacceptable behaviour you can see I was booked in however none I have to pay another £100 due to not being informed about parking registration. Disgusting.

Staff on reception really helpful and polite, rooms very basic and old fashioned, in desperate need of decorating, Electric wires poking through the wall with just tape over them.
