Average overall. The room was clean. We didn’t find the beds or pillows to be that comfortable, and could hear the noise of traffic from the highway which made it hard to sleep. We frequently stop for the night in Hays s as it is a midpoint for a common trip. Next time I will try to remember to book a place that is a little further way from the highway to reduce the noise.

The problem is that hotels.com doesn't give you complete information. I booked a pet-friendly room to find out later that my dog was over 30 lbs. so she couldn't stay.

Super clean hotel with nice staff. Downside-Beds were very hard and the breakfast was not good at all.

The front sofa bed, when extended out, tightly touched the front of the king bed, and this left zero room to maneuver around it. I had to climb over my wife to use the bathroom. Easily the smallest hotel room we've ever stayed in. The pics are deceiving, this is not a suit. The shower was more spacious than the rest of the room itself, no kidding. The TV was too slow to use; Netflix wouldn't play shows. Plus, due to the lack of space, the TV was awkwardly placed on the wall next to the bed instead of in front of the bed like most places. We requested four extra pillows (we were three people) but got only two extra due to hotel policy. The beds were firm and uncomfortable and none of us slept well. The breakfast was equally, if not more, disappointing. Anywhere else would have been preferable.

Excellent hot breakfast. Nice rooms. Comfortable bed. Only complaint when you pull the hide a bed out it takes all the space in the room. You cannot walk at the end of the bed or at the end of the hide a bed. No space. Only complaint.

Nice place to stay in Hays. Stayed next door at another hotel a few times and had a miserable experience. Definitely recommend TownePlace

This property has been my family's evening stopover for many years on the way to and/or from Colorado. For us, it has been strictly and stop and sleep hotel. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are convenient and very clean. Breakfast is ok and does the trick, but oftentimes we simply grab a bite in the morning at ihop next door. Other dining options are close and convenient. I will continue to stay here.

The room was great! Bed very comfy & clean. We did expect the breakfast to be a little better, not good choice of food, would have been nice to have biscuits & gravy or waffles as options too. Our eggs & bacon were cold.

The room was nice but the breakfast was lacking!! No biscuits and gravy as on most hotel breakfast and little to choose from! Also a $40.00 hold was put on my card “in case” and as yet to come off!!

Terrible, slow, single elevator for 3 floors of rooms above ground level. Poor construction that conducts sound worse than other similar hotels. Bad climate control and ventilation in room. Cheap mattresses. Will never stay at a TownePlace on the road ever again. Others like Hampton in much better in every way.

I liked getting a suite layout with a good kitchenette. I did not like the mattress that was lumpy and caving in, or the unreliable car charger.

Great place to stay when traveling through Hays. I was surprised by the $50 charge to have a pet with you. This should be stated on the hotel.com fees since you can’t get a refund and go somewhere else.

Unfortunately our car was keyed during the night. I called back to ask about cameras and they have none. Then the person I talked to said her car was also keyed in the parking lot

Property was well cared for, unfortunately, the room was tight, and reservation information didn’t indicate that particular hotel didn’t except cats

Very clean room. Comfortable beds, excellent kitchen area with everything you would need to prepare a meal. Great pool. Breakfast was very good with lots of healthy options. Every employee was friendly and helpful! My only complaint was the low water pressure in the shower. Will definitely stay here again!
