Check in was very fast and easy. The check staff are AMAZING. We arrived 2.5 hrs earlier than the actual check in arrival time and they were so accommodating and found us a room immediately, so we could check in earlier and didn’t have to wait until 2pm. We checked out at 3am in the morning and there was a friendly face at the front desk to ask if we need assistance with cabs to the airport and ask how our trip was. It was our first stay here and we will be back again. Great location & awesome staff.

Nice sized and quality room, quiet but close to Southbank and cultural precinct. Good value for money. Great for our weekend break.

We had booked another unit at Morgan Suites that was not to our standards. Etc musty smell. I went on Hotels.com again and found this hotel nearby and booked it. It’s something I should have done at the beginning.

Beautiful food, great room and staff but limited parking

Great location, quick walk to south bank streets beach. Buffet breakfast had a good variety. Rooms were lovely. Parking charges expensive especially when already paying quite a lot to stay. Parking spots very small, not a lot of space to get in and out of your doors. Pool and gym good. Most staff were excellent.

We were pleasantly surprised by Novotel, we have never stayed at a Novotel before so was not sure what to expect. The room was lovely and spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the hotel was very quite. We were staying there for a visit to the theatre so the location was great as it was in walking distance. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent service from all staff. Facilities are great (our tv was a bit dodgy but not a huge issue for us). This was our second stay here and loved it again.

On check in I wanted a car park knowing it was $35. I was told there were no spaces. Only disabled spots. When i checked out the car park there were only about half a dozen cars parked with probably 30 spare. Same again later. Not happy with that.

Such a great location and room. Very affordable stay as well, we had the breakfast included which was lovely, and the staff were great. Would definitely stay here again!

Staff at reception were helpful. Room was clean. Overall it was a good experience staying at the hotel. Only flaw was coffee tea sugar and milk was not replenished.

First time at this hotel. Definitely would stay here again. Staff were efficient and polite. Rooms are spotless. Good choice of breakfast items. Overall, an excellent stay. Location close to amenities at South Bank which was a bonus.

Staff were wonderful. My three children loves getting the activity pack on checkin. Rooms clean, modern and well stocked.
Pool area nice. We were very lucky to have free ice cream handed out in the afternoon during our stay.
Only down fall is not enough on site parking. Parking isn’t far but when you’ve got several bags and children it can be a bit inconvenient.

Had a lovely time. Was very convenient to South Bank so lots of options for restaurants and shopping.

It is a lovely place to stay. Clean, and beds were comfy. We didn't use the pool/gym facilities so can't really comment on those. The hotel is close to a lot of things in the South Bank area. One small issue, it would be really great to access to parking onsite for all guests.

Very close to rail station. In wallking distance to Convention Centre, Qpac and restaurants. Bar and dining on premises. Friendly and helpful staff.

Bathroom layout was unusual and did not provide privacy from other guest staying with me.

Upon checking in, I was informed that your car park was full.
I had driven for 3 hours and wanted my bags collected from my car and an undercover, secure car park for my car.
Instead, I had to deposit my children and bags in the reception and then drive a block away to the Convention Centre Car Park and walk back to the hotel in the pouring rain.
I would be fine with that if it was a cheap motel but I expect better from a $450 p/night hotel.
The check in girl (Ash) couldn’t have cared less.
Upon checkout the next day, I had to leave children and bags in reception while I walked a block away to retrieve my car and drive back to the hotel.
If I had be forewarned, I would’ve booked the nearby Rydges Hotel and had an obliging concierge collect my bags and arrange valet parking for my car for the same Tarif.
Lesson learned.
I will never return to The Novotel

I stayed at Novotel as i went to a show at QPAC. It was so close and convenient. I felt safe walking back on my own at 11pm at night.
