I liked the staff. The food wasn’t bad but those are the only positive things I can say about this property. AC does not work. Sheets and towels are old and discolored.. bugs in rooms. Just overall a 2 star property. Very disappointing.

The air conditioning does not get cold so the rooms are hot, the staff is nice. The management is terrible and they don't care about your concerns nor will they compensate once they got your money. I booked 16 rooms and hardly non of our rooms ac worked properly and it was very hot that we couldn't sleep. The management will lie to you and they won't compensate you for their mistakes. It took 2 days to get into the rooms we paid an extra $600 per room to upgrade to the premium side which is not worth it. My son and his wife took my grandkids to another hotel because nothing in their room worked and we had to keep the babies food and milk inmy daughter's room because they never fixed the refrigerator. The management did not cate to solve any problems and was upset and had attitudes that we even came to complain about our situations after spending almost $20,000.00 for our group of 21 people and 16 rooms. Once thry have your money they don't care. The food is not good, most of us were constantly running to the bathroom for 2 days straight after eating the food. The restaurant food was good if you can get a reservation. The management promised us reservations at the Japanese restaurant and we took 21 people their and the restaurant said he never called them to make a reservation for our group we all got dressed up for nothing, only to be turned away The management at the Japanese restaurant felt bad so they got us in the following night. I was Impressed! I booked this property last minute and was not sure what to expect but I’m happy I did. The resort has tons to do, the grounds are beautiful, the staff is lovely, the beach is perfect. The food was great. I have stayed in other resorts so I can say it was not as impressive as others but was still beautiful none the less. I rate this place a 7/10. We had a minor hiccup along the way with floor cleanliness in the room and the staff was quick to address it. I loved all of the activities including the foam party, spa day, all white party, fire show, and others. Check the calendar for the week and get involved. Main pool was not my most favorite layout but it was still enjoyable. Also, don’t forget to take care of your staff with tips, they take care of you much better. Enjoy your stay!

The food was great....however, it was warm but never hot of the press. Drinks were not frozen daiquries it was more like daiqurie mix with ice cubes. The people in blue shirts tryi to have you upgrade or sell you time shares which was NOT appealing at all. It was annoying...when I say no, I mean no, I am not meeting you for breakfast in the morning and wasting my vacation day to listen to any of it. There was not much to do at this hotel if your looking for daily activites.

I had read some reviews on Expedia prior to my stay at “impressive Punta Cana” most of them were really negative. All I can say is you have to experience it for yourself & be your own critic. As we all have different standards. Checking in was ok, the representative did try to sell us a upgrade of rooms & premium package that was $700.00 US dollars. We declined, she kept trying to sell us the premium a few times which was too much for us, just arriving from a 20hr trip to get to Punta Cana. The last thing we wanted to do was be sold anything. We just wanted a fast check in and our rooms. They did greet us with yummy drinks! Our room had this weird smell to it. It smelled like the furniture had been wet and the smell that stays lingering after it drys off. The shower head & shower door need a lot of work too. The shower head is not flexible and the shower door did not give coverage for the water. So we definitely needed extra towels as the floor got really wet. Other than that the room was cleaned everyday, housekeeping was really nice & professional. The buffet was delicious! They know how to season their meats! I wish they did have more Dominican dishes available. The staff were friendly and professional. We really appreciated “keidi, Luz & David”. The pools were clean & neat, drinks were delicious & beach was lovely! I would stay at this resort again and I thank all of the lovely staff that made our stay a great time!

Too much pressure to pay for upgrade at check-in. No towels in our ‘premium’ room. Couldn’t reach anyone so had to actually go to
Front desk to ask for towels. After a couple days our bottom bed sheet came untucked, and we found blood drops and smears on the mattress cover. The pillows didn’t fit inside the covers, so we were laying on pillows without a fresh cover.
There was some kind of splat under our sink that I didn’t get close enough to to figure out what it was. I tried several times to reach anyone and the phones were either busy tone or it rang and rang with no answer. Could not reach anyone at either regular or premium desks at all.

I didnt like tha you use photos from the whole hotel and I expected to use all facilities showed in the photos and once in the hotel i found that have to pay y aditional for the use of some facilities. My desicion was made by the photos but i can't gp there.

Property was clean and taken care of, staff was very friendly Cruz at pool bar makes a wonderful Long Island! 🍹 Roberson, our resort salesman was wonderful and very helpful. Mercedes our room butler made sure my coffee was brought to our room every morning and made sure our needs were meet every day. The food at the restaurants were very good, but the buffet has much to be desired. We have a very nice stay, because of the people. Bed was very hard.

Don’t waste your money and vacation here.you book for all inclusive but when you check in you need to pay extra $$$ to be real all inclusive and have access to all restaurants and pools.

Nothing about this resort was Impressive! Our TV stopped working, the A/C didn’t work, the towels were dingy looking & the food was NOT GOOD! We weren’t able to eat at ANY of the restaurants without a reservation. We were on excursions most of the day, so we couldn’t make any reservations for dinner (you had to reserve at 9am each day for whatever time). The people harass you about EVERYTHING! They ask if you want to sign up for Time shares or trying to get you to purchase souvenirs. Super annoying!

The grounds were impeccable and the staff were awesome! Never had a problem getting a chair on the beach. Restaurants had great options.
Aside from a very strong attempt to try and get us to upgrade our stay at check-in, all else was great!

I didn't appreciate as soon as i get there, I'm scheduled a presentation to purchase a vacation club package(like a timeshare presentation, an hour lecture and pressure to purchase an expensive vacation discount website package)
Then I was asked if I wanted to upgrade to premium member at the resort for a fee, I upgraded but received no significant upgrades. I was told i would have Nespresso coffee in my room, showed up AFTER I asked about it and let them know i wanted a refund for said package. I was told i would have a butler to make reservations to the restaurants in property, and that didn't happen until i complained no one had contacted me. "Butler" finally came to room and asked what i wanted, i stated pretty much any restaurant beside the Mediterranean would be fine. "Butler FINALLY used whatsapp to contact me after 11pm to let me know he made reservations but could only do it at the ONLY one I said i didn't want, never heard from him again.
I went down in day 3 mind you Day 1 was checking at 6pm and Day 2 i had to call and compassion about the Butler, so went 9am Day 3 to inform them they lied to me and i didn't get what I was told for the premium package upgrade & asked for a refund, resort REFUSED!
I would NEVER recommend this place and if you do stay her, just get basic package, they are just trying to get a much money they can fit little effort. The have Cafe that serves free coffee & is easier making your own reservations if you don’t have prem membership

Everything was great except for the vendors and some of the male employees at the resort.
The vendors are the main issue we had at the resort. It was frustrating that we upgraded to Premium, yet we had this issue with the male vendors on the Premium side. They are way too pushy with customers and also, they should not be touching anyone. We filed a complaint with the manager on the Premium side, and he was able to get us a bellboy to drive us around that evening (since there were more vendors on-campus) to dinner and back to our room after.
We had issues at our On the Grill reservation with the male waiters, so were harassing us while we had dinner. ere were many other male waiters that approached our table and even one of them sat down with us (his name was Lenny), and started asking us questions about who we were traveling with, if we were alone, if we had boyfriends, etc. Lenny specifically asked one of the other waiters, "Which one do you want?" to which I told him that we were not objects and that we both had boyfriends. After we said that, the other waiter said, "But the boyfriends are not here." After this interaction, we left and we were incredibly frustrated and annoyed with this experience. It was the only reservation we were able to make for dinner and the only night we got an a la carte dinner experience, which was ruined by the inappropriate male waiters.

I was disappointed with the lazy and unwilling to serve you and make you happy staff and management. The worst service I’ve ever had. Property is located near creepy, abandoned, construction buildings. Locals live near by and you won’t feel secure and safe at all.
Money was stolen from my son’s room with only cleaning maids having access to his room and management and security guys did not do anything about it.
Rooms have strong moldy smell and when you complain, they give you another room that has even worse smell.
On the beach there is tons of seaweed everywhere. You will watch and listen to workers with tractors and wheel barrels every day, trying to clean it for hours and it still going to be impossible to go in the water and to enjoy the beach.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!! Nothing is impressive about these hotel! They are trying to upgrade everyone to premium if you don’t you CAN NOT USE ANY OF RESTURANTS AND THE BUFFET TEST LIKE S**T, also you CAN NOT DRINK GOOD ALCOHOLIC DRINKS THEY SERVE YOU WITH CHEAP WHISKEY,….!! Me and my 2 years old daughter were coughing all 5 nights because of so much black mold being in room and hallway!! STAYED 5 DAYS AND BEACH was open only 2 Days. Jacuzzi was cold!! When I asked they said it’s been like this for 5 years!! Pools are extremely cold. TOO OF EVERYTHING ITS SUPER CROWDED, THER IS LONG LINE FOR EVERYTHING BAR, BUFFET, COFFEE SHOP AND BELIEVE ME NO CHAIR TO SEAT AND RELAX!!
IF YOU RESPECT YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME YOU WILL NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE TO STAY IN THIS HOTEL!! I’d rather to stay at super8!!!

When we checked in we paid for a upgrade of £500, we were told we’d have a butler 10am-10 pm, access to quieter pool and bar.We never met our 1st butler he never answered phone, then 2days in butler number 2 , he lasted 3days I complained we didn’t have a butler and was introduced to 3rd butler who lasted a day , apparently they all left. There was no alcohol in the mini bar in the room. When you wanted to make a reservation for a restaurant , you waited over an hour and if you were unlucky, you had to come back next day and queue all over again.I caught Norah virus , so did other hotel guests. Apart from the Japanese restaurant , the other restaurants never served there food hot. On some occasions you couldn’t get towels for the pool….There’s nothing Impressive with this hotel,

Long check in process. Bathtub had a huge crack in it. My daughter did not want to use it because it was so nasty. No towels. Had to ask for every single thing to be brought to the room (things that should have already been there). Not enough shaded area at pool. Pool was dirty. Restaurants had little variety. Service was dismal. Had to chase someone for water to be brought to table. Hotel was not impressive as the name suggests. Will not stay here again.
