Typical Marston's edge of town pub with rooms - will suite travellers working/visiting Spalding or the surrounding area. Very new, so very clean. Reasonably priced room, pub prices were typical Marston's prices.

We stayed as we were attending a family reunion in the area. Our daughter and family were also staying and we had family rooms which were spacious and clean with comfortable beds for all. Breakfast was separately taken in the adjoining inn and was excellent value for money - and freshy cooked!!

Good for work, cmose to main roads and the pub attached actually serves half decent food.

A family stay to see friends, no plug in the bath, 3rd bed missing and unmade, lack of towels, but it was clean and easy to find with free parking on site with ample of room

A comfortable, clean room and staff were very helpful

Lovely room with a walk in shower would have liked a plug for the hand basin - water economy.

The sleeping area we had no complaints about.
The food and bar area were dirty, we also saw a rat on the Thursday night outside the front door to the bar area

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. The hotel was very clean and beds were comfortable. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was freshly cooked. Very pleased with our stay and we will be definitely staying again.

Modern, clean, comfortable, food options readily available. Everything I need for a short stay.
6.0
No bath mat to take a shower, which made it difficult for the older person. The corridors smelt slightly. The room was cosy enough.

Overall, perfect for a business stay, with good quality food and a comfortable clean quiet room. No complaints.

The member of staff on arrival was lovely but the one serving breakfast was sullen and although not quite rude but her attitude was that we were too much trouble for her.The breakfast wasn't as good as other Marston's I've been to with a hard poached egg.

Only problem was evening meal did not turn up on time for taxi

I had my reservations about the hotel having read some negative reviews.
I am a hotel Snob... & I was very pleased with the hotel.
The restaurant was manic, but it was Burghley Horse Trials weekend.
The food was good, typical Carvery, Harvester, Beefeater type place.
The staff were very friendly.
I had a ground floor double that backed onto the main road, my friends had twin rooms on either side of the corridor, also ground floor
We all slept like babies.
The beds were extremely comfortable, and the blackout curtains made the rooms very comfortable.
TV,, Tea & Coffee,, hairdryer, Towels all provided.
I would DEFINITELY recommend the hotel
There is a fuel station across the carpark, with Costa Coffee & Greggs bakery, so if you don't fancy the Marston's breakfast, you can grab a croissant & coffee on the way out

Had a problem that the staff where very understanding about and dealt with in a very professional manner they went above and beyond and couldn’t have done anything more to solve or resolve the issue.

Standard accommodation but no reception as it’s in the pub opposite so very noisy when people came back late at night and was noisy one night until 1pm.
The rooms were clean but designed more for business then leisure stays

Two overnight stays. Needed good routes to family close by. Check in swift. Very friendly staff. Process using simple card access to room. Room, good size, smelled clean. Crisp white linen on beds. Nice towels. Clean bathroom. tea/coffeee/biscuits. TV. WiFi. Meals in pub 40 yards away. Excellent parking. Petrol station nearby. Sorted.

The only thing that was a little disturbing was the Rat in the seated area outside. Not the best advert for the Hotel.

I stayed at this property for the first time, as a half way point for a journey to York. i was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the property, which included air con. The rooms are similar design to other companies in a similar price range. However, in my opinion, more comfortable. I was in an accessible room, and despite this, there was plenty of room around the bed, which i have found cramped in other accessible rooms. The staff were very welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. I had family who visited me whilst i was staying, and we had dinner in the on site bar/restaurant. They were also pleased with the quality of the food and venue. Visited Baytree Garden Centre, Springfields outlet shopping venue and Vine House farm during my stay, plenty of things to do, within a short car travel distance. Perfect stay, and would have no hesitation in staying again in the future.

It was clean and we had a good nights sleep. But after having an evening meal in the pub we decided to get breakfast somewhere else

Excellent accommodation, Pub offered something for everybody as affordable prices. Considering its position it was absolutely heaving - and on a Monday!!! Special praise to the staff on both Monday and again on Tuesday morning. We had a problem with the car and without their very valuable help this elderly couple Vermay never have got it sorted.

The property was clean and tidy and there was ample parking though I was surprised that such a modern place had no electric car charger. Breakfast was disappointing and we had to wait 35 minutes for it to be served. Asked for runny eggs but they were like rubber. I would have sent it back but we were running late for an appointment.
2.0
Good for a few nights stay as good value with no thrills basic accommodation.
No complaints and quiet enough to get a good nights sleep.
