A bar at the ground floor of this hotel. Extremely Noisy at night which disturb my sleep
4.0
The biggest problem was the absence of an elevator and the second was the noise of construction. One should not rent out rooms in a construction zone of the building.
The rooms are small and the beds are loaded with static. In the night you see sparks all over the bed due to static of the bedware, linnen etc…

Staff was very friendly and courteous.

All good except the fact that there is elevator. That is a real disadvantage for guests. Relying on a person to take lugage up and down is not an option.

The staff was very friendly and the food was awesome along with a very welcoming environment. Will definitely be returning.

I had talked to the hotel by phone and text about 3 times to verify if they would have a shuttle to pick me up at the airport at 2am. They stated that the shuttle would be there and asked for the flight number. I asked them how would I know who there driver was and they stated he would be holding a hotel sign. US Embassy had stated that Guyana was rated 3 out of 5 for danger so I wanted to make sure I had a shuttle and wouldn't be robbed and killed. They stated it would be $70 USD for the shuttle which I agreed to. I arrived and walked out of the airport and there was no hotel shuttle there to pick me up. I called the hotel and they stated that they didn't send anyone to pick me up. Great!! No what am i to do? The hotel staff stated to get a yellow cab (airport cab) but there were no yellow cabs to be seen anywhere. A private taxi operator said he could take me to the hotel and the hotel staff told me if I was ok taking a private cab. Well, I don't really have a choice if I want to get to the hotel. I took the ride and he charged me $50 USD to take me to the hotel. So does the hotel care about their foreign visitors? I don't think so since they couldn't even let me know that they wouldn't be able to supply a hotel shuttle and to make other arrangements. My in-laws stated that they were disappointed to hear that I took a private cab since that is very dangerous and that they could have picked me up. The curry at lunch on Thursday was really good.

Not a real hotel, it’s a motel for people to have moments

Really friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and be eakfast was simple - a bread roll and cheese.

The floor manager was very accommodating, but the evening staff and reception were pretty much clueless as to basic questions on food contents , eating out places and places safe to go in the evening. The tipping mentality is rife. And not consistent.
Cleanliness- basic cleaning was ok but the bed linen were not ironed and frankly had seen better days as were the towels.
We consider that the air conditioner should be upgraded and activated at least 2 hours before guests arrive. Even though there were windows, the curtains were closed, presenting a dingy room which needed a face lift.
The final straw was there was no lift to the various floors.
We hope to not be desperate enough to ever stay at this hotel again.
The last straw was a mouse in the kitchen on the 1st floor- disgusting!

There was construction going on and people checking in late at night was very noisy and woke me up in the middle of the night.

My stay at the Millennium Manor was amazing. I loved the pepperpot for breakfast during pepperpot day. The egg and sausage day was good, but I wish there were different egg choices like plain eggs or plain eggs with cheese. The staff that I interacted with were phenomenal; they were very friendly and polite. The only complaint that I have about the room is the fan needed to be cleaned.

I cant say that I like anything. What I didn't like was the frontdesk service, the rooms had a very nasty smell and the carpet had a humid smell. The hotel had no elevators. The food was terrible and no choices to choose from. On arrival, the first thing that I saw was a fight in front of the hotel. I only stayed one night at this hotel. Frontdesk made it very difficult to get my money back.

The building is a 4 story hotel with no elevator and carrying luggages was a task up and down those stairs.
The hot water didn't work for two off the three days that i stayed there.

I am so sad and sorry i booked this hotel. From the pictures online you would think what a beauty, ine arrived inside i was shocked to see how old the building was, old smell in the halls of pine wood. The doors and wals need maintenance. Once in the room the bed was filty with dirt, stains on the sheets, pillows i would not dear sleep on. I advise them to please work on management of the building and work on cleaning. Hygiene and proffesional work ethics is most important.
Hope they do work on this and improve to higher standards. Wish them well.

I enjoyed the hospitality and customer service at this hotel. The staff members were very professional. Room and bathroom were very clean and updated. The cost of $70 per night was very reasonable for a business trip.
Overall, I would give this hotel 4 stars.

The room was rather dark and worn. Bad smell from the drain in the bathroom. Standard not living up to the price.

Excellent hotel with welcoming staff, clean and delicious breakfast which is included. I will definitely recommend and visit again when I’m in Guyana.

I travel there for work and went I got back that afternoon there was no water. So that means no shower or no bathroom use.
This has also happened to a coworker of mine at the same place.

The property is centrally located in Georgetown so was very convenient but I was just there for the night so I can get to the airport the next morning. The room was ok, the bedding looked old but the best thing about this hotel was the bathroom, it was spacious and clean and there was hot water. If you are staying for a night or 2 this would be a great spot. I booked this the night before on Expedia and even though I provided my credit card info the room was not charged I had to pay at the front desk, and when I checked in they did not have internet connection so they could not process my credit card, luckily I had cash on me and paid. That would have been my only issue. But would stay there again.

When arriving at the hotel to check in, the staff told us the reservation was not paid as the reservation was paid in full by credit card. The staff said Expedia did not pay for the room. Check in took a very long time. Even when showing them the expedia reservation where it said the room was paid for by creditcard with the ending numbers of the card used. very disappointing.

Beyond my expectation. Guest friendly and courteous, friendly staff. Overall extremely pleased with my stay, especially with the personable morning breakfast served by Paulette. She was extremely friendly and constantly asking ‘ what else can I do for you’. Will stay here again. Recommendation: an Elevator would really help to make the stay even better.

Good place to stay and excellent location will definitely stay here again. Excellent service and very friendly staff including the owner. My only negative was no elevator

Great staff, very comfy room, about as good a location as you can get.
