The area around the hotel is great, the hotel itself is small but cosy, it has a very nice bar and very nice beach front. The music is amazing!!! There are plenty of mosquitoes though, so come prepared!

Prperty needs updating, the rooms are very old, the beach is good for surfing, if you are a great swimmer, you will be good, way too many mosquitos, they charge you for drinking water which I think is ridiculous. The security guy Joel is very nice and helpful otherwise will not ever book this place again.

Beautiful location on the ocean with a great restaurant and bar. There is a surf school on location too if you want some adventure. A short drive to the downtown area. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty and the nightlife in town.

Property is clean but definitely under staffed. If you’re hungry or thirsty prepare to wait for waiters. Even if you tip ahead, there is no attention to detail. It’s a nice beach bar to hang out for the day or a few hours, but I would not recommend staying here.

Beautiful beachfront hotel, no need to cross a road to get to the beach. Truly beachfront. Great staff, safe, quiet and absolutely beautiful location. Have been a few times now and will continue to go back.

The beach is awesome, the best beach that you will ever visit, this is heaven. The Peruvian food at the restaurant is awesome too. Not a fancy place, it is just that you need to be in contact with the nature.

It's been weeks since I left this property but I specifically wanted to write this review because they truly deserve it. Mosquito Boutique Hotel is absolutely magical! It is by a beautiful beach where you can witness the most incredible sunset. The restaurant on the property has great food and drinks. I read some reviews on here that said the service was slow but that wasn't the case when I was there in March 2023. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms carry the traditional architecture and we loved ours. This is a great place to spend a couple of days to relax or to go on a romantic getaway. I definitely will be back! Thank you Mosquito Boutique Hotel for a great vacation that I will always remember. <3

Our favorite part of our stay was the staff. They were super attentive and worked really hard to make sure nothing was overlooked. The restaurant was awesome as the food was delicious! We tried almost every dish on the menu. The vibe of the hotel is very chill & hip and we loved the DJ on the weekends while we lounged by the ocean. The beach was also very beautiful and lives up to its name! We will definite be back :)

This was a beautiful location right on the beach. The room was beautiful and maintained daily. The property was spectacular. Always clean and inviting. The restaurant and bar were great!!

I loved this hotel. First time in a boutique hotel and loved the experience. Had so much fun. This hotel was so pretty. The staff was great and the food was great. Will return with my children loved that the hotel was very pet friendly.

Great little boutique hotel. It sits on a gorgeous beach and is the kind of place you can feel comfortable in flip flops day or night. The room was a few steps from the restaurant and beach. There is a surf school and rental on-site. The beach was fairly empty during the week and was more busy on the weekend. Food and drinks were a little bit pricey but at the same time very convenient. Vibe was very relaxing. I'm a big dog lover and enjoy pet friendly hotels but some owners let their dogs run totally free and beg at tables at the restaurants. I saw it made some guests uncomfortable. Only negative I saw there.

Everything was perfect, i definitely will come back, the only thing i concern about is that in my reservation said that i was gonna have a wellcome drink which I didn’t receive and forgot to ask for it. But besides that, the staff were very friendly, the room, the view, the food, the service, the people around, the location, etc. i can’t complain about all that cause my stay was very pleasant. Thank you.

Loved this place, will absolutely come back -great food, awesome vibe, perfect surf spot, only problem however was a very loud night for a a short sleep. It sounded like a leaf blower outside my window from about 10:45 pm- 11:30. Interesting timing to do work on the property. The workers voices outside the bathroom the next morning was also quite early. Took this as just as bad timing and hopefully a one off, would still go back to spend more time here! The reception arranged our Covid tests in the room and they were right on time.
