Beautiful hotel and location. I was not pleased with the $49 parking fee and $30 charge for a roll away bed. Since when do you charge for that?

Great place to stay in LA. Close to Venice and Santa Monica, but easy to get to downtown LA, Hollywood, Beverly Hills. Right on the water and very beautiful

The room I booked was studio , 1king bed, non smoking , Terrace through Expedia obviously. The description indicated marina view (which was my intention in booking to view the NYE 2024 fireworks), however , my view was the building next door which seemed to be a condo or apartments. The front desk manager apologized and told me that she would let Expedia know. This was not a cheap room , which I didn’t mind because I wanted my wife and son to enjoy the marina view . Total fail. I hope Expedia dfixss this and compensates me for this extreme fail.

We needed to be close to my surgeon, as I just had surgery and needed to recuperate. Residence Inn was great because the room was cleaned every day and fresh towels. The only thing that would be better is if they had a washer dryer in the unit. Staff was extremely attentive and polite. WE needed to be in the room most of the time, but if we were going to go out for an hour and asked the room to be cleaned then, they were on it. A/C broke down and they fixed it immediately. Nice kitchen, very usable with plenty of pots, pans, knives, forks, plates, glasses,etc.
Overall, very happy with our stay and would come back.

Paid more for a "view" room. Got a room on the 2nd floor with a view of the building across the street. Was told no other room available and was not compensated.

Residence Inn Marna del Rey is a good clean property, rooms are modern and nice. It’s not a cosy place, it has a business vibe to it. Very nice location right on the marina with very good access to a walking path around the marina to walk and look at the amazingly expensive boats there.

After a 5 days in LA we only ended up staying for one night and the only thing we regret is not staying there from the beginning. Great hotel, beautiful location!

My wife and I tested positive for COVID-19 the day of our reservation. We immediately did the responsible thing and called to try to reschedule our reservation for a different day.
The hotel would not consider this and would not even issue a partial credit.
This kind of policy is very poor customer service and encourages people to still use their reservations in cases like this, exposing others to the virus .

Service was friendly but I did have to remind I'd been up since 4am and on a flight. Magic was worked and we were allocated a room shortly after 4pm. The hotel is beautiful. Modern and amazing setting. Beautiful views. Quiet area. Rooms are modern and well equipped (kitchen). Bed so comfortable, bathroom modern. View of marina breath taking. Not many bars / restaurants around in walking distance, drinks at hotel bar we found to be very expensive. We Ubered to a few places. Had some lovely walks in the VB canal area and several walks all the way to Santa Monica. Breakfast is pre packaged due to COVID but plenty to choose from. Lovely views.

It is right on the Marina and minutes away from the beach. Beautiful and clean rooms.

Excellent location - fantastic spot right on the marina - a walk to the beach or great dining and shopping spots in MDR. We spent a month traveling in CA and this was one of our stops.

The hotel area was great but I did not get the room I booked. I booked and paid extra for a balcony and a marina view for our anniversary. Upon checkin, we got balcony room with no view and then were moved to a partial marina view with no balcony. The hotel was out of balcony view rooms so we took that room and a credit but we still didn’t get the room we wanted. All else was good with the stay.

Beautiful hotel and property, but The front hotel staff are rude and lack customer service skills..had a reservation for 4 nights left after the first night.

The Residence Inn was perfect for our staycation getaway. We stayed for a day and it was a fun place to hang out with a friend. The suites are big enough where you can just hang out in the room for the day.
We were no frills so the fact that we didn't have a view for the bay was fine BUT the booking listed the room as having marina view so I would be careful about checking with the hotel to ensure you have a view if you want it.
It was nice to walk around the bay. The bar drinks were great (naturally expensive though) and the restaurant downstairs is convienant.
The reception desk does not answer calls in the morning which was frustrating.
Otherwise, cute spot to hang out and walk around the bay and beach.

Except the view, the room was having issues. Automatic curtains not working, the entry door lack was not reading the key properly because it was broken. I wasn’t happy with the room condition

They said they will change the sheets. We went out to dinner and when we came back we asked the front desk if they were changed, the gentlemen said yes. They told us that someone was already informed to change them earlier and that they were going to come to the room to fix it. Two hours passed and it was already 12am and no one came.

There was not hot water in the shower and they couldn’t move me to a different room they said. It was terrible taking an ice cold shower

It’s new and clean and spacious and in a great location. Our car had a box on top so couldn’t go into the garage, so they kept it in the front. It is $45 extra for valet parking only, but overall we would stay there again. We really appreciated the noon check out tome too!

worst experience ever, We waited a long, long, long (40 minutes) time just to get a key to our room, and this is at 11:30 at night, when we are dead tired, In the morning I Call, we did not get any decent service, I called 10 times in a row, waiting for 10 minutes plus, did not get any answer, not from the service desk, front desk, not from food and restaurant, complementary breakfast was not eatable, had only one choice and they went out of stock halfway before breakfast ended, Imagine, people are walking in, Servant is asking: what do you like for breakfast?What can you serve? What do you have?The answer: Sorry we’re out of almost everything, we only have coffeeAwful experience, Good example of good/polite people and really bad management.
