Great stay

Don't bother staying at the Cambria hotel by the wharf if you were wanting to enjoy the rooftop bar. Rooftop bar is only seasonal & Hotel.com failed to mention that otherwise I would've booked a different hotel.
Completely wasted my money.

Staff was friendly & helpful, location was good for the purpose of my visit - the New England Revolution vs DC United soccer match (the stadium was practically next door), while also being relatively convenient to the National Mall.

Nice & clean smells wonderful ! All staff were very nice, nice location. Love a hotel that locks outside doors, no unwanted visitors. Take advantage of the parking, & restaurant.

Everything about this place was nice and my only complaint would be that there were a lot of hair that resembled a dog out some type of animal on the sitting area near the window. The room was very clean except for that part

I was locked out of my room and no one was on front desk. No one would answer the phones and i was forced to sleep in my car.

55$ valet parking is ridiculous and should be advertised. It is one of the most unsafe car Jack ridden cities in America right now and to charge that much for parking or risk your customers car being stolen or worse mugged shot or killed walking back to where it’s parked is not customer service.

When I first arrived, I experienced excellent and friendly service from the front desk agent and the security personnel.
My room was okay. It was relatively clean, but the desk chair had dust and leftover debris on it, and the toilet didn’t flush, so I called the front desk and asked for a room with a working toilet. I was immediately connected with management and was not only switched to a new room, but I was upgraded to a suite. The suite was lovely and a friendly associate named Kolby came up to assist me with moving my things promptly. I was very happy with the new accommodations and the assistance I received. When I called and requested extra towels the following morning, room service was up within 5 minutes! I’m super happy with the outcome of my stay, and I would stay again. The view from corner suite was mesmerizing!

This was my first time visiting DC and I am very satisfied with my stay. The hotel had a very nice staff and a relaxed atmosphere. It was also extremely easy to get everything situated.

I liked the friendly staff and the quiet area. I don’t like the fact that I’m still waiting for them to refund my deposit from the stay which was a month ago.

It was a quick stay so not much to say but I was told that I would have parking if I signed up for the choice hotels and there was no parking whatsoever

The hotel was nice and the staff were very nice and friendly. The food at the restaurant was also good (but a bit pricey)
The main issue we had was that the whole hotel stunk of weed. Including our room. I don’t know how the management let that happen but it’s such a distracting smell through the whole building. The parking is also 55$ a night unless you can find a spot on the street.

The property is beautiful. Staff is awesome. They get to know you by name. Beautiful view from a corner suite. However, if you fly to DC do not rent a car. Uber or Taxi. There is no parking at the hotel and it costs 65 per night to valet park, and the neighborhood around the hotel is all dilapidated and graffiti everywhere. It seemed safe but there is no near by self parking.

The location of this hotel is awful. It says SW but it gives SE. & the hotel was built right in the middle of the neighborhood. The juxtaposition is alarming. There's no parking around the hotel, to check in I had to run in & out to drop off my stuff. I ended up parking at a friend's house that's 10 mins away because I couldn't risk my car getting broken into. I had no issues with the staff, but the 2/3 security guards that stand at the entrance should tell you everything you need to know about where you're at. Not only that, but the room's entrance fob was broken. So it's just a white piece that looks like it's on the inside of a computer. The lights on the headboard didn't work. The lighting is really bad inside the room as well. There's not enough & the placement of where the lights are makes it hard to put on makeup/get dressed because it's so hard to see the details. I don't think the mini-fridge worked either, every time I opened it, it felt room temperature. I will never go back here.

Pros- Very close to Nats stadium, clean, has a bar/restaurant (although it closed early bc it was slow on Friday night…we had planned to come back after our excursion and eat there, so that was disappointing but we just used door dash).
Cons-the doors slam in the hallways so loud and echo that it literally sounded like a gunshot all night and day. Also, I could hear the people in the next room so clearly I could follow their conversation.
I would personally not stay again because of the noise.

Lack of self parking around the hotel, and the rate for valet seemed to increase from what i was told over the phone. And there were no "drug-store-like" items on the premises, i.e. toothpaste, tyenol, mouthwash, etc...

Did not apreciate having no other options but valet parking at 55$ + taxes...

Overall a great trip to visit family in an apartment that was 2 blocks away. The hotel and our room were very clean. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and the food was very good. We had a great view of the Capitol which was 2 miles away and the Washington Monument. There is only off site valet parking which is $69.90/day. The entire area is a major work zone of new buildings and road work but was fairly quiet on a weekend.

Absolutely love this hotel. Restaurant downstairs is wonderful. Only complaint is parking, $50 for valet every night is a little ridiculous. Get a ticket if you park on the street though, so pick your battles.

Everything!!! Nice area very convenient.

The hotel is good (design, staff, location). The restaurant next door had good food and cocktails. Design is unique and stylish.
The hotel falls short on some final touches to make the experience seamless. For me, there was no soap for washing hands at the bathroom counter and the electric blinds have no obvious instructions or hub to control them.

The property and room was very clean and modern. A welcoming and professional service, easy check in and out. Highly recommended.

Walkable to the museums and the wharf. So close to the river trails and beautiful Frederick Douglas bridge.

pretty average, had to switch rooms and the new room wasn’t super clean. there is construction all around the hotel, so there’s early morning noise. excellent staff, very friendly and helpful!

The rooftop bar and restaurant were closed when we arrived, and that was a main attraction. Then the rooftop bar hours were limited so we missed out on it completely. There was hair in the bathroom and the foot of the bed did not look very clean.

I guess just any hotel can claim to be 4 stars these days?
The bed was comfortable but otherwise I was not satisfied with this place. Half the lights in the room didn't work. The walls were thin enough that I could hear my neighbor watching TV all night, and doors slamming through the night as well. Also very noisy outside. I got very little sleep on the night before a big job (the reason I was in town), so ended up moving hotels the 2nd night.

Deceiving. You will not be allowed to enjoy the rooftop bar, restaurant or most of the areas pictured at all as it is always booked for private events. If you try to quietly enjoy your time on the side like near one of the fires they will ask you to leave. Those events are really REALLY loud with extremely untalented DJs. These private events create constant and annoying crowds in the lobby and the elevators which persist into the late hours of the evening. Stayed here once before last year and it was great, now it’s way more expensive and not worth it. They are focusing on being a venue rather than a hotel. Showerheads are leaky and cheap. Wish I had my money back. Only plus is that it is very close to the nats stadium and Audi field. Would not recommend.
