The stay was exceptionally well the front desk member Kevin was extremely helpful and very pleasant! He made sure I had the correct military rate! Also the janitor was very kind as well!

The AC Hotel by Marriott Tuscaloosa Downtown exceeded my expectation. The front desk staff was very professional and helpful. The room was clean. I felt secure in the building. It was in walking distance to several restaurants. I would stay there again.

Very clean, easy parking and close to downtown and UA campus. Minimalistic-type setting with very comfortable beds, lots of pillows, good towels. Could never get hot water from the sink, hard to get hot water from the shower and unable to fully close the curtain so woke up early from the sun. Main negative was how easily you can hear everything in the hallways from the room. Good coffee options, Hydration station, nice staff. Bar looked good too. Would stay again.

It was incredible. The young man at the front desk by the name of Parishe, was so accommodating and showed us impeccable hospitality. We were in town for a funeral and he made our trip so much better by sharing so much kindness. We will never forget it! Thank you Parishe!

Rooms are clean and modern. Love the extra security with needing a key card to access the elevators. Water/ice and microwave available on our floor was a major convenience. Nice coffee and tea options in the room.

The staff members were extremely nice. I had no issues. The only downfall to this location is the fact that there wasn’t any closet space in the room. Other than that I would recommend this location.

The hotel is newer and looks great. I enjoyed the solid floors and comfortable beds & pillows. The room had slight cleanliness issues but nothing I couldn't look past for a night; dusty, dirt stained shower floor, no ice bag in the first room and no glasses in the second. The trash near the elevator smelled rotten and the ice had a terrible taste. We had to switch rooms after settling in because the air was not working properly. Glad we did though because the second room was on the back side of the hotel overlooking the parking lot and was much quieter than the side overlooking the street. It was fine for a night, quiet and safe.

Surprisingly the floors, the shower, needed maintenance. But location was good for nightlife and river walk. ALABAMA stadium about 1 and half mile walk...doable and better than trying to part.

Rooms not available until 3:00. The staff person truly did her very best to get one for me between 12:30-3:00 but to no avail. I had to get ready for a wedding rehearsal with a friend arriving at 3:30-3:45 to pick me up. I fortunately got the first available room at 3:00 but barely made it in time to be ready by 3:30-3:45. You should keep this in mind to have some rooms available earlier.

First, I want to say the staff at the AC are always amazing, super polite and helpful. I have stayed at this location multiple times. However, this experience was extremely disappointing. The elevators were completely down for well over a day. While taking the stairs was not an inconvenience for me, it would be horrible for someone who was handicapped. The carpets in the hallway (3rd floor) were disgusting. Completed stained and smelly. This location needs some help….

I booked this hotel on Expedia and it was for a king bed and the rate included breakfast. When I got here they gave me a double bed room and told me unfortunately the Expedia rate they gave me did not include breakfast according to them.

Booked a king and was give two queens. I was planning on taking the wife to pound town in the king size bed. Operations had to change due to the smaller bed.

The property itself was fine, we spent the weekend visiting our children who attend the U of A. However, the toilet did not work for 3 days and we didn’t get any help to fix it. Especially after paying the game day rates! Not acceptable since the staff was friendly and helpful but NOT responsive.

Everything was brand new. Lots of safety features. I had to learn that in order to get the elevator to move, I had to first swipe my room key (new to me). The room was so welcoming, very clean, had a rainfall shower as well as a handheld, really cool door to the bathroom, exceptional bedside and a second reading light. I never quite understood how to make the refrigerator cooler and to stay on even though I did ask a staff for help. There were too many buttons to choose from and I found that confusing. It still worked for my purposes. One of our favorite things was that they had free electric charging stations for our hybrid vehicle. That is so rare to find. Restaurants were withing walking distance but because it was a rainy night we chose to eat at the hotel. I could have chosen a better meal but my son loved his choices. Wonderful place. Definitely would recommend to others and would stay there again.

Love the bar on the roof. Very clean hotel. In walking distance of a coffee place. Only down side was we had to walk to breakfast because no one was there at the breakfast and it didn't appear to be self serve. Also we booked a king bed room and they gave us a queen with no adjusted price.
