Excellent location and very well kept flat. It was a comfortable and nice space that we were surprised with. There is a hallway laundry room for everyone’s use but the dryers seemed to need maintenance. We thought the extra hallway luggage space was a great idea for outside of check in and check out times. The living space and kitchen where cozy with enough supplies for a knights dinner although we didn’t cook.

Great spot, easy access and very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Amazing location. quiet. No elevator in case someone would need that. Due to that all walls have marks from luggage banging :)

If you want to be in the center of it all this is the place to be!

Outstanding! So clean, well-equipped, especially love the pop-up skylight windows from which you can see the station and cityscape. The long climb up five flights (no lift) is worth it for the view!

Cute apartment! Good location!

It is an excellent location, across the street from the train station and in the heart of Edinburgh. The interior of the apartment was well kept and comfortable. The stairs and hallway need a major clean up or revamping.

Thanks so much for letting us checking slightly early, it was raining in Edinburgh (what news! lol) and that made all the difference to our stay

Location can’t be beat with loads of great dining options (better than where I stayed last time in Edinburgh)….just know you will have to take a multitude of steps in the building if you’re on the 3rd floor or higher, and also to get to the Royal Mile etc. Bonus is I have legs of Steele now though lol! Maintenance was great and responsive when I had a minor issue. Can be noisy on weekend nights and festival time with bottles being dumped from pubs nextdoor and since you have to have windows open at night to stay cool (at least in summer when I was there), you will not be insulated from city noise. The only recommendation I’d make is both times I stayed there I was too hot with just the duvet provided in summer. The addition of a top sheet would have been awesome, and I requested one during both of my stays. The duvet was far too warm for me during summer.Overall, an excellent stay! Will stay again!

Great location and everything you need in the apartment and easily walkable to everywhere we wanted to go to.

One street over from the Royal Mile. Nice, clean rooms. Pay attention to their warnings of no lift. Heavy suitcases were difficult up and down the stairs. If not an issue, a great place to stay!

Room was lovely and spacious. Excellent location. Only stayed for one night so I didn't use the kitchen but it definitely had everything you'd need. Shower was great. I'd absolutely stay here again.

Great location exactly like the brochure says

The apartment was well appointed and had nearly every amenity possible you could need from a fully equipped kitchen to great WIFI and plenty of space for the two of us to move around. The place was comfortable and located in the perfect location for all of our needs to catch tours on the Royal Mile, traveling from Waverley Station, and the vast amounts of restaurants, bars and attractions nearby. The only thing that would personally make me rethink another stay here is that there is not an elevator and to be fair we knew that when booking but didn't anticipate being on the 5th floor. It was nearly 100 steps up to our room with luggage in tow which was a lot on us every time we wanted to leave the room and go out.

It was amazing and a very nice experience to stay in the flat at Market street, smack in the middle og Edinburg. Clean everywhere, well equipped kitchen (could do with salt & pepper though) :-) Nice bed and super spacius bathroom.
The place was easy to find, and yes the staircase is not very wide, but most city houses in United Kingdom has them. I will definitely come back, and recommend this place warmly.

Good condition and location

Perfectly located apartment with everything you needed. The small kitchen was expertly designed and the bed was very comfortable. Check in was easy but there was some confusion about whether a deposit was payable or not. Otherwise excellent

The location was perfect! The apartment was super cute and well equipped with kitchen basics. Very comfortable and quiet- convenient to be able to do laundry here. Would love to come back!

The room was amazing and comfortable. The location was perfect for walking to the Royal Mile and all of the shopping and restaurants there. It was a little difficult to find the entrance, but the pub manager next door was quite helpful and kind.

As a young couple, the studio apartment was perfect. It was the perfect size and the location could not have been better. (However, the stairs are a bit narrow, so be aware if you are bringing big luggage)

Overall couldn't be happier. Had never tried an apartment before and honestly don't know if I want to go back to a hotel. Really happy with the size of the apartment and couldn't believe all of the brilliant furnishings. It had a really cosy feel and had a brilliant view of the city. Apartment was literally 30 seconds away from the Waverly train station entrance. Thanks for the great stay.

Lovely and comfortable, warm, well-equipped and very conveniently located. The only downside was the amount of stairs to climb up. Still worth it once you got there!

Place was super hard to find. Google, Apple Maps, and Wayze all tell you different locations for the same address. :(
We called the line on the hotels.com email only to find it wasn't the line to reach the property, they directed us to another line that no one answered. We ended up wandering around with 3 suitcases trying to find it and asked a local restaurant staff who was kind enough to get us there.
There is no elevator, not blaming the place for this fact, just advising for those that will have luggage, you will be carrying it up multiple flights of stairs.
Worst thing.... we were the second floor, immediately above a restaurant that served fish dishes. At first, we thought there was rotten food in the sink, refrigerator, or dishwasher so we cleaned them all thoroughly. The second day we realized the smell was not there in the AM but overwhelming in the PM, so attributed it to the restaurant. The smell of the cuisine was strong enough in the apartment to the point that we would leave the windows open on a 45-degree F day just to not deal with the smell. Some may find this enjoyable but to us we do not like the smell of fish, so it was a huge put off.
The best thing! The views are amazing, I captured some of my favorite pictures from this view. It is super convenient to everything you want to see in the city and easy access to the train. Has a vibrant nightlife and restaurant scene within shouting distance. There is also a self-storage which is nice.

Great apartment, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, great location

Loved the location - so easy to walk everywhere. Also a nice kitchen that made it easy to cook at the flat.

Great apartment in a great location. Highly recommend. Will definitely book again if the price is right! Everything you need for a short or long stay in the city of Edinburgh.
Recycling bins had not been emptied from the last tenant staying apart from that everything else was great.

This place is an incredible bargain—clean, spacious, all the mod cons, incredibly well-stocked kitchen, quiet, comfortable bed. It’s literally across the street from Waverley Station and a five minute walk from the bus station. Couldn’t be better.

really feel like home! clean and tidy. user friendly shower temperature control. The only problem is the shaky table.

Will definitely book again. Fantastic location and amenities. Quiet rooms and appreciated having laundry on site

No elevator and the apartments are upstairs. 38 stairs to the first floor with rooms. The first step coming into the building is VERY high. I fell twice trying to get in the building. Room was nice, but I dreaded the stairs each time I returned to the apartment.

Very convenient location. Very clean and management was great to coordinate with.

Our Market St Apartment was perfect for our stay in Edinburgh - the location, amenities, and size. To note for anyone not familiar there was no air conditioning or lift.
5.0
Great place to stay, close to Royal Mile and eating places. Would have liked earlier advice of lack of lift, need to carry bags up multiple flights of stairs.
4.0
Fantastic location - right next to the train station and walking distance for us to the things we wanted to see. The stairs to the room were a bit of a challenge with our big bags but the view from the room was stunning. We loved it.

The singing under the windows from the pub below at night was a little loud, but the apartment is in the centre of Edinburgh, so you have to expect noise. The washers and dryers on the second floor worked well. The soap in the bathroom smelled nice. The carpet in the bedroom wasn’t the cleanest, probably because it is difficult to get a vacuum up those stairs, or a shortage of cleaning staff (?) Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Very nice accommodations in a great location.
