I really had high hopes for this place. First of all, this is not a hotel… it is temporary housing for the down and out and for folks who ( I presume) are working at the Fort or elsewhere in Sierra Vista. The check-in process was bizarre (no humans involved).
It is depressing, smelly, and extremely noisy. There was an area set up with BBQs and outdoor seating directly outside my windows, and every single night, people would congregate and party out there… loudly. About the only good thing I can say is that the shower was great and the water was hot, and it was nice to be able to prepare some meals there as the restaurant situation in Sierra Vista is pretty dire. If you do decide to stay here, ear plugs are essential. Never again.

It was nice to have a whole apartment for the price of a motel room. Most things were working although the ceiling fan and light could only be operated together and the bathroom vent was noisy.
The first thing we did upon arrival was to sweep the floors because it was necessary. And for some reason there were dishes but no silverware.
But there was NO service. I tried to extend our stay for another night and had to do another booking, including the cleaning fee. But what really annoyed me was the STRICT 10 am checkout time. At 10 am your access code stops working, and if you made the mistake to take some but not all stuff to your car YOU ARE LOCKED OUT. Fortunately, my husband was still in the apartment and somebody opened the exterior door for me, otherwise it would have beeen a lot of time and money to retrieve my suitcase.

I was given a dirty room. Dishes in the sink, bed used, towels all used and actually one with feces wipes all over. The leasing office is closed all weekend so just had to stay in that disgusting room. I couldn't use the shower as no clean towels. I couldn't even sleep on the bed. I slept on the couch.

The check-in took a lot of time over the phone and text in the dark because the office was closed with a sign to come back at 8pm. Besides, I already paid full amount with Expedia, the Vista still asked for a $100 deposit. That showed me they didn't trust the partner business they were working with or customers, either way. No way I can give 5 stars when compared with other hotels I experienced on the same trip.

Stay in general was average. Nothing special but also nothing gross. But with how the Vistas run as a hotel/air B&B/apartments the quality of the rooms leave room for improvement in the hotel aspect especially for the pricing. The advertised "Queen Beds" are definitely not Queen size, more on the Full size side, it was hard for my partner and I to sleep together with how small it was. The linens and towels were homely and not the typical white sterile of other hotels, which sometimes makes it hard to tell if they are as clean as you'd like for something that multiple people use per stay. Again, overall it was fine, average, not gross, but not the most comfortable experience.

I was excited to find a location near the military base that also had a one bedroom for privacy. The place was fairly clean with basic amenities. It suited our needs and the front desk staff were nice and helpful.
Pros:
Close to drive to fast food, grocery shopping, and general shopping area.
Large space that can sleep multiple guests. Two Queen beds and a pull out sofa.
Kitchenette with microwave and regular size fridge.
Air conditioner worked very well once I figured out to manually change the temp and not use the wall thermostat.
Cons:
Neighbors were kind of loud (kid running back and forth constantly above our unit)
The bedroom had no outlets on the walls, just a master outlet behind the TV.
Couldn’t turn off just the light and run the fan in the bedroom. Had to sleep with the light on, since we wanted the fan because it was hot. (Maintenance will hopefully figure this out and update the bedroom light fixture) - Katie from the front desk loaned us a floor fan to help. Thank you to her!

I was very excited to stay here until I entered a dirty room that was not in acceptable order. There was dirty dishes, dirty laundry, the beds were unmade and had definitely been slept in, there was garbage all over the room. I requested a new room and they sent me to 2 other rooms then back to another room making me change rooms a total of 4 times at midnight. Then was charged for the large apartment when I was not given that room. The lack of service was aggravating. I will not be staying here for future visits.

Clean and have everything you need.
But it use code to unlock door which makes me feel very unsafe.
Mattress is just okay.
Service is almost not available.

Collected extreme amount of personal information including photo of drivers license before finalizing reservation. Lack of communication regarding room. Door code for outside entrance was incorrect. Hsd to call in the evening to get access into building. Accommodations were OK.

I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the suite. It included a full size fridge, microwave stove top and dishwasher. Beds were okay and clean. TV in each room. Many of the apartments house full time residents. While it was mostly quiet, we could hear the neighbors (and I'm sure they heard us too).

Whenever we walked in the room for the first time you could tell how clean it was.

Lots of shady people hanging around and entering at all hours. Slamming doors all night long and screaming baby starting at 6 am and didn’t stop until we checked out. Asked for a blanket/pillow was told would check and never contacted back.

Great communication with all the room information. Precheck-in made it easy and received our room info to get in.

Place was not properly clean. There was trash left behind from previous people, dishes in sink. Bed looked like there was someone sitting there before we arrived. Bed sheets were dirty.

I’ve stayed here at least 3 times prior to this most recent visit and was so disappointed this time. During my 1 week stay, the fire alarm went off not one time but two times requiring us to leave the building for about an hour and a half each time. The second time was at 12:45 AM. Not a single explanation, courtesy or apology was given by the staff. Only later did I find out it was from the laundry room both times. The guests at the Vistas are sketchy , the area around is dirty and the decor/cleanliness of the room itself was questionable. 2 times I saw bugs in the linens.

The email advertisment for a cheaper rate is a false advertisment and will actually raise the rate which is a violation of the truth in advertising law's applicable and when contacted directly from the Metro property number provided the rate is then increased by $40.00 more as it seems to be a ethical issue that the property team hope's to avoid by

I’ve stayed at this property multiple times. Room condition are inconsistent. Some of the rooms are very dated and other are remodeled and modern. It’s always a hit and miss on which one is assigned to you. Quite unfortunate

This property is hard to beat. If you are spending a few days I highly recommend the Vistas. Very safe, Uber clean, well stocked for a few day or extended stay. Restaurants a less than a mile away. Highly recommended.

felt safe, over all nice for the price, didn't like the fact that "Vistas" limited the amount of hands on service needed for manager to handle easy questions and concerns, had to call main company to get verified with deposit, etc. Manager handled her hands being tied best she could. Thank you!

Room was very clean and had everything necessary except a comfortable bed. The mattress was way to hard and in need of an update.

Was never able to check in because check was virtual. Kept calling becUse my ID would not download. After 45 mins was fi ally able to send my ID. I was then informed I had to pay an additional $100 deposit which would be refunded once we checked out. I devlined to stay here and am asking for a full refund. We will see how customer service handles the refund. Terrible customer service. Would not give this place a second thought.

Reserved a Family Apartment with two bedrooms, two queen beds and a sofa bed. We needed three beds for four adults and were assigned unit 116 via email but no door code. Later, our room was changed to 327 but still no door code. I called to get a door code and was told it would be sent about two hours before check in time. Never received a code. Upon arrival, I went to the office and finally got a code for 327. That room only had one full size bed and a short sofa for a second bed - totally inadequate. Went back to the office to change rooms and learned that they not handle room assignments. Had to call Metro to change rooms and was given 201. Same as 327 but had a queen bed, longer sofa and large TV. Called Metro again and was told we could have two rooms or a refund. I asked for adjacent rooms and was sent to 209 and 211. At 5:30 PM, these rooms had not been cleaned. Finally decided to use 201 and 327 even though they were on different floors and opposite ends of the building.
Room 327 had a nice bathroom and small kitchen area but the rest left a lot to be desired. Living area window doesn't close completely so cold air blows in - 26 degrees in AM. Crack in bedroom window. Two tiny TVs, only one working remote, dangling TV wires and HDMI cable in the wrong plug so no signal until moved. Furniture with many scrapes and a warped cabinet door. The worst - plastic bags covering both smoke detectors which must be illegal.
