We stay at North Bay hotels all the time and thought we would stay at the Fairfield Inn this time. We were very disappointed with our stay. We booked a King Room via Expedia 24hrs before our stay and when we got to the hotel the next day they didn’t have the room we booked and paid for. At the time of booking (24hrs before) there were numerous room choices online in different price categories available.
We chose a more expensive room choice that of a normal King room with a seating area. What we got was a handicapped accessible room which we didn’t book with no seating area and handicapped facilities. We were staying at this hotel to celebrate our anniversary and that is why we booked the king room with seating area etc..
The handicap/accessible room wasn’t what we booked /paid for and had in mind for our evening.
Further, the hotel advertises 7am free breakfast. We had to leave the hotel by 7:15 am so we arrived in the breakfast area at 7am. Unfortunately none of the actual warm breakfast items like eggs and bacon/sausage etc (we don’t know what was offered as it wasn’t out) was available until we had to leave. We left at 7:20!
We would hope that if a 7am breakfast is advertised that it is actually available at 7am and not 15-30 min later.
So between not receiving the room we specifically booked and paid for and not being able to have breakfast we think our $233 room a night wasn’t worth it and won’t be staying here again unfortunately.

We booked 4 rooms at this hotel based on the review, and after we arrived the staff was very helpful, and polite. One of the vanity having some problems, and they sent the technician right away and the problems fixed right away. The breakfast was very good with different choices for different people. The only draw back is the swimming pool is too small, even kids don't want to swim there.

We were given a wheelchair accessible room. It was recommended to us as we were travelling with an infant - however the bed was so low to the ground, the mattress had no firmness to it and the hallway they put us in to be more quiet ended up being so loud we didn’t get to sleep until after 2am. There was a dog in the room next to us barking for most of the evening.

Upon arriving, we were greeted promptly by the two gentlemen at the front desk. They were very kind and was super friendly to my daughter. It was a quick and easy check-in, zero hassle. Once we got into the room, we were stunned at how clean it smelt and looked and how new everything was. It has been a lovely stay.

Very clean hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of variety for breakfast! Only negative is that the bathroom light is a sensor. So it goes on in the middle of the night when using the bathroom or when anyone is close to the door. Other than that, wonderful stay!

I stayed here while caring for a family member at the hospital, which is a 3 minute drive away. The staff were kind and compassionate and accommodated requests for late check-out, etc. I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I spent three nights here for a mini vacation. The hotel is lovely and spotlessly clean. The staff to a person is friendly and welcoming. Our room (2 Queen Beds) was very spacious and well-designed. The beds were really comfortable and the linens were bright and crisp. We had both air conditioning and windows that opened, so we could control the temperature.
The breakfast bar was the best I have ever experienced in a hotel offering free breakfast. There were many choices-all fresh and tasty, and items were replenished constantly by helpful staff. The breakfast room was bright and airy, with many seating options. My husband enjoyed using the fitness room, which was modern, clean and well-equipped.
The hotel is conveniently located for easy travel to anywhere in town.
Our only minor issues were the early cutoff time for breakfast (9:00 am) and an unusual bathroom light system.
I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in North Bay!

This was the first time I stayed at the Fairview in North Bay. All the staff were so kind and attentive, from the front desk to the cleaning people. The room was excellent! The pool is small and a bit chilly but my kids didn’t seem to mind. The room was clean and we all enjoyed the awesome smelling shampoo/conditioner/body wash. It is close to the university, hospital and Duchesne Falls. There aren’t any restaurants near by but everything is close in North Bay. The breakfast was fantastic! I will definitely stay here again!
