I stayed at the loft apartment while my wife was on a cruise with our daughter. The loft is nice and the only pain was re-parking the car every two hours between 9:00am and 6pm to keep from getting a parking ticket. Other than that I really enjoyed the property and location.

Perfect for our group before heading on cruise.

Loved the historic feel. Felt safe in the area. Street parking was a problem. Not always available close to the loft.

Comfortable one-night stay before our cruise. Excellent location for The Strand and coffee shops and restaurants. We recommend the Leeland House bistro for a casual dinner.
Be warned that the walls are paper thin and you can hear people talking in apartment next door and outside on the street. Didn’t bother us, but for others it might be an issue.

After all, we enjoyed our stay. Had a trouble with the key box in the 1st day .The property management needs to be address a few things before the people checking in ,like the street parking situation and the location for the garbage collection so on.

Over all very nice place, the location is excellent for walking around. I had no parking issues. The only thing I might say would be it could use some touch ups on the walls and paint in the bathroom. The beds were just a little to firm for my comfort but It wouldn’t keep me from returning and renting again. Excellent communication from the owner and very easy controlled access in a really cool old building.

The property is a great location to be able to get downtown quickly which was very convenient. Also, it's spacious giving space to one another. The beds were comfortable as were the blankets though a few more in the closet would be helpful for cool nights. Things like a frying pan/skillet would be helpful also as there was only one soup pot. Also, the outlet in the bathroom doesn't work so no styling your hair in the bathroom. This was rather in convenient. The place could use a mopping as the floor was quite dirty! Otherwise, our stay was pleasant.

Verify comfortable space and local to galveston restaurants. Communication from host was great.

Enjoyed staying here. Its very spacious. Great for a large group! The building has old windows all around so it can be noisy at times. Also, not the best place if you have a problem with stairs.

It was a great place close to all the shops in the Strand district. We have been coming to Galveston a long time. We come 3-5 times a year, and we really enjoyed being off of the Seawall!

We got to the location. Was a bit confusing to locate. Had to bring 3 large luggage’s up a steep staircase. Entire complex was very strong odor of cleaning chemicals. We were all nauseated the whole night. Our toilet didn’t work. Luckily my husband could fix it. Looks like they tried to previously using Bobby pins and tape.
Was very loud. No sound proofing of street noise or neighbors. Heard neighbors text alert all night and motorcycles. windows very thin. Beautiful large windows throughout. Had to get onto a chair to open the blinds as you had to be over 6’ to reach it.
Very comfy couch and beds to sleep on. Be careful when showering. My daughter and son both fell. Very slippery.
Overall, great space and appeared very clean. Didn’t sleep much with outdoor noise but only a 5 minute walk to the cruise terminal.

This renovated historical loft was absolutely beautiful and nice and clean. There is a gorgeous chandelier in the kitchen area and we loved the open airy floor plan with gorgeous natural light. There were a few things to note. There was a very tall, steep staircase leading up to the apartment that we did not see listed anywhere. We had my mom with us who has trouble climbing stairs and we didn’t know if she would be able to make it up and down them. She did manage, but it would have been nice to know this before we got there. Also, the handles to open and close the blinds in the beautiful windows are about 7 feet in the air and only one of us was tall enough to (barely) reach them to close the blinds. As wonderful as the location was, it was very noisy with motorcycles, loud vehicles blaring music and people shouting and talking loudly in the street outside until about 3 am. Now that we know what to expect, we would still book this location again because it was a great space. I just like knowing what to expect before hand so we can make plans to adjust. All in all, it was a great stay.

The property is super comfortable and close to lots of the nearby attractions. We were able to walk to reastaurants and local light life venues without any issues. The property was a little warm for my taste and after emailing the property manager said not to worry and they would send someone to look into it. It endedup that the AC was working fine it just wasn't able to keep up with the 100+ degree weather in Texas, but that was not problem, they installed a window unit that kept the place super cold. And they got it done within 1 hr of the initial email I've stayed a other BeachBox managed properties as their communication is above standard with house rules and instructions already sent before arriving to the property. Well managed, well maintained properties, will stay at other BeachBox properties next time i visit. Great experience and highly recommended.

We had such a great time at this place! It’s close to everything, super modern and comfortable, very spacious, and it had everything we needed for a nice getaway in Galveston. There is no designated parking, but there was plenty of street parking available right in front of the building the whole time we were there. If you have little kids, note that it does get kind of noisy outside at night because it’s so close to the Strand, so having a sound machine definitely helped. We would definitely recommend it and would love to stay there again!

This place is located right in the heart if downtown Galveston and made it super convenient for us to come and go as we pleased while enjoying some of the best restaurants and bars around.

We recently stayed her, and it exceeded our expectations. The stylish space boasted high ceilings, modern amenities, and chic décor, providing a perfect urban retreat. Its prime location allowed us to easily explore the vibrant downtown area, filled with fantastic shops, restaurants, and attractions. The host was incredibly welcoming and provided excellent recommendations for local hotspots. We loved the unique blend of industrial charm and contemporary comfort the loft offered. A fantastic choice for anyone looking to experience the heart of Galveston in style!

I recently stayed in the cozy loft rental in the downtown area and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, with plenty of great restaurants and shops just a short walk away. The loft itself was beautifully decorated and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen and cozy living area. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. I also loved the natural light that flooded the space during the day. Overall, I highly recommend this loft rental for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in the heart of the city.

Our stay at this wonderful loft could not have been better. The owner was very attentive. The residence was clean and cozy. You can't ask for a better location if you're looking for something within walking distance from the downtown nightlife but far enough away to not be disturbed by the noise. Highly recommended!!

Overall it was a great place, quiet. Only issue was they had switched the locks so I had a little trouble getting in but they were quick to respond. Overall a nice place.

This is a newly renovated loft in a historic building above a boutique, and walkable to The Strand. There is a long and steep staircase leading to the hallway outside the loft. I’m not great with stairs, but I managed okay. The other lofts are under construction still (July 2022), so there is dust and you can smell paint walking to this unit. The washer and dryer are in the hallway, so be advised those are (or will be) shared. Once you get past the construction zone and into the loft, it is awesome. The kids were awestruck when we opened the door. There is amazing natural light from all the large windows. The window AC units worked great. The kitchen is very cute and we loved the chandelier. The sofa unit is comfy and all five of us fit, for watching movies. The kids slept on the bunk beds. The bed in the master was firm but comfortable. The photos of the listing are accurate - it is a nice sized space and a nice mix of old charm and new amenities. One odd thing that surely will be fixed, was that there is no towel ring or towel bar in the bathroom. We struggled to find places to hang our towels. Parking is also limited but we got lucky and were able to park for free on the street by the building. Otherwise we could have parked around the corner on a side street or in a paid lot. One downfall of being in the heart of downtown near the bars is the noise, late into Fri and Sat night. We kept hearing emergency vehicles and partying pedestrians pass by. The kids slept through it, but it was harder on us parents. Still, we loved it overall and would stay here again. Tons to do and see these days in Galveston, and this was a nice home base.
