We loved our stay! Our suite was very large and clean , we loved the balcony and views of the water. Friendly and helpful staff. We received a great recommendation for a shuttle to the Port. Loved the decor, bright and cheerful and we thought the room was so comfortable, really nice to have a kitchenette and living room space. Breakfast was good and we liked the 2 different options for breakfast locations. We didn't have a car so we appreciated close access to a trolley stop and walking distance to Gaido's Restaurant and others. Loved walking across the street and walking the beach in the morning!

Only thing that would make it better is if it was right on the water, busy street but easy access to the beach across the street. Breakfast area can be busy, lots of cruise passengers.

Great Continental breakfast, we ate the pizza place that night which was practically in the parking lot. Ocean view with a balcony was a surprise too! E would stay again if we cruise from Galveston!

The hotel is in a great spot. The staff graciously accommodated us when we decided we'd like to stay an additional night. The beds were really comfortable, and the room was clean.

Pillows could use a little help; they went flat pretty quickly.

Heard footsteps sounding like elephants from above us until 4am. Poor insulation didn’t get any rest on third floor. Book top floor. Didn’t have any towels left upon arrival and stationary lotion bottle was empty.

Upon check-in on the 12/8 stay, our reservation had been canceled because the hotel had tried to charge a card that didn’t work. The issue must have been on the hotel’s side because it happened to everyone in the group, so no way we all had bad cards. That was super scary to try to check in with no reservation. The front staff did work to fix it, but they weren’t super nice about it. That said, they fixed the issue and we checked in fine.

Location was perfect

The hotel was dirty and confusing - two hotels that share the same reception, meaning twice as long to check in and two breakfast areas which were confusing and people bottlenecked causing delays. The grass around the property was completely saturated in dog feces. We had no remote in our room for the TV so were unable to watch it and the hotel staff were useless in helping.

This was our second stay at this hotel, and we like the hotel very much. It is clean and comfy, and Amanda at the front desk was amazing! My son was sick, so she allowed me to pay extra for a late check-out so he could rest. She went out of her way to be friendly, accommodating, and thoughtful. The breakfast was yummy, and our group all got to sit together and eat and visit. The balcony room was nice, too and the rooms are roomy. Eat at Pappa’s Pizza right in front of the hotel. Great food and wonderful French fries!!

This was our second stay at the hotel (we were in Galveston for a cruise), and it was great. Nothing negative to say.

Beautiful hotel - the room was ~$160 - what I did not realize until I checked out they charged me $20 for parking and $75 for having a pet. I was totally shocked if these hidden fees!!!!
