The free ear plugs. I was refunded one night. The pub food has some better selections than most, other than the usual schnittys.
As the room was on the upper balcony, I was in bed, and there was bloke about 2m away from outside the balcony drinking with his mates and smoking. I lasted 10mins in the room before checking out and finding a room at the next door motel.

It was central. Could walk everywhere from there. Warm, clean and comfortable.
The bar and bistro were closed as they'd had a huge long weekend.

Staff were friendly and efficient. Bathrooms were very clean and well maintained - main reason I have returned.
Price was a bit high for a small bedroom pub accommodation tolerating noise from the adjoining rooms, entertainment and the main road. The motels around are only slightly more expensive but nice food, plenty of dining space and slightly expensive but convenient drinks helped balance our decision.

Good location, excellent pub menu downstairs, nice rooms and shared bathrooms with kitchenette offering tea coffee. Short walk to the lovely river walk

bathrooms were very good- staff very helpful
my room was too close to the beer garden- it closed early so I was greatly relieved
