I have nothing but positive things to say about Sea Turtle Getaways. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and accommodate some minor issues we had at the unit (ex: pool wasn't clean upon arrival). The house itself is solid. It was really clean and the location is excellent. It has nearly everything you need for a great HHI vacation with your family or friends. It has a fresh, modern feel to it. Cons: Pool is really small so if you're kids like spending time in the pool it can be cramped. Also, there aren't a lot of cooking dishes in the house. If you do a lot of stay-at-home cooking like we do, you had to improvise a lot because pans and pots are lacking. Finally, there aren't any dressers in some of the bedrooms, so you will have to put clothes on the floor or live out of a suitcase. These things are minor, but folks should know about it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The charm of this home was evident from the time we turned onto Mallard Street and pulled into the driveway. The live oak tree draped in Spanish moss hung over the drive and others created a beautiful archway over Mallard Street as you looked less than a block away toward the path leading to the beach.The interior of the home definitely gives off the Coastal vibe and has all the comforts of home. The open main living area is perfect for entertaining or curling up on the sectional to watch the large screen TV. Each of the 4 bedrooms has a bathroom available with step in showers.The pool and spa area is in an area that will be partially shaded for the warmer months yet catches some sun for those cooler days. Relaxing in the evening in the spa after a day on the beach is a wonderful experience. Speaking of the beach it is a breathtaking vista during either high or low tide. We were able to enjoy the viewing of dolphins just off the beach beyond the curl of the waves.The location of this property is situated so it is possible to walk or ride your bikes to Coligny Plaza, an area full of shops, restaurants and places for those in search of a cold beverage. Almost anything you want to do on the island is accessible by car within a 15 minute drive.The management company was readily available and very responsive to the few issues we had arise. My only suggestion would be to improve communication on actions being taken to remedy issues that come up.The only problem with our stay was having to leave after enjoying this beautiful home for the prior month.

Overall, we were very pleased with the rental and the property management company. A couple of small things that could help improve the experience: - have to fix the upstairs shower situation, water splashes all over the floor and toilet - add an outdoor light on the back of the house where the pool/spa is - provide beach towels - not enough soap in the house (hand, dish or body) - not enough trash bags Not of the above are deal breakers but would make for a better rental experience.

Location of house and proximity to beach and coligny were fantastic. 600.00 to heat the pool and spa is outrageous. Pool location at rear of house, no fence, deck was not as expected. Don’t advertise a spa if you have to pay extra to heat. House was clean and updates were nice. Beds extremely firm and uncomfortable.
