I had trouble gaining access and contacted owner. He responded quickly and got us in. The location was near family we were visiting nearby. It was also not far from Activities. The neighborhood was nice family residential area with sidewalks where we could walk our dog. The neighborhood even had doggie cleanup bag stations to cleanup after pets. The negative of the rental is that it was dirty. We found old moldy bread and food in a box in the entry closet, tons of old moldy bread in 3 kitchen cabinets and water bottles and plastic bag stuffed in the ice in the freezer. The walls in the rental were dirty and stained. They all need a good repaint with cleanable paint. Especially the back splash behind the stove which had a lot of splashed oil stains. The outside of the dishwasher was stained and dirty. And the main bedroom shower was gross with mold and dirt on the bottom of door and frame. There werent enough towels or supplies to accomodate 8 people and the towels and linens need to be updated and upgraded. I did let the owner know about the moldy bread and food and he was going to have the cleaners come back to make it right. I had to decline as our dog is not socialized and leary of strangers. I didnt notify him of the dirty walls and other issues. Hopefully they will remedy these issues for the future and more closely monitor the home and the cleaners after each checkout since we pay a lot to stay and for cleanup we should not feel grossed out

The cleaning wasn't as good as I would expect. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and safe.

The house was located in a newer community with walkways. It was close to grocery shopping and the highway. The house was very clean and we had plenty of room for our needs. The only thing I wish it had was a full length mirror, as we were there to attend a wedding. The owner was extremely prompt with his communications. We enjoyed our weekend immensely and would reserve the property again when visiting family.

Very nice, new house in the northern suburbs of Greensboro, NC. The house is setup well for families and/or friends. We had both while we attended a wedding in Greensboro. Two points: 1) The house is great for a family. We found that cooking and kitchen equipment left something (a lot?) to be desired. We purchased measuring cups and spoons along with dish towels, etc. and left them for the next person. There was not really sufficient equipment for family cooking. I guess "essentials" are a matter of opinion. For coffee drinkers, there is a Kruig, but nothing to boil water in for tea or oatmeal, no toaster for poptarts and such. A bit of creativity is necessary (or plan it as a camping trip). No hand towels either. We bought a few towels at a local WalMart and left them there. 2) The listing says the beds are queen size. They are not. They are standard 54" double beds. Yes, I measured them. Some other thoughts: There were a number of light bulbs out, but no step ladder to use for replacing them. We didn't have time to request the host to send a maintenance crew. You really should have a real fire extinguisher, not the spray can style. Not a good place to cut costs. The Dryer was a disaster. I spent 2 hours scraping melted plastic goo off of the drum. While the washer was new, the dryer looked like a salvage job. If we had known the beds were not queen sized, we probably would have passed.
