Situated in Wrightsville Beach, this attractive house for $422 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. “Summer Salt South Unit” is a traditional side by side duplex located at the desirable southern end of Wrightsville Beach. Close to Crystal Pier and Oceanic Restaurant, this 4-bedroom 3 bath southern unit offers great ocean views and private beach access. Sunbathe on the shared rooftop deck where you can see miles of coastline or leisurely wander the winding beach path to the pristine ocean sands! The ground floor entrance leads you to a small living den. This is a great space for children and teens as there is a bedroom with a bunk bed (twin/twin) and a free-standing twin bed that has pull out twin trundle bed. A full bathroom is also located on the entry level of the home across from the bunk room. Upstairs you enter the main living space. From the spacious open living and dining area with large sliding glass doors that brighten the space. The living and dining area are separate from the kitchen but connected through a serving window. Down the hall the first bedroom is furnished with two twin beds. The spacious primary suite offers a king size bed and private bathroom. There is also a twin bed in the primary bedroom which works wonderfully for families! The third bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed. A full bathroom located in the hallway serves the twin and queen guest rooms. Sit back and relax on your ocean front deck while enjoying the gentle breeze! For years this property has needed to upgrade its electrical outlets. Ordinary chargers for phones and computers will not stay "in" many of the outlets in the living room and bedrooms but fall out and only a few of the outlets are useable for this reason. The king and queen mattresses are very uncomfortable, bowl-shaped. I chose to use a twin bed this year and last year for this reason and my guests complained about the larger mattresses. Half of the hall lights were burned out and one of the porch lights was out. There were no spare light bulbs to be found anywhere and it would have been appropriate to have some available - more appropriate to see that none were burned out. A light to illuminate the grilling area of the lower deck near the hose would be nice since that is presumably where grilling is supposed to be done and it is not illuminated by the very dim porch lighting. For the first time in many, many times renting this property I had to make a noise complaint about people in the other side as it was filled with college students who decided one night to have a party that went on several hours indoors and out and the next day played loud music on the deck for several hours. Apparently someone finally got a message through to them and they were at last quiet for the remainder of their stay. It was my understanding that someone at least thirty years of age is to be on the property - but none of the guests on that side appeared to meet that criterion. When you plan this far in advance for a vacation and you choose the same house over and over again for, what, 28 years now - you expect to have the basics covered - comfortable beds, quiet neighbors, functioning outlets, adequate lighting. This year was a big disappointment.

We were in town for a tennis tournament and stayed 4 nights. The home was comfortable and a good size for 7 of us. Property would benefit from some updating though and some people said the beds/sleeper sofas weren't as comfortable as expected. We had to call regarding the heating but they responded quickly and fixed our issue. No real complaints.

The location was very in a beautiful spot. The house had a great layout with wide open living spaces. It was not very accessible for folks with handicaps with many steps and 300ft path through the sand to the beach. Bathrooms need updating on the tub faucets. The small kitchen was very adequate. All in all we had a great weekend.

Love the bed arrangement. Whenever reported an issue to Bryant Real Estate taken care of it in a timely manner. House is beachfront and has lots of bedrooms, but furniture, floors, walls, decor is all very tired and worn. That made it seem not all that clean. Beds were pretty sad. Worst of all, there was not a bubble of soap in the place and only a single trashbag. I stay in lots of hotels and also rentals by owners and have never had one that did not give at least one soap and two trash bags. Especially given the price, this was very dissappointing.

Great ocean front property. It is truly a beach house. Older than other houses around it but loved it. Also Love the beach on south end of Wrightsville except for so many surfers. The property description is accurate. I do love the bed arrangements in each bedroom. Kitchen was well supplied with dishes etc. Nice size living room although the furniture needs to be replaced. Sofa has a large rip in it at the seam. They did change bed spreads from one year to the other. Would be nice if the pathway to the beach was cleared off some. Also of cactus by walkway etc which can make it difficult to walk. Of all the places I have stayed at Wrightsville this has been my favorite. Also when I call Bryant Real Estate with a problem it is taken care of in a timely manner. Would recommend this property to others. I would recommend to stay away from Crystal Pier to eat-expensive and food is awful. Enjoyed Cape Fear Seafood.

The property shows its age but it is quiet, with great rooftop deck views, and a covered deck with ocean views too. The rooms are large and the beds are OK. It was generally clean. A little more attention to details would make the place more welcoming (working batteries in the remotes, light bulbs in lamps, hangers in the closets). Note that paying for linens separately (for a 3 night stay) added to the bottom line.

The house is in a great location, front row, and has a great view of the ocean. The top roof deck was a nice place to sit and relax while having a fairly private feel. This house/building is a duplex. The neighbors were off-season renters and had a dog that barked and made his way over to our side on multiple occasions. Other than that, being that close was not an issue. The house is older and in need of upgrades. However, most were cosmetic. The cleanliness of the house was questionable, at best. The interior was not what I expect or am accustom to with rentals from sites like AirB&B or VRBO. The plates were disgusting, several had food particles and fat deposits like there were quickly rinsed, if that. I find that unacceptable and emailed the rental agency and have not heard back yet. I would not stay here again. I have stayed in Wrightsville Beach before and you can find nice quality with more amenities for around the same price.

After hurricane Florence (the longest hurricane EVER) dashed our original plans to stay at Fox/Keeney (south) in September, the owner and Bryant Real Estate were AMAZING to work with to help us reschedule our weekend at this property. I sincerely thank them for their flexibility and patience!!! The house itself is more about its location than its amenities. The house is adequate. The beds slept great but the house is a bit dated. But it's more about the beach than the house, right? And the beach is GREAT!!
