Great and unique landing spot for our weekend. Although the weather wasn't great, the house had plenty of games and the weekend was great.

We came to the area for the Purdue-Virginia Tech Football game. The Cabin had a convenient but remote location just up the hill from downtown Radford and 20 minute from the VT campus. It was spotless, unique and loaded with everything you need for your getaway. Deb was very communicative and accommodating. We would definitely return when in the area.

We were here for a family Memorial Service. Immediately upon arrival we were greeted with lovely rolling hills, deer roaming freely and a cozy, well-stocked retreat where we could relive family memories with love ones. A must stay if you are visiting this area of Southwest VA.

The property has every accommodation that you could think of. The house was an absolute blast with all the games and activities it provided. We felt like we were in the middle of no where with our closest friends. This was the best trip I’ve had so far and will be coming back with my wife and our friends!

This cabin is tucked down a 1-mile private drive and surrounded by 200 acres of nature. You feel completely secluded but are near downtown Radford and just a short drive from Blacksburg. We had a little trouble with the a/c at check-in and the hosts responded right away. They even came back with a new filter at 8:30 pm on a Sunday night! The house is well-stocked and comfortable for multiple families. Our adult children enjoyed the game room. Would highly recommend this property!

Great location. Feels secluded and private, but close to DT Radford. Loved it.

Host was very easy to communicate with. Responded quickly to any messages. Very friendly. The place was beautiful. The pool table kept adults and kids entertained for hours. Outside was just breathtaking. Tons of space for kids to run. Very relaxing getaway.

This place kept 4 teenagers occupied for 3 days. More than enough room to yourself and the congregating areas were spacious. Wildlife was abundant, and cabin was in such a neat order. I have stayed in VRBO places from Saugatuck, Mi. To Brown Co., IN. From Hocking Hills, OH. To Gatlinburg, TN. And this place is kept up and clean better than any I have stayed in.

Unique property. Great outdoor space. Quiet. Definitely worth every penny.

The property is beautiful, spacious, secluded. The home is very interesting , warm and inviting. The owners thought of everything! There is something for any age to be interested in doing, with many games, pool table, card table. My two daughters both graduated that weekend so we had multiple graduation ceremonies to attend and not much of a chance to spend a lot of time at the cabin with all it has to offer. My parents, sister-in-law/ brother in law, niece, her husband, 2 young daughters 4 and 5, my husband and myself stayed there. One evening our daughters came out, played games and ate with us there, we had a wonderful evening, everyone loved this home! This is a place you didn't want to leave! It is only about 20 to 25 minutes from Blacksburg. If we come to games in the fall this is where I hope to stay again. It was wonderful! Can't say enough good things about the property or the hosts! They were always very prompt getting back to me with any questions I had, provided very thorough directions and information, 10/10!

Rented this house for the weekend with a group of friends traveling in from different locations. It was secluded enough to feel very private, while close enough to Radford to really enjoy the town. Deb was very easy to work with, Check-In was flawless. Great trip all around.

We had a fantastic time serving Easter dinner for our Hokie and his friends. Cabin is just fantastic for entertaining with game room complete with monopoly, pool and poker tables. So nice that games are supplied along with corn hole and giant jenga. Kitchen stocked. Fire pit and grill were lovely. Saw deer and turkeys from porch. Far enough (25 minutes) from VT to be a little get away to de-stress but close enough for them to show up for a celebratory dinner. The Food City down the road was great for food and wood. Thanks for sharing this awesome “unique” cabin. We will be back!

We were in town for a swim-meet in Christiansburg, but with four kids and a dog a normal hotel wouldn’t do. We were a little worried about the distance from the cabin to the aquatic center and restaurants, but the location was great, only a 15-minute drive to everything. Property was very clean, with lots of extra amenities throughout; the only problem we encountered was the outdoor speaker system, but we ultimately didn’t need it as everyone was glued to March Madness inside, or playing pool on the lower level. Overall great experience!

We spent a few days here with our teenagers/young adult kids to visit Virginia Tech and ride the Virginia Creeper trail. The cabin was super clean, comfortable and well furnished. We enjoyed playing pool, monopoly and hanging out on the screened in porch. I especially appreciated that all the light switches were labeled, making it easy to navigate all the lighting options. There were many thoughtful touches like this, making our stay thoroughly enjoyable.

great place ! fully stocked , lots of deer , fire pit ,( need to get inside gas fireplace fixed ) , it's unusual looking outside, but inside its prefect for a family gathering , will stay there again ...

Great quiet location in the country near Oxford.

We really had fun at deb's place. We stayed with the new born, toddler, teen, and an adults. Property has everything you need for any age groups. Its cozy and it really makes you feel like you are away from town, yet so close to everything. We will surely visit again.

We really enjoyed the house. Comfortable beds, good amenities and fun features in a beautiful rural setting, but relatively close (NOT walkable) to Radford campus and town.

One of the nicest and cleanest places we’ve stayed. Fully stocked house with so many nice little touches. We will definitely be back.

Fit our needs

Beautiful retreat in a remote yet convenient location. Wonderful amenities, and very comfortable with spacious outdoor and indoor accommodations. The host was incredible with her communication and assistance when we needed anything.

We rented this cabin for the weekend of our daughter’s graduation from VT. Very close drive to campus and all that we wanted to do. The cabin was very clean and super cozy! Everything was well stocked! We enjoyed hanging out in the family room and playing games in the basement. We were even greeted by wild turkeys and deer in the mornings. I would highly recommend staying here!

We absolutely loved the secluded cabin and roaming the property. We saw deer every day, and also a group of wild turkeys. The cabin was charming and well furnished, from bedding and towels to kitchen supplies. We made a nice Thanksgiving meal. This cabin was perfect for our needs - close to our daughter at VT, large enough give parents and kids their own spaces to "hang out" and just plain nice, comfortable and cozy! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin to others.

We were in Radford to visit family. The cabin gave us solitude when desired, beautiful grounds to hike around, and the ability to get to town in 5'. The grounds offered plenty of space for a large happy dog to be, well, large and happy. At night, the sky is dark enough to be filled with stars. The cabin itself is very comfortable.

We had wonderful time at the cabin. Secluded and natural surroundings but a quick drive to Virginia Tech! We would definitely love to stay again.

We had a great stay at "the cabin." It was well kept, well stocked, and felt like home. The building was a unique construction and the surrounding property was beautiful! We felt deep in the woods even though we were so close to downtown. Our host even left us a goodie basket! Thanks for a lovely weekend!

Exceptionally clean and well stocked. Had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend. Wish we had stayed longer as there was so much to do at the house, including hiking the property loaded with deer and wildlife. We will be back!

Super fun house with tons of history and wildlife all around. Great location for visiting Radford U or VA Tech. Loved the fire pit on the back patio and the dogs loved sitting on the front screened in porch and watching the wildlife. Wild Turkeys and deer everywhere. The house is comfortable and the game room was a huge hit. We go to Radford every year for the alumni baseball weekend and will definitely stay here again!
