It was well located for everything that we wanted to do. The immediate neighborhood was in flux. It appears to be on the lower end of the socio-economic scale. We think it is a misnomer to be called a country cottage. I guess that if you compare the location to central Geneva it is country. Older people may have a problem navigating the stairs. Since the bedroom is on the second floor and the bathroom is on the first, this could be a difficult situation. There is a hide-a-bed on the first floor, but opening and closing it may be difficult for some seniors. The coffee maker did not work, and was not changed during our stay. There were some incidental amenities provided such as bath soap, maple syrup, and wine, which was thoughtful. There is an excellent convenience store nearby which provided excellent coffee.

From the second we walked in to the moment we left everything about this little cottage was perfect.The few questions I did have were answered immediately through a personal text. The town of Dundee is super quiet and totally laid-back but super close to all the wineries at Seneca and Keuka Lake. Just minutes from Watkins Glen Falls which is absolutely beautiful and a must see!! I’ve stayed at other VRBO properties and this by far was my favorite!
