This place was the worst I’ve ever stayed at. No hot water, stains on bedding, no light in bathroom, black hairs all over tiles, broken blind so no sunlight, unfriendly staff, felt unsafe

Close to the beach. Air con was good.

Quite old and dated. The tv didn’t work. A few things in the room was broken. Blinds didn’t shut properly. Sheets had stains on them.

They offer free parking which is the only positive thing I can say

They charge prices like they are a 4* hotel but in reality, they are barely 2*. I paid for a deluxe queen room nothing deluxe there. The room stank and the carpet was filthy and heavily stained. There was no housekeeping, towels were not changed for the 3 days we were there. Rooms are not cleaned. The Bathroom had mold on the ceiling. The standards of the room are very low very basic. You could bearly get a signal on the TV. Do not waste your money on this place. For the price I paid, I would expect a lot better. when you compare what you can get in Sydney for the same price this is way below acceptable standards. The place should not be listed on any accommodation site. Avoid this place if you have standards as they have none.

There was nothing good about this Hotel

Luke warm water in the bathroom no matter what time of day so I had to boil the electric jug and have sponge baths. Carpets are stained and smelly, cobwebs in the bathroom, toilet was dirty, no cutlery or plates, bowls etc. The fridge was noisy as was the aircon. No microwave either.

Not the ritz but it’s a real place and I did not meet a fake

Staff could be overworked, however Iam uncertain. I did notice that they are friendly and very cool bunch including the cleaner and the manager, both females.

Location is close to beach. Room air-conditioning/heating was good. Wifi was available. Staff was very helpful.

Very small size room and toilet; can hardly walk. No work desk. Small wardrobe.

Although the room was small, it was clean and in good condition. The bed (and pillows) were very comfortable and the shower was beautifully hot. Bonus for having parking on site. Will stay there again on my next trip to Wollongong.

My room key became deactivated and as it was after hours I had trouble contacting anyone to reactivate it. Luckily the on-site staff member turned up and redid it for me. I was picturing sleeping in my car for the night, but luckily not necessary. Moral of story return to hotel during reception hours if any issue is expected. The other issue was on the first night the power point attached to the TV and fridge stopped working and all the food in the fridge wasn't kept cold (luckily it was a cool night), but no issue the second night.
