Excellent apartment - stay for at least a week and explore

It's a spacious apartment, only a short drive from the airport, walking distance into town and close to supermarkets. 45 min drive to Reykjavik and lots of scenic excursions are a short drive away. Approx 30 mins to see the Bridge Between Continents, the lava pools, volcano 2hour drive to Geysir. 1.5 hours to Selfoss and 3hours to Vik. The apartment is an excellent base of operations:) The beds are very comfortable, sauna and outdoor hot tub are amazing. Plenty of towels. The music surround system is very cool. The apartment feels safe and secure. The washing machine and drier are decent so i'd recommend staying for at least a week and packing light and just do laundry as required. Actually, our clothes dried on the radiators in the gym so didn't need the drier. Fernando's is a good local place to order tasty pizza from. General tip: There is a car hire place in Keflavik so you if you're tired from your flight, you could just use the free shuttle to the apartment then sort out car hire later. If you do hire a car at the airport, I'd recommend using Europacar, Hertz or Avis as they have desks at the airport. There are few other places that operate out of a unit 10 mins from the airport and it was a bit of a faff getting shuttled there, sorting out paperwork (which we had to input all our details again even though we had prebooked) and having to drop the car back at 4am for our 6.30am flight. We've hired a car 3 times in Iceland and still find the process a bit murky as there are a lot of different comparison sites and companies who are agents for different car hire companies but they seem to share a pool of cars!

We liked everything. Perhaps the Welcome pack could provide some instructions on the recycling system for the region so we can separate our rubbish correctly. A saucepan with a lid would be useful, but that's not a complaint as we cooked just fine all week.

A bit of luxury at the end of our travelling around Iceland. Smart house in all respects.

Very modern and smart house, all rooms are very spacious. Fancy stay with hot tub, sauna, gym, playstations, electronic sound system, nice coffeemakers…

You cannot find a better place to stay or a better host in Keflavik.

This place was amazing and our host was incredible. You cannot do better .. actually wished I had come earlier and/or stayed longer. The amenities were better than advertised, and our host was wonderful.

Very sleek apartment with high tech.

Super hosts with a great, relaxing place for a larger group.

Great hosts! Very helpful and friendly, and super responsive. Spotless and well stocked apt. Comfortable beds, close to the airport.... who could ask for more!

If I had to be picky (and it is only a very minor point) it is a bit odd to have the bathroom in the home gym portion, and minorly annoying to have to kick out someone from the workout room to use the bathroom.

One night in amazing smart home apartment.

Excellent hosts offer many things to help you to have a great experience. Excellent property close to the airport. Lots of room in amazingly done new smart home. First floor helps, as you do not need to carry your luggage upstairs. Hosts live on the second floor. Sparkling clean and has everything you need for the great experience We stayed just one night as our flight to US was cancelled.

Best place on Iceland to be with a family!!

Outstanding Apartment. The location is perfect. You can easily reach all you need from here and it is close to the airport if you have an early flight back ;-) The home away from home is very clean, cosy and has really everything you need. Specially comforting were the fully equipped kitchen and even a lot of toiletries (schampoo, shower gel, etc) in the bathroom. Much more than one would usually expect from an apartment. BIG kudos to the hosts. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. Contact was nice, friendly and kind in every way. Thank you so much Arnór for everything. We'll be back some day for sure.

Nothing to mention here. Like I said, everything was just perfect. Maybe Arnór should mention more obvious that they also have cars for rent. Better for the business ;-)

Fabulous apartment with extremely welcoming hosts.

Fabulous apartment with wonderful and welcoming hosts. The apartment was extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean. The sauna, hot tub, gym, entertainment system and fully equipped kitchen make this a great place to stay while exploring the area. It is ideally located for the airport and a number of local attractions including the must do Blue Lagoon pools. We would highly recommend this apartment to others and would love to come back and stay again.

Excellent stay

The location is just fine - 5 mn by car from keflavik airport, but there are walking paths too from the airport - and 30mn from Reykjavik. Our hosts were very friendly and waiting for us despite our arrival at 1 am but there is a safety box for the keys and a self check-in can be easyly perfomed. There was complimentary coffee , chocolate and icelandic sparkling tea. The appartment is large, very clean , well designed and very well equiped . We used the sauna and the hot tub too wich is extremely pleasant after a long walk. I have been 5 times in Iceland before and it’s certainely an excellent place to stay and explore the Reykjanes
