We had a great time in Cozumel! We loved our stay and we’re so grateful for this property!

Clean, comfortable and we loved the courtyard. It felt safe and was close to the local market and many places to eat.

The property was great. It was missing some basics supplies like dish washing sponges, coffee filters, and extra trash bags.

A very comfortable and pleasant stay, loved it.

Great place to stay, got everything you might need: a fridge, a full stove, utensils, even a blender and a toaster! Nice patio. Drinking water was provided and they even put some water in the fridge for my arrival =) A huge and pretty comfortable bed and a big TV in the bedroom. Everything was clean. Would love to stay there longer. Supermarket is about 10 mnutes away walking.

The shower head needs either cleaning or replacing. As I noticed the water in this area is pretty hard so when taking shower water was spraying everywhere around, felt like the shower head holes were clogged because of the hard water. It didn't really affect the overall experience though =)

Overall a nice experience, except for the no AC in the living room kitchen.

There is no AC in the main living area or kitchen. it was ver HOT and muggy. AC is only in the bedrooms.

Very cozy place to spend vacation. The house feels like a home..... The back yard makes additional +100 points to this location. Totally recommend.

Best reefs for scuba.

Close to very good restaurants as well as very good local markets. Great wifi. 12-15 minute walk into town.

Apartment was ideal for me. I wouldn't have changed a thing about the apartment or the location.

Nothing like the pictures There are 4 or five separate apartments..This is the back one with the garden .No sitting room just a bedroom and kitchen All old style furniture and mismatched..The only plus was the garden otherwise would have been a 3

we were told to move on last day from a garden apartment to this This is at the side of there house with two horrible apartments at the bottom side by side no sun and only views is of there house right in front

Hidden Gem

The room was large, clean and the apartment was in a good secure location. We could keep our motos inside.

It is kind of far from the downtown, but there are great restaurants nearby with great prices. This place is a really good find. I'll go back. The owner was really nice.

Perfect for the value, great location, spacious apartment

Departamentos de Ileana was exactly what we were looking for on a quick dive trip to Cozumel. The space was clean and had everything you could need. Location was excellent and close enough to downtown but closer to some great local, cheap restaurants. The hosts were friendly and accomodating. AC worked great. I would absolutely stay here again for the value we received. If you wanted to cook the kitchen was stocked and there was nice outdoor space to sit.

Some ants in the kitchen, which is to be expected in a tropical climate. Shower pressure could have been slightly better. Nothing bad enough that I wouldn't come back.

Really enjoyed my stay and will stay again when I visit Cozumel next time.

The host Ileana and her husband were very nice, responsive and appraochable. I like the location. It's only a few minutes walk to the central of Cozumel. The room was clean and nice. There was a space outside to sit, relax and, hang your clothes to dry, Wifi was fast. I will definitely stay at Casa Ileana again if I visit Cozumel next time.

quiet place to enjoy Cozumel

Friendly owner, fast answer on my requests, easy to get there. Owner provided unlimited drinking water, free wifi. Warm blankets are included. A lot of street parking. Ask the owner about rent a car.

Great place and great hosts.

The place and the owners were great. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and quiet. The unit itself was set back from the street as well so felt very private as well. It is a bit of a distance from the main downtown area which is great if you are looking for peace and quiet, but you will probably want a bike (the owners have some) or other means of transportation to get around unless you really like walking (approx. 10 min walk from the downtown area.) Decent kitchen with gas stove which I really liked as well as good wifi.

There were a couple issues with the place when I checked in however the owners responded immediately to the issues and had a repair person out within an hour or two to fix the issues and replaced the broken microwave within a day once I reported it. They had a partial power-loss on the second day of my trip which was an issue with the power company itself. The owner had a person out who was able to re-route some of the electrical to restore partial power which was very helpful. One A/C-less night which wasn't great but again no fault of the owner and they brought an extra fan to help. The only real negative I can think of about the place was that the water pressure was poor. I would also suggest they make it clear how you check-in and out as this isn't clear and I ended up getting lucky as the cleaning lady happened to come outside while I was standing across the street wondering how to check-in.

The hosts were really lovely and took care of us and helped us with everything we needed. They gave us bicycles to make it easy to get around and put us in touch with a car rental company. The place was clean and spacious. Hot water in the shower. In addition, the hosts helped us with recommendations for things to do in the area. We enjoyed the stay very much.

The only thing that was a bit disturbing was the door that was a little difficult to lock and crack with the key.
