My husband, grown son, 2 dogs and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location is convenient to Galveston but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be peaceful. Nice quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. The fenced back yard was perfect for our pups to get out and burn off some energy. The inside of the home is also very dog friendly. This was the perfect place for our weekend get away and we would definitely stay here again. The only small issue I had was poor cell phone signal in the area made it hard to call for check in but the WiFi in the home worked great.

We had a great time and really enjoyed this home! We enjoyed spending time on the upstairs porch and the downstairs area. The downstairs aread provided for alot of shade and has a TV to watch or listen to music. The yard is a great size if you bring a dog. The house is well maintained and fully stocked. Very convenient to the beach. If you do not have a lot to tote down to the beach, it is walkable. Just a side note, there is a regular coffee pot (no Kureig) which is no problem at all just making those coffee drinkers aware.

The pictures do not do it justice. The house is very clean & welcoming. The yard is very nice, the dogs loved the big fenced in yard with thick St. Augustien grass. The breeze on the downstairs patio was always comfortable. We rented a golf cart from the place on the corner hoping we could get our Lab who has a bum rear leg to the beach, (she loves the water) but she wouldn't go anywhere near the cart. We returned it the next morning with that explanation and they still charged us the entire rental price for 5 days. My point is do not rent from this cart company, their carts are loud & rusty not to mention their business practices are not conducive to such a beautiful friendly beach area. Also get a hold of the property manager before your arrival, we had to make several calls and wait for call backs for almost an hour once we arrived. Once established the fellow was very friendly & Helpful. I could of spent the entire summer there. All the comforts of home, & then some.

We really enjoyed our time here, despite the weather. We will definitely be back ASAP.

The house was exactly as described in the listing and the pictures don’t do the home justice. The house is well maintained and clean. My husband, who is hard to please, loved this house and we’re booking it again. We traveled with our six and seven year old daughters and two dogs. The yard was much bigger than expected and made for a happy pet stay. Overall, everyone’s needs were met and we weren’t ready to leave. Will be staying here again.

It was nice clean property with plenty of sleep space. Accommodated party of 6 plus two large dogs. Close enough to the water that you could hear the waves at night. Beautiful location. Had everything you would find at home plus some. We loved it.

This is a well stocked, very clean cabin in a quiet friendly neighborhood. All the neighbors waved and said hello, and there’s an excellent restaurant down the road. Loved the fact we could bring our dogs and they even had dog beds at the cabin! It’s a short walk to the beach. We only stayed a few nights, but if we were there longer and wanted to go to the beach more often we’d probably rent a golf cart. Overall an excellent stay!

Galveston is a special place for us. We come here one or twice a year. We love to VRBO because we like the feel of home away from home. As experience taught us through the years; sometimes ya get what ya get.
We came on the island and made our way down Seawall Boulevard. The Reeves home was easy to locate, and it is a real gem!
The Sea Isle neighborhood is quiet and especially great for families or romantic getaways. There is a marina within walking distance including a bait shop, souvenir shop and two waterfront restaurants with some delicious food and live band.
For us this home is THE SPOT! It’s beautiful, clean and spacious, and it helps that it’s a dog friendly place.
Let me tell you this for starters- the online pictures do not do this place justice!
The home has a fenced in yard, which is particularly nice if you have a dog. You can park your car under the deck, come in through the gate into the beautifully maintained yard and under deck sitting area. The sitting area has a propane fire pit and a couple of comfortable chairs, where you can sit even when it rains as it’s covered. It’s really nice! The stairs lead from the sitting area to a big deck/balcony with rocking chairs and a table and chairs sitting area - the perfect place to chill with a cup of coffee or tea and hear the waves.
At night there are string blue LED lights that light up the balcony/deck, stairs and downstairs areas. It looks beautiful and if you’re Greek like me, well, it’s just downright perfect!
The coordination to get access to the house was simple and once inside, this place continued to impress.
Two bedrooms with one bathroom in the hallway, which I particularly love because anyone in the house can use the bathroom without having to disturb others.
One of the bedrooms has a very comfortable queen size bed, dresser, night stands and its own TV. It is roomy in size. The second bedroom, also roomy, has a nice and sturdy bunk bed and trundle bed, it sleeps easily 4 adult people and the mattress was also very comfortable.
The kitchen, dining and living areas are open concept.
In the living room there is a nice, big and comfy couch, and it turns into a sleeper as well. A nice, big recliner chair, and another sitting area beautifully arranged. The room is not big, but everything is arranged so nicely and does not feel cluttered at all, it feels quite perfect!
In the dining room/ kitchen area there is a table for 6, which ha

The beach house was beautiful, wonderfully decorated, conveniently located near public beach access, the local marina store and food trucks. My children had a blast and I would highly recommend the stay!
