The hotel layout is a bit messy
When I made a reservation for a room on Booking, it was explicitly stated that breakfast was included. But when I arrived at the hotel, the hotel informed me that breakfast was not included. I don't know if Booking is doing false advertising, but the hotel is deceiving customers.

slopeside hotel is great for me as 1 adult w/ two 14 year old boys & two 12 year old girls. It's safe and plenty to do for both the boys & girls. food and fun in the same building. the 5 of us bowling after skiing was a nice end to the day.
you have no control but lack of of snow would be our only complaint.

The resort was great for skiing, the conditions were icy but good and the hotel itself had a variety of restaurants to choose from. They were expensive, but suited what we needed for the weekend.
Hallways were very noisy - we heard lots of commotion from passersby, children, etc. running up and down the halls outside the room. Hard to fall asleep.

Beautiful room location. Staff was very friendly. Balcony room was definitely worth it
Went for winefest weekend. Was excited to stay on the property. Winefest was great. After was not so good. Lots of music for the festival but after the Matterhorn was closed and the foggy goggle had a house music DJ. Only place to get food after was the over priced pizza shop. In the morning the lobby coffee shop was closed and the walk to the other shop was ridiculous. For such a busy weekend I expected more for the hotel guests.

Loved the beds.
Far away from the main areas

I liked the view from the room and the location.
My recent resort stay was a letdown. The closure of on-site shops and SPA left limited options, while the noisy HVAC AC units downstairs made balcony relaxation unbearable. Although the staff was friendly and the rooms clean, these drawbacks overshadowed the positive experience. Also the facilities are in dire need of renovation .

All the activities and how kind and helpful everyone was
No schedule of the stores and restaurants as to hours of operation. Also we had to drive to the stables to find out they were closed to riders for that weekend as there was a bow hunting convention. Noone in the hotel knew of this to just tell us

Location to slopes and everything was indoor walk for most activities. There were a lot of things to do for none snow lovers.
Room was in need of some repairs. Ac control didn't work well. Sink didn't drain well, bathroom door handle loose. Very noisy on 4th Floor.

We had a great time on the slopes, the room was clean and overall had a great experience! I only have a qualm with the value of our stay. The slopeside hotel is pretty tired and our very basic room was $250/night without included breakfast. Speaking of, we encountered a very mediocre buffet at the slopeside restaurant with food that could easily be beaten by a coffee chain drive through…. for $20 a person. In contrast, the Bavarian had great dinner options that weren’t quite as overpriced. Despite prices, we had a great getaway for some awesome skiing!
