Apart from lack of sleep the hotel was very nice.

Nice restaurant

Location opposite nightclub and burger bar. On a Saturday night this meant there was incessant noise right through to the early hours of the morning preventing sleep for any one occupying a room opposite.

Excellent hotel in a wonderful location.

Beautiful modern hotel centrally located. The rooms were an excellent size with all great facilities and very comfortable. Car parking on site with very easy access. The hotel is located near to the main shopping areas and cafes. Wonderful cafes on site and a great view from the rooftop bar

We booked two nights originally with car parking and extended that by booking directly with the hotel for one more night. Despite specifying car parking and they seeing the car, showing us how to access the car park, they didn’t charge for the car park until mentioned on the day we were leaving, when we handed in the key. Never before has this happened. Car parking, when requested is always included in the payment when made at the hotel.

A gem in Invercargill

Arriving into Invercargill from Mount Cook The Langlands Hotel was perfectly easy to locate. Upon arrival I was greeted with valet parking and concierge service, neither expected but greatly appreciated. The view of Invercargill from the room at night was simply stunning.

Having trouble identifying anything that may have been better, perhaps more milk in the fridge, but thats a personal request. The whole experience for me was supurb.

Very pleasant, modern hotel, would recommend it, and would visit again.

Lovely modern hotel room with comfortable bed and linens, plenty of room, good soundproofing and air conditioning, all you need in a room.

Parking on site is expensive, you could probably park cheaper or for free locally. Did not find the bar staff very friendly, but the reception staff were lovely and very helpful.

Terrible noisy poor sound proofing

Friendly staff, comfy bed, clean

The constant noise of the boy racers all night, the Boeing 747 heating unit which was equally noisy. Worst sleep ever even with ear plugs I would never stay again. No actual air flow as no opening windows

Excellent and enjoyable

The Langlands was exceptional, with friendly, helpful staff, we had an afternoon coffee and cake; dinner and breakfast, all were really nice, well cooked and great service. Would definitely return if we were staying in the city again.

New Year 2024 in Invercargill.

Location in the city centre. Beautifully decorated, clean and welcoming room with separate showers and bath. Secured car park facilities.

This was a last minute booking but we were really pleased with our stay

The room was light and airy , with great facilities, including usb charging points. The bathroom was luxurious ,and it was the best nights sleep we have had since being in NZ !

Das erste Haus am Platz in einer modernen Version und mit sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern

Sehr chices Hotel, sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, tolles Frühstück(!) in ganz zentraler Lage. Das Hotel ist neben der neuen Shopping-Mall das Zentrum von Invercargill. Es handelt sich mit Sicherheit um das beste Haus am Platze und ist unbedingt zu empfehlen.

Nichts. Alles war sehr gut. Wir kommen sehr gerne immer wieder.

Inner City luxury

This is an outstanding hotel and an asset to the city of Invercargill. The 360 Bar is such a fantastic spot with superb cocktails to enjoy as you look over the cityscape. The restaurants are fabulous and the selection, price points and servings are all impressive. We thoroughly enjoyed our night and would recommend to anyone.

We did notice a bit of street noise from some of the louder locals and their cars.

The Staff were super friendly, from Reception thru to the cafe, decor was very nice & the room was very well thought out, spacious & comfy. Brewd was perfect for brekkie the next day with a delicious range of food & drink options. Parking was ideal & overall location perfect for our visit

The corner room was fantastic.good views, very clean and a well thought out set up.Dimmers yes!!,and tech was up to date .

Suprised not to see USB plugs as standard nowadays,but only noticed because I left my charger behind.

Perfect holiday break.

The warm welcome as soon as you entered the hotel. The presentation of drinks and food at the hotel. The beautiful linen used in the rooms. The tasty food we had in the hotel restaurants. The entire staff who made everything so nice for us.
