Situated in Toowoomba, this lovely cottage for $104 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. The Cranley! Separate air-conditioned dwelling with private courtyard and veranda overlooking a family pool. Rural views and garden areas to enjoy. Goats, ducks and chickens add to the country experience. Polished floors, high ceilings with lots of natural light make this a quiet and tranquil place to stay. Minutes to 'O'Donnell' Bakehouse and Wilsonton Shops & Hotel. Approx 8 kilometres to Toowoomba City (15 mins) to Grand Central in Margaret St. The property is situated on almost 2 acres. It has 1 acre of gardens and lawn at the front that can be accessed by the guests. We have 2 small goats, quite a few chickens, 1Indian Runner duck, a dog Lily, and a couple of Guinea pigs that give some extra interest to the property. The gardens are being developed, and are enthusiastically enjoyed by visitors. It is a peaceful, country setting with several different areas around the property to stop and relax. We have a vegetable patch that guests are welcome to harvest and enjoy the produce while they are here. Please help yourself.

We loved staying here! The place was very clean and has a lovely homey feel - there were tim tams and milk in the fridge on arrival ready for us to have a cup of tea, and toys and storybooks on the shelf which our son loved :) We all enjoyed exploring the gardens and property, patting the guinea pigs, watching the chooks and goats, picking mulberries off the tree and swimming in the pool! A perfect little getaway! Thank you! We will definitely be back :)

Cranley Garden Retreat would suit a small family or a couple. The cottage itself is very private and has a spacious living area with fireplace, raked timber ceilings with feature beams and a polished timber floor. A highlight is the outdoor area with pool, flower and vegetable gardens and chickens, ducks and goats which give it a country feel. It would suit a short or longer stay.

We will be back, the kids loved it. We did not leave the property all weekend, as the kids wanted to be with the animals and play on the trampoline.

We really enjoyed our getaway to Heather’s lovely holiday home. Everything was clean & ready; it was easy to access, and accurate as per listing. The fire was wonderful and we enjoyed having our own space out of town, yet we were still close enough to all the locations we needed to get to. The hosts are very welcoming and we would highly recommended staying here. (2 adults and 2 teens) Thank you!

The property was semi rural there were goat’s, horses, chooks & ducks. It was very quiet & peaceful, beautiful gardens. We really enjoyed our few days at Cranley Cottage

This would have to be one of the best holidays my children and I have had - beautiful location, accessibility, 'homely' items, treat left for us, animals, pool, veggie garden, cottage garden, open space, privacy, friendly and helpful hosts... need I say more! From the first impression at checkin, to the end of the stay, our expectations and needs were met and exceeded. The beautiful meandering garden pathways that lead between the cottage, veggie gardens, animals, lawn, BBQ/fire pit area and pool are simply magical. The cottage itself immaculately clean and well appointed. The hosts incredibly friendly and helpful, all the while giving all the privacy one might need. We loved the cottage and the animals, the generous access to the veggie garden and chickens eggs, the view in every direction and proximity to town. Our stay was perfect. Sincerely, a happy Mom and two busy young children.

We really enjoyed staying at Cranley and using it as a base from which to explore Toowoomba and the small towns in the area. The WiFi was fast enough for our needs and Netflix was a bonus during the very wet weather on our first couple of days! The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for our needs. Heather and Rod are very good hosts and we will happily recommend Cranley for couples and families.

My friend & I had a very enjoyable stay at this property & will return. The second bedroom is tiny but the view from the top bunk made up for it 😊 The main bedroom & the living areas are spacious. We enjoyed our ‘happy hours’ in the courtyard & on the verandah. (Be prepared with insect repellent tho). The garden in September was a delight - full of flowering plants & a variety of birds. The cottage is about a 15 minute drive to the CBD but there is a shopping centre (includes Coles & Woolworths) about 5 mins away at Wilsonton.

We had a great time at Heather's place. The place was spotless and we felt very comfortable with the fact that it was a child-friendly place. Our little man had lots of fun. I would highly recommend it for those with (or without) little ones.

It was beautiful house with everything you needed. Can not forget the calm and refreshing lands, pants and all. Room one room was small but since only used for sleeping, no issues, spacious kitchen and lounge. We enjoyed thoroughly and felt like did get enough time to enjoy. Hope to be back soon and enjoy this beautiful house. Thank you Heather for everything.

The cottage itself was spacious and comfortable. Great for a couple. The 2nd bedroom is tiny, fits a bunk bed and not even room for a bedside table or anything else at all. The other single bed is in the main living area. Bathroom is very tired. But on the whole clean and a lovely view.

A very spacious and comfortable little cottage. The beds were very soft and comfortable and the shower hot and strong. We had very little interaction with the host and only just met her as she returned from a walk as we were about to drive out. We were a little disappointed that there was not much wood made ready in the fireplace and we scrounged a bit for kindling to get the fire started, but achieved a lovely fire in the end. Overall a cosy, comfortable stay.

Property was absolutely suitable for our needs. Nothing missing, even included games and books which provided great entertainment when the very active grandchildren visited. Bed was comfortable as were the, lounges. Fire going when we arrived on a cold day was much appreciated. After all the rain we didn't get to check out the garden or the animals, apart from afar, but there has certainly been a lot of work put into it and that is an ongoing project. Owners are nearby and very pleasant but certainly not intrusive. We would certainly stay there again. Highly recommended.
