The rooms, hotel equipment, swimming pool, meal (catering) met my expectations - standard for such resort

The room was missing e.g. written information about TV programs, setting and controlling the air conditioning. The beach chairs are often occupied by the towels early in the morning (sometimes all day without people), it was a problem to find a free chairs.

The hotel is perfect for relaxing in the Crete with a pool, beach, drinks and some entertainment. The whole staff was extremely kind and helpful. Also the location directly at the Amoudara Beach is great. We spent wonderful time there

The plastic kettle in the room added a strange taste to a tea.

Beautiful Hotel , located on the beach . Room cleaned everyday absolutely immaculate the staff there do a fantastic job !!! We stayed as part of our honeymoon could not have asked for better . Food was fantastic great selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner all cooked fresh.

Nothing I didn't like , wines weren't great with the all inclusive however that wasn't a problem if you want good wine you need to pay more

It is extremely noisy! We stayed directly above the reception on the first floor. Because of all the hard surfaces (tiles, wood etc) you can hear everything!! Inside and outside the hotel room, terrible.

Wonderful location, facilities, and service was all first rate. The food was great and the pool and beach access were wonderful. Would definitely stay there again.

location was very good. staff was very unfriendly and mechanical. food was meh as they repurposed leftover lunch items for dinner a couple of times (pasta sauce at lunch became rice dish at dinner).

The location was excellent on a beach that you could walk both ways a great distance. And the hotel upgraded us to a very nice room overlooking the sea with a large balcony (pictured) and the overall condition of the hotel is good and the location beyond being on the sea is good as well, about a 3 mile drive from the venitian harbor. However, if you have been to an all inclusive in the Caribbean, Mexico, or etc, do not expect the all inclusive to be like that. The room prices were fairly reasonable for an all inclusive hotel, but simply stated the food was not good And we ate away from the hotel for dinner each evening because of it and the drinks were bottom shelf. Absolutely don’t choose this hotel based on the all inclusive but if you want a nice place on the beach and the prices are similar to non all inclusive it may be for you. it was hard for me to get over the all inclusive, so I rated this the lowest of the six hotels we stayed at during our 17 days in Crete

All inclusive food program with below average, and the liquor was bottom shelf. You even had to pay a premium if you wanted a corona beer

Neptune Beach Hotel is not at all what it looks like in the photos. This hotel is not even for two stars. Reception 0. The food is not good at all. The drinks are disgusting. Minos beer, this beer is not disgusting even on the Internet. Cocktails are disgusting. I was very disappointed with this hotel. The only good thing is that every day was very clean in the room. The cleaning is great. The rooms are super nice. There is a very nice sea view. Also, the cups are made of plastic, even washed properly, there are traces of lipstick and grease on them. Everything in this hotel is disgusting. Beach towels are also available at an additional cost. There is no chandelier in the room. You have to pay extra to drink good alcohol. The one offered by the hotel is not good today you drink tomorrow you are sick. It is better to buy something from the nearby supermarket for drinking than to drink there at the hotel

We stayed at hotel for 5 days with my husband and child. Our room had enough space and had everything needed. Wifi is free for the hotel guests. There was also a balcony with a clothes dryer, which is very useful as you can hang there your swimwear. The furnishing and interior design of our room however was austere and very simple. Didn't look like a typical (as for Europe) room in a four star hotel. Although for us it didn't matter and we were pretty satisfied with our room. Overall hotel looked clean and new. Rooms were cleaned each day. The food was really good. There were two breakfasts, lunch and dinner. Each time we had a great variety of dishes to choose from. There were also three types of vine, beer and various juices. Lounge bar near the pool offering several cocktails, alcoholic and soft drinks was open all the day. Hotel stuff was very friendly and helpful. They really payed attention to details. E.g., since we arrived with a small child, there were electrical socket safety covers in our room plugged into all the sockets. Location is great. Hotel has its own sand beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas. There were also two pools: one big for adults/bigger children and one small for toddlers.

There were not enough electric sockets in our room. There was only one socket near the bed, located from one side. It was very inconvenient since one of us had to place their phone on a table located opposite to the bed in order to charge it. Air conditioning was weak. We had to set it to 16 degrees in order to get a normal temperature about 23-25 degrees. Hotel safe is paid. It's confusing that in four star hotel and with all inclusive option you need to pay extra for such a basic thing. Also, the safe itself looked old and had just a simple key lock - no code or some other more advanced protection.

The staff was very friendly, delicious food, nice beach even thought not enough sunbeds.

The quality of drinks (wine, cocktails) could be better. Also quite boring for couples in the evening (we were on a mini honeymoon), so every night we were doing something outside of the hotel.

Hotel, restaurant and room have been very clean. Staff is very careful and cleans everything and COVID measures are being respected. The room is decently sized, cleaned everyday by the maid. Good location right on the beach. Super clean & nice pool, staff careful to clean all cups from the beach. I think the bad reviews should go to management and not the staff as the people working here with the customers are doing their job well and we liked that !

Not enough beach chairs for all the guests. Guests would go early in the morning, put their towels on the chairs then leave and come back later thus "reserving" the chairs for themselves. Pool closed from 7-8 PM although there is still staff around to watch the pool in case of emergency. Checkout is at 11 PM and not 12 as stated on booking and on their website. We have been literally forced out of the hotel and they called twice informing we need to leave now and not at 12. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE ! We felt thrown out of the hotel, we packed our bags quickly when we found out the checkout is not at midday as stated on their website & on booking. All food was average at best ! VERY BAD coffee, seriously it tasted like water with diluted coffee aroma. I haven't had this bad coffee ever I think. We ended up buying coffee from a shop nearby. VERY BAD GREEN olives... in the country of olives, seriously... In the place where olives are the best they are serving the cheapest possible and bad olives I have ever tasted in a long long time, such a pity ! VERY BAD and super super cheap tasting sausages. All these combined tells a lot about their food quality as they are doing the best to have the cheapest available. In all fairness not all food was bad, some of it was good too and the deserts were really good. Pasta was also good and salad. All drinks were shameful. Apple juice means water + concentrated aroma = apple juice which means a lot of cheap chemicals with bad taste. All juices were the same. Going on a holiday to drink cheap chemicals... simply wonderful. Wine was bad, we bought a 3 EUR, 2 L bottle of wine from a shop as we were curious if the Cretan wine was this bad. It was quite very good, just the wine at the hotel was very bad with a strange smell overall. I just can't understand how you can serve guests drinks this cheap.
