For me this is the best Hotel for the Maboneng Lifestyle, I have recently stayed on the 26 May 23, On arrival I was met by a lady at reception she gave me my keys and went with me to open my room, the bad thing was the light that was off on the Corido and she did say it will be fixed, later I Met Bonga by the LIFT and told him about the light, 5 min later Bonga had fixed it, Room was clean with coffee Amenities, What more could you want from them because you are there to Party not Sleep , the Hotel is best enough to provide you the safety you need, Can you guys put WIFI maan no ways remember we take lots of pictures. Bonga is awesome maan and so are the ladies I saw. I will definitely go back again

Only recommended if you're not planning on sleeping and like it when strangers watch you shower.

The follow-up correspondence was nice and easy. The street has some nice restaurants and a cool vibe. The beds were comfortable and the room was mostly clean.

· Prior to arrival the hotel sent us messages in caps lock that we should take an Uber if we arrive via the Park station, which we tried to do, turns out Ubers don't stop there because of beef with taxi drivers and while waiting for the Uber that eventually cancelled, we got robbed. As we arrived to the hotel, we were greeted by *the most* obnoxious security guard. The bath was dirty and the shower was beside a window with no curtain so the entire neighbourhood could watch us take a shower. The noise up until the early morning hours was unbearable even when we slept with earplugs in. The internet connection was very poor. The smell in the fridge was horrendous! The iron and the ironing board were dirty and there was a lot of dust. The entire building is huge and I didn't feel safe there. Upon check out, there was no one at reception apart from the security guard who was again very rude. Also, our room was far from anything "designer", looked more like the inside of a charity shop.

Good, comfortable place to stay at for one week if you want to get around Johannesburg.

Excellent, central location for getting around Johannesburg. Staff were helpful in providing suggestions in navigating the city.

There is only one elevator, so sometimes guests had to wait to use it.

Great stay at spacious apartment! Definite value for money.

This place looks just like the photos also it's very spacious with a great view. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay at Maboneng.

The pictures used do not represent the actual rooms, also the staff was dodgy when we preffered to check out earlier, they denied recieving email about this from booking.com and we saw it, they are very dishonest

Thami was very rude and unprofessional.

The lady Thami that helped us settle in was very rude and had the worst attitude I've ever come across. Not professional at all!! Our memory of our stay there was ruined by her attitude!

The place was just awful.

Firstly our room had smelly carpets. Secondly the TV was not working. Apparently that was not part of our package. The apartment had no air conditioning, only a fan. The windows' blinds were a black canvass (probably part of the art theme) were facing what looked like another block of rooms/flats. The people from the other block could see right through our room if the blinds were opened. I left the place within the first hour after arriving and decided to book elsewhere.

aside from the problems the entire property is amazing and I would definitely return just for the space. regardless of how we were treated

The service to get to it was not. I called days prior and was not able to reach. I called on the day and the same thing occurred. then I was told by building security to find them at a different location up the road. I asked for an early heck prior but my requests were left unanswered and ended up waiting a couple hours for my booking to be ready. lastly they assumed we knew where the location of the booking is, unaware that the actual property is split into multiple buildings within walking distance, but none of them are labelled. Also the noise on the weekend is unbearable you literally sleeping at the club.

Stellar room in a very noisy neighbourhood.

Great room that certainly was over the top in all it offered.

I guess I would strongly encourage the hotel to note that especially for the Copper Room but likely for all rooms that ihe noise level till 2am or 3am is very very very loud. For those who are young and in the bars no issue but otherwise the noise even with ear plugs is very bothersome.

Area was good, the room & service bad.

was next to maboneng and next to restaurants. and easily accessible.

Room had no shower doors, we had to always mop after showering, was noisy expected them to make means to have room to reduce noise as next to clubs, wifi and tv, not working, dstv was not working.

Horrible, gruesome and traumatising

unpleasant odour. place looks neglected and not well taken care off. Walls are dirty , tv was not connected, there was no iron or a kettle. We came as a couple to find 1 dinner plate & no wine glasses. The paint on the wall is peeling of . Reception is bad. Bathroom water pipes are rusted . The headboard is falling apart . I felt as I was in a haunted house . I would like a full refund as I was ripped off . You basically falsely advertised your place
