If your room face the shops, the noise from the nigh club was so loud you cannot sleep at all during the weekend. Need to complaint to the Manager to change room in the middle of the night. The manager was really helpful.

Comfortable clean hotel, comfortable beds. Convenient. No frills. Restaurant just ok. The hotel served the purpose for our stay. Staff did not go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Hard to be negative. But equally hard to be complimentary.

Location is a plus point. Beach front is absolutely fabulous. Pay for parking which I don't appreciate. Very comfortable room and beds. Almost new building and modern facilities.

Having parking (that wasn’t valet service) off site was not very convenient. Stay was mostly good however if they could turn off the annoying music in the lifts and gym, that would be great.

This is a somewhat new property. It is located centrally in Devonport. Whereas it is new there are some issues that, in my opinion, should have been addressed before opening. We specifically booked this property because it had parking at the property, which was important to us. On arrival at the property, we saw that a car park was built into the property. We pulled into the very limited space available in front of the building whilst we checked in. Because the parking was so very limited I stayed with the car whilst my wife went to check in. After a very long 20 minutes and informed me that the parking for the property was approximately 1/2 kilometre up the road! This is not on their web page so be advised!! After booking in we entered the lift with our luggage along with 2 other couples also with luggage. The lift has 2 touchpads to choose which floor (R L) but each guest had also to swipe their room card to have the lift accept their floor. Unfortunately, there is one 1 swipe point in the lift to allow this to happen. Of course, all the luggage from the 3 couples ended up completely blocking this swipe point. Chaos ensued while the entire lift was rearranged so we could get to our respective rooms!. Every other hotel I have stayed at has 2 swipe points to alleviate this issue. Unsure why the person designing this lift didn't think of this! Don't get me started on the pathetic WIFI speed (3mps max)!

Location perfect for staying in Devonport. Lovely amenities very and clean. Room spacious and bright. Slight criticism of the in house restaurant. Simple snacks would have been preferred. Staff were skilled (good handling of difficult guests!) and also friendly. Would recommend.

This brand new hotel in the heart of Devonport had a spacious room, extremely comfortable beds, a great shower and our rate included breakfast which was a full buffet, even if you aren’t staying at the Novotel Devonport you can still pay separately for the breakfast. We stayed during winter and the room was really warm. We paid the hotel directly for secure undercover parking and had no issues parking our large vehicle.
