Davorka, the owner, kindly met me half way from ferry. Spotlessly clean modern room with ensuite and compact sink/ hob unit by entrance door. Communal entrance/staircase leading to room. Huge balcony facing inland to trees and road out of village. Balcony had retractable canopy when sunny. Large quadrant shower, good hot water supply. Small quiet village Three restaurants and shop all near harbour/ferry. Bus service (mainly 2 or 3 a day) to other villages and good beach. Can be walked. Owner allowed me to remain in room a short while after normal checkout as I had arranged a later lift.

Nearly no sea view. Small gap between two other adjacent houses showed the sea. Only free toiletry was hand wash. No sofa (no room for one). Only cleaning product was washing up liquid and scouring sponge. No desk (but dining table with two chairs). No inside seating area (2 loungers on balcony but it did rain). No ironing facilities. No coffee machine. No iron. No alarm clock. No toaster, but sandwich maker supplied. No clothes rack but single washing line on balcony with pegs. Water pressure varied. At one point insufficient for a shower. Was ok later. Only one direct ferry to Bozava from Zadar at 15.00 (varies at weekends). Return is 5.50 on the morning!

Everything was great. Well equipped and spacious rooms. Shops and restaurants are close by.

Parking a little difficult at first with bigger cars.

Apartment was very nice and comfortable. Really nice bathroom. Very clear,every stuff for cooking in kitchen has been available.

The air condition is in room with one bed and couch,so not so much cold air in room with double bed.

Owners friendly, location amazing, apartment very clean and nice, has everything you need 😊

I slipped into the sea on the first evening, which caused some issues with my phone. The guy who works at the supermarket (who we had met earlier that evening and who had dinner with us) was friendly enough to open up the shop (even tho it was 23:00 already) to sell me some rice. He lived in the house next to the apartment so he walked us back to the apartment and we offered him a drink while we tried to save my phone. We tried to dry the phone with the hair dryer and put it in rice. But all a sudden the owner opened the door and he started SCREAMING at us in Croatian! (He doesn’t speak a single word of English.) Because I didn’t want any issues I asked the guy from the supermarket, who had been nothing but friendly to us, to leave. Afterwards, my friend and I decided to go for a walk, since we hadn’t even seen anything of the island yet. When we came back from our walk we realized the owner had locked the front door! And since he only gave us a key to the apartment door upstairs and not for the front door on the first floor, we had no possibility to get inside! We had to call his daughter and her reaction gave us the impression this man acts like this more often. She called him and then he opened the door without saying a word to us. This whole thing really affected my holiday and experience from this island. Also, it was the end of the high season and many (younger) people have told us that the people on this island are only friendly to tourists during the peak of high season. And we definitely noticed!!! Most of the (older) locals treated us really bad. It was extremely difficult to rent a scooter and to book any tour, even though high season wasn’t officially over yet.

Nice town. Clean and so quite flat. The kitchen and the bathroom was up to date.

Would have been nice to have a dishwasher.
