Afternoons filled with family fun in the sun. Sunsets and refreshing drinks by the pool. THIS is beachfront living! Welcome to beautiful Indian Rocks Beach, a small community known for immaculate white sand beaches that are family-friendly, incredible natural wildlife, and close proximity to amazing attractions up and down the Gulf coast. This vacation oasis surrounded on both sides by water is also home to our boutique beach getaway, a fully renovated and recently updated 2 bedroom, 2 bath townhouse with direct beach access outside and every vacation amenity waiting inside. Upon entering your eyes linger for a moment on the cozy, coastal cottage decor...then travel directly to the view from the wide living room patio (Note: one of the two sliding patio doors does remain locked for optimal guest safety). The patio overlooks lush tropical gardens and sand dunes that flow right into the quiet beach and azure blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. A modern, state-of-the-art kitchen, breezy and open living/dining room layout and full bathroom complete the entry level. Upstairs, each spacious, beachy bedroom has a water view-- one directly facing the ocean, the other facing our private dock on the intracoastal waterway. Along with a king size bed in the master bedroom two queen size beds in the second bedroom can accommodate additional guests. This unit comes fully equipped-- sheets, towels, complete kitchen accessories, TV, central heat/air, beach chairs, etc. Also included are full cable service and internet access at no additional charge. The private, beachside pool is heated and well-appointed for relaxing or grilling, with the adjoining sand dunes providing a gorgeous natural barrier to the pristine beach just steps away. And oh, that beach... whether you're into shell collecting or water sports, swimming or lounging with a good book, this is the place! Best of all, a recent beach renourishment program has tripled the size of the sugary white sand at your doorstep. Unlike many of the busy neighboring resorts along Gulf Blvd, The Happy Fiddler is a small boutique property located in the highly desirable "Narrows" section of IRB, with no other homes or condo developments facing it. That lack of foot traffic means stepping onto a stretch of beach that always feels quiet and private, regardless of the time of year. But when you're ready to see the sights, this property is just a short two-minute walk to the area's fun beachy restaurants, ice cream shops and shopping district. Those interested in further exploring the coast in search of adventure won't have to travel far: the Tampa Zoo, Busch Gardens and Adventure Island are close day visits; nearby downtown St Petersburg has the world renowned Dali museum and a host of smaller museums, galleries and parks along its charming waterfront marina; gorgeous Clearwater Beach, with it's incredible nature preserves and famous Marine Aquarium are just 20 minutes up Gulf Blvd; and various charming smaller towns like arty Dunedin and Mediterranean-flavored Tarpon Springs are close as well. Great location within walking distance to several restaurants! Loved having our own parking spot. The condo was clean and had a beautiful view! The sunset is gorgeous! My recommendation to other guests would be to stop at the Dollar Tree and buy dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, paper towel, and trash bags. You are only provided with one trash bag and two dishwashing tablets for your entire stay. You’ll need to do towels because you are only given one hand drying towel in downstairs bathroom and two kitchen towels. No hand towels upstairs. You get a total of 8 large towels for the entire week. But not enough wash cloths for bathing and drying hands. I would still absolutely recommend this beautiful place but you’re going to need to go to the store to make sure the place stays clean while you’re there! My family and I stayed in the room with two beds. The beds are very loud though. My friends stayed in the king size bed and said the mattress absolutely killed their backs. So, if you have back trouble, I’d suggest sleeping in the room with two beds.

Nice property. The bedrooms upstairs do share a full bathroom. The shower and toilet were having some issues. And for this girl who likes a softer bed, the king bed in the master was very uncomfortable. But that’s a me thing. But I think all the beds could probably use an upgrade. Could use some fixing of things that are broke, like the blinds upstairs in both bedrooms and the patio sliding door that wouldn’t open all the way, so that was a bummer. But we made do. The condo is lovely decorated and has that great beach feel which I loved. Also loved being right on the ocean. And the pool was fantastic. Gas grill by the pool area and never more than one person grilling. We’ve stayed in the area for the last five years. This was the most expensive condo we’ve rented but I feel with the lack of attention to things that were broken and no washer and dryer inside the condo, we overpaid. Our choice though because we were late booking a place. So I guess for the price, I would expect a little more. But I chose to overlook the negative and we enjoyed our time and had a great spring break.

My family and I loved this condo and property. Description and pictures were perfect. So pretty and relaxing. The area was not overcrowded. We enjoyed all aspects of our vacation. Absolutely would rent this condo again in the future!!

My family of 6 stayed here for 2 weeks and loved every min of it! There was plenty of space for everyone! The girls actually loved sharing a room again lol. The views where amazing, we even saw Dolphins jumping while we were drinking coffee in the balcony, had Manatees swim right on the beach were we could touch them, sting rays everywhere (just for a day or two, but so cool) We did beach and pool everyday! Would jump from beach and pool all day. Everyone there was so friendly, our girls even found some amazing friends I hope that lasts a lifetime! Our first day, there was a younger crowd that was a few doors down that was clearly drinking way too much, music was very loud, they were yelling mostly all day, thankfully that was their last day. The rest of the time was so relaxing and perfect! Families mostly. The only thing I would say about management was, we had a wasp nest on our balcony and we went down and asked it it could be taken down so no one gets stung. I was told “yes but I can’t get to it right away” which no big deal we had plans all day. But we went to the pool later in the evening and noticed a sign on the door that the manager went on vacation and wouldn’t be back for a week. And the nest was never removed. Luckily on one was stung. But all things we would definitely go back in a heartbeat. Already looking at dates for next year!

The location is what made this a 4 star review. But the place is in needed of some TLC. Note on sliding door states it is broken and not to use the right side. Seems like the note has been there for a longtime. Multiple lightbulbs burned out. I actually replaced them so we had lights in the rooms our first night there. The place is for 6 people but only had 2 beach chairs and one folding lounge chair. Pretty hard to bring our own beach chairs on the airplane. No washer and dryer in unit. The washer and dryers are on the first floor I would not trust them with my clothes. Mattresses are BAD!! My daughters starting having backpain every morning on the 3rd day. If the owner would just do some minor things this place would be 5+ stars.

We had a very good time at this apartment. We didn't spend much time on the beach because it was too cold, but the view of the water and the sunsets every evening were great to watch. The apartment is very well equipped and it located in a nice part of Indian Rocks.

The location was amazing! The views are magnificent. This is a very cozy condo that we thoroughly enjoyed. I was disappointed there was not a broom/dustpan or a vacuam in the unit. When you are oceanfront and tracking in sand it would be nice to be able to sweep it up. The walls were visibly dirty and needed to be wiped down along with doors and baseboards. The views of this condo and location to the beach made it though. It was nice that beach chairs and beach towels were in the condo so we did not need to bring those. The decor was so cute! We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back!

I would recommend any one wanting to have a relaxing vacation to come here. The place was clean and the owners made sure we had everything we needed. The on-site property manager and her husband were by far the best.

The only discomforts we found with the Unit we stayed in, was that the beds in both bedrooms where too hard for us, also the A/C had a sign on it to limit the Temp setting to 72°F or the evaporator unit would freeze up, (a clue that the evaporator/condenser units aren't matched properly). We came from the Cincinnati, OH. area and even in the Winter we turn down the Thermostat to 67°F for Sleeping. We may be back to the Fiddler, but we'll try a different Unit.

Beautiful views of the gulf and the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. The unit had everything we needed for a beach vacation. Nice updates through out the unit and the pool area was spotless. Loved having a manager on site for any questions or concerns. Hope to be back soon!

Our decision to spend Christmas in IRB at this condo was 100% correct. The condo has a great layout and the view of the sunset every evening was awesome. Great location with restaurants and a CVS within walking distance. Beach is very private and just amazing. Saw dolphins going along the shore and went deep sea fishing out of John’s Pass about 20 minutes south of the condo. You can’t go wrong with this rental.

My family and I enjoyed this property so much. It is right on the beach in a smaller complex. The grounds are kept up well, the pool is heated and the view is spectacular. The condo was beautiful, it had everything we needed: beach chairs, toys, coolers, towels and more. We grilled out every night and enjoyed the sound if the waves crashing on the beach.
