165+ private feet of direct lake frontage, with dock, grill, kayak
About this house rental
If you’re looking for the perfect, private location on Keuka Lake with one of the best views, you have found it at O’Cottage! This one-of-a-kind rustic, seasonal cottage is nestled off the end of the private extension of East Bluff Drive on a level lakeside lot. There is no drive-by traffic and no visible neighbors to one side of this lot (but the home is accessed by a VERY steep driveway and 4WD is recommended). A warm and inviting space greets you as you enter the home into the kitchen. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a glass cook top stove, and granite countertops (please note that there is no d/w). You can enjoy the beautiful gas fireplace as you prepare meals and gather with your family and friends. Just off the kitchen is a full bath with tub/shower combo. Two more separate living areas, both tastefully furnished, provide enough space for the entire family to relax. A beautiful set of pine barn doors add an eclectic touch, and can be closed for privacy if the adults wish to gather in one space to chat and enjoy a glass of Finger Lakes wine, as the children play or watch a movie in the third living room. A staircase off of this room leads to a private bedroom on the 2nd floor. This bedroom features a Queen size bed, and a great view of the lake. The second staircase leading to the 2nd floor is located off the kitchen. The other three bedrooms are located on this side of the house. There are two queen bedrooms; one of the queen bedrooms features a small TV with a DVD player. We like to use the third floor for the kids; it has a queen bed and four singles; here, they have privacy and a cozy space to themselves. You can enjoy the view of the lake from all three bedrooms! A full bath with shower is conveniently located to these bedrooms on the second floor. The lakefront at this property is unlike any other, and where you will want to spend most of your time! With two gradual entrances to the lake, you can wade in the shallow water and children can enjoy the perfect spot for splashing and swimming. A picnic table is located lakeside, where you can gather for meals or a game of cards. Bring your fishing poles. You can fish off the dock, or take the kayak (kayak only available May 15-September 30) out and enjoy the scenery. Relax in the Adirondack chairs and tell stories around a campfire. Watch for shooting stars under the clear night’s sky. Just minutes from local restaurants, wineries and shops, yet set in a location where you can privately enjoy your vacation, O’Cottage is the vacation destination you have been waiting for! The cottage was renovated in 2005 and is lovingly maintained and updated each year. This is a smoke-free and pet-free home. If you'd like to see more photos or want to take a walking tour, please visit us on Facebook or Linkedin. We rent full weeks on a Saturday-to-Saturday schedule during the summer months, which run from the last week of June through Labor Day. Please note that O'Cottage is a seasonal and rustic cottage (there is no central heat and there is no a/c and, like many lake cottages, there is neither a d/w nor washer/dryer) and is closed for the winter from October 31-April 15. While there is a lot of information here for which I apologize, satisfied and informed guests are the goal! Please read this thoroughly along with the rental agreement and ask any questions before booking, as this is a non-refundable reservation (please consider the purchase of travel insurance for your protection). Our cottage is equipped with a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and hand soap. Guests bring their own sheets and towels. Security cameras of the grounds are in use. A signed rental agreement and proof of state-issued ID is required after booking. (Kayak available May 15 - September 30. Use of kayak is at guests’ own risk)

This property was so cute! Beautiful location! The driveway was definitely steep but our vehicles managed. A little bit of a bug problem, but I guess that’s what you get when living on a lake. Anastasia was extremely helpful, and a pleasure to work with!

Great communal space for the family. Bathrooms/sleeping areas not easily accessible for elderly guests. Overall very comfortable and beautiful views. Landlord was very responsive to any and all questions. She was awesome.

Five friends and I enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, cozy, and Anastasia was always reachable for any questions. A few things of note — the house is much smaller than it appears in pictures. Also, one of the living rooms and bedrooms has exposed electrical wires throughout. The driveway is treacherous! Watch out for the trees, stay on the cement tread. Even with warning in the description, we had difficulty getting our 4-wheel drive cars up and down. One of the cars we had was a minivan, and it’s size made it difficult to maneuver and avoid trees, as not only is the driveway steep, but there is a curve to it. I don’t see how 4 cars could fit, unless they were small. We had 3. If one of my friends had brought her Yukon it wouldn’t have made it down. All of that said, we greatly enjoyed ourselves. The view on the water is beautiful!

We had a great week at keuka lake. Cottage had everything we needed for the week. It was spacious & comfortable for our family of 8. Location is premium! Will definitely be back!

We had a great time and really enjoyed the house and waterfront. The driveway was definitely steep but we never had any issues even with a Toyota Prius. Our kids loved the floating raft and spent many hours in the water. It was also so nice to be on a quiet secluded section of the road, it all felt very private. The owner was really helpful and available. Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our week at the cottage for the 4th of July. It was incredible to see multiple fireworks displays over the lake while sitting around the fire pit. The kids spent a lot of time in the water. We rented a boat for the week from East Bluff Marina, which was a fantastic addition to the experience. The only issue we had during our stay was a septic smell in the side yard which we communicated to the owner. She let us know that this could be remedied by less use of the system and encouraged using the outdoor shower, which we started doing more. I had worried that not having a dishwasher would be an issue given the size of our group (6 adults, 5 kids), but it was fine and we enjoyed having paper plates for kindling each evening. We boated over to the Switzerland Inn for dinner one night, which was surprisingly quick. Overall, a great stay at a very picturesque spot!

A group of college friends have been going to the Finger Lakes for several years and always stay in different properties. We had a great trip and highly recommend this property. Just remember to bring sheets and towels as some of us didn't read this in the description. While we usually pick a new property every year, we would be tempted to return in 2022. Thanks

The house was adorable, clean and exactly as the photos showed. Listening to the night sounds and the lake, I felt at home with nature and the world! I am already looking forward to my next stay!

The outdoor area was great but the house was not in good condition and the pictures made it look much better than it was. As per the listing, there is no dishwasher, washer/dryer, or air conditioner. The driveway is down a one lane dirt road with a Scary steep driveway that requires four wheel drive and a bit of courage. Centipedes would enter the house every night once it got dark but luckily stayed on the main floor although one bedroom was unusable because of tiny flies that came down from the ceiling and fell onto the bed. Anastatia was great about communicating and the lake front was awesome which made up for a lot.

Enjoyed our stay. Adequate bedroom space for all (9 people). Kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans. The two family rooms were large enough for us to use, especially for the one rainy day we had. Overall an enjoyable vacation stay.

My work family spent the weekend. We had a wonderful time sitting around the fire and enjoying the amazing views and location on the lake. You are RIGHT on the water. We cooked in and the kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. The house is a little more rustic than I was expecting from the pictures but still lovely. Thank you for sharing your home.

This was my family's first visit to Keuka Lake. We had an amazing time! The house was well-kept and clean and gave us plenty of space to relax. The location on the water was unbelievable! We only came for the weekend but wished we could stay longer. We really enjoyed the Windmill craft market, especially the kettle corn.

Enjoyed out time here immensely. The host was very accommodating and easy to work with The house was clean and well-arranged. The water was perfect! The weather was warmer than we had planned and but the house had fans and the weather made us appreciate the lake even more. Thanks for having us!

The memories created by our family at this lake house are ones that will be cherished for the rest of our lives. We loved that this home is directly on the water and at the end of the bluffs. Our father loved the bluff area. He viewed the bluffs as a retreat from the hustle and bustle of working on the dairy farm we owned in Benton Center. My three siblings, niece, sister-in-law and I returned to the area to honor him and our mother. All of us are so glad we chose this home as our "home away from home."Mornings filled with the symphony created from the combination of the sound of the water and the songs from the birds set the perfect tone for the day. One of true tranquility. Then evenings filled with skipping stones and roasting marshmallows to make S'mores and S'moreos (thank you Anatasia for teaching us about S'moreos) were the ideal way to spend quality time together. While our family is close, we all left with a better connection to one another.

Private and roomy. Check out the fishing. The water is so clear you can see prized bass from the dock. Really great area to snorkel with the kids as well.
