Located in North Tampa, a world away, yet convenient to everything Tampa Bay has to offer. Beautiful Old Florida Lake House - Enjoy the real Florida - 30 minutes from downtown Tampa, 20 minutes north of Tampa International Airport, 45 minutes to pristine beaches or inland rivers. Relax by the lake or explore nearby Tampa attractions - Busch Gardens, Florida Aquarium, Adventure Island, USF, University of Tampa, Ybor City, the Straz Center, Lowry Park Zoo, The Florida Aquarium, Amalie Arena - all less than 30 minutes. 45 minutes to downtown St. Petersburg. I am happy to make recommendations for just about any outdoor adventure - kayaking rivers or to islands, sailing, hiking. The suite includes two rooms, one with a queen bed and the second small room as a sitting room. Please note that the guest bedroom and bathroom share a common wall/door with host's residence. Lots of natural light, painted concrete floors with area rugs. The two room suite offers a private bathroom with large walk in shower and outdoor private patio overlooking the wooded conservation area. Private access to bedroom (14' x 10'), adjacent sitting room (11' x 7') & bathroom. Shared enjoyment of the lakeside deck, kayaks & grounds. Enjoy the beauty of natural Florida under the cool shade of the Cypress Trees with the convenience of easy access to downtown Tampa, the Tampa International Airport, Ybor City, Amalie Arena, Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, USF, University of Tampa, Lowry Park Zoo, The Florida Aquarium, the Straz Center, Carrolwood, Tarpon Springs & Gulf Beaches. Enjoy amenities such as kayaks, canoes, swimming & sunning lakeside, picnicking & grilling. Shopping and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Safe, quiet roads for walking or jogging.

Judy was very informative about the property and all of the information that we would need she provided information about restaurants that were close by and overall the property is absolutely stunning and gorgeous. There's even a property cat named Eleanor that we absolutely loved cuz we're cat people but the property is really nice and it's very quiet and peaceful we absolutely adored the time that we had there and we would definitely go back

This is a beautiful serene location. Judi was a wonderful host. We really enjoyed the opportunity to use her kayaks on the lake. We also tried the hammock and relaxing by the water on the deck.

My husband and I stayed four days at the Cosy Lakehouse Suite. Judith was a great host. She was there to meet us when we arrived, showed us around the gorgeous grounds and our suite and made sure we felt comfortable. There were so many thoughtful touches in the suite, from posh shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided in the shower to bananas and oranges in the kitchen. The property itself is gorgeous, especially the walk to the lakefront, which is lit after dusk and is absolutely magical. We spent lots of time relaxing on the lakeside deck and enjoyed the firepit one evening. Also kayaked on the lake which was like glass first thing in the morning. This place is one-of-a-kind, it deserves a 10 star rating!

Nice lakeside apartment, perfect size for 2-3 people. The apartment is stocked with coffee and snacks. Very comfortable. It was too cold for the lakeside which is what attracted me in the first place. Maybe next time.

In search of a post hurricane getaway, I logged into VRBO and once I saw the property I couldn’t sign up fast enough! The pictures represent the property very well however when I arrived I couldn’t believe how stunningly beautiful it is in reality. A well maintained landscape with towering cypress, bamboo and fruit trees make a picture frame for the lovely house set in the middle of the estate.The owner greeted me upon arrival and took me on a tour of the grounds, outdoor amenities and the lakeside deck. She invited me to use the kayaks, fire pits and gas grill. The suite itself has an ample living area equipped with a fully smart TV, with Roku. There is a mini fridge, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave, etc. There was definitely a sense that nothing was missed. The adjoining bathroom has a great and spacious tile shower, with all self-care and toiletries thoughtfully curated. The jungle walk to the lakeside was illuminated with brilliant incandescent string lights that gave the entire property an added charm. I enjoyed the hammock as the sun and moon traded shifts and shone off the calm mirror of the lake. Great horned owls and sandhill cranes called out along the banks. After enjoying this serenity, I took a drive in search of some good eats and was glad to find many options nearby. Upon retiring for the night, the bedroom was notably thoughtfully curated, free from any outside noise or carryover from adjacent rooms. As I lay encased in the softest sheets and most comfortable of beds I thought that out of all of my travels and stays at various VRBO properties, this one stands out for its artistic charm, its natural and soothing character executed perfectly by a host that cares more for comfort for her guests than just making a booking. This trip was nothing short of enchanting!

The stunning lake location amid lush vegetation combined with the well designed, ample suite made me wish I could stay longer! My favorite property to date and I can’t wait to return!

Sitting at the lake you'd never suspect that you were so close to every convenience! The property is clean, neat and just as described. Judi is a truly excellent host! She made me feel very welcome from our first communication to our last. If you need a place to stay (but don't need a full kitchen) this is an excellent choice! There is a microwave, small coffee pot and plenty of thoughtful amenities. The bed is very comfortable, and the shower is excellent. A stroll down to the lake will have you feeling like you've escaped it all!

I needed a place to get away and relax, and that is exactly what I got. The lake house was absolutely beautiful, and serene! The room was so comforting and felt like home. The outside just as wonderful! Judi was an amazing hostess, and I would definitely come back for another stay.

We were happy to meet you Judi and stay at your lovely property, that looked even better in person. ; ) The lake & tree view was very relaxing and made us feel right at home. The breezy canoe ride and lounging on the deck was just what we needed. Thank you for all your hospitality and special touches in the cozy cottage as well! The local dining spots that added to our wonderful stay, were, Esposito's Italian Restaurant, Glory Days Grill and Korean Hot Pot BBQ. We'd recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet, clean and cozy get-away!

This stay exceeded our expectations. The property was gorgeous, exactly like the pictures and the host was the sweetest! Perfect mini get away for a relaxing weekend. Had the added advantage of being close to Busch gardens for a day of thrill seeking. Will be visiting again!

The home owner wanted to charge me extra on the side after we had agreed terms in our messages. I was blackmailed and basically forced to leave the property and had to open a case with VrBO.
