(The hot tub will not be open for this stay). Timber Hill offers a boutique concept to a mountain holiday. A lake front cabin selectively decorated for comfort and relaxation, thoughtfully appointed to satisfy the discerning guest. Enjoy the peace, solitude, unsurpassed views, mountain air and cool lake breezes. Nestled on 4 acres with a long private driveway, off a wooded lane, Timber Hill offers one of the most beautiful and alluring views of the lake. Soft rustic hues and Adirondack accents, cottony flannels and deep comfortable sofas will offer all the comforts of home. Fully furnished for true comfort and enjoyment, Timber Hill is located north of the town bridge on the east shore, perfect for daytime sunshine and viewing the setting sun over the scenic mountaintops. A boat dock, swim raft, and rowboat are provided on the 180 foot shoreline. A large fire-pit and lean to overlook the lake for evening campfires, and hot tub invites all for relaxing warmth. Inside you will find three floors of truly inviting living space including an upper loft and master suite with a king size bed and private bath. Main floor has two large bedrooms with queen size beds and shared bathroom. The main level is an open floor plan with living, dining, kitchen and separate large screen porch that faces the lake. The elevated upper deck offers amazing views and evening dining splendor. The lower level includes a pool table, 60" LG Smart HDTV, a large comfortable sectional, and walks out to another full deck, outdoor shower, and the hot tub. Linens, blankets, pillows and towels are provided.

I stayed at this gorgeous property with three of my oldest friends from childhood, and it was perfect. Lovely cabin, lovely view, and great location with proximity to several beautiful mountains. Appreciated that it was dog friendly for my little old lady, too. The owner was responsive and kind as well.

Can’t say enough great things about Timber Hill. Based on the pics and other reviews were we very excited. Once we arrived we quickly saw that our expectations were completely met.
Great property right on the lake. Great house with all the amenities. Great interaction with the owner.

My and my girlfriend stayed here for 5 days. It was our first time ever renting a VRBO and we couldn’t have asked for a better time and overall experience. Not only was the house just as perfect as we thought but the surrounding area was covered in beautiful colors of trees and made the entire vacation a surreal dream.

This home was one of the best I've rented. The owner, Amy, was very kind and attentive to my inquiries. She thought of everything for a spectacular getaway on the lake. The kitchen is fully stocked, the bedrooms and bedding are so comfortable. There are rain showers in each bathroom, which we all raved about! Everything is top of the line. We enjoyed the lake, the fire pit, and grilling on the deck. The hot tub was an extra bonus though sadly we didn't get a chance to use it. Three days was definitely not enough. Will certainly return for a longer stay. Rent this home. You will not regret it!

Our time at Timber Hill was wonderful. The house was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable; and most important to us, dog friendly. The lake was perfect. We enjoyed each day swimming and relaxing on the dock.

This glamorous home with the perfect Adirondack lakeside outdoor amenities, soothing views and Amy, the property owner, were absolutely marvellous! Our vacation with our two dogs was more than what I had dreamed. We felt absolutely comfortable due to the Amy's warm welcoming. Amy's generous accomodation's for our planned activities and continued communications were beyond our expectations and deeply appreciated. We will be planning our next adventure to this home next summer, for sure!!

We loved our stay! It was just me, my husband, and our dog visiting for a quiet New Years weekend. The property is beautiful in the winter. I can only imagine how fun it is in warmer months.
The house was even better and cozier than the pictures show. Amy was super fast to answer any questions we had about the house.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend in Long Lake! The hot tub was a highlight, a close second only to the amazing views and beautiful home. The layout of the house suited us perfectly. Tips for future renters: Extensive cleaning at the end of your stay is expected, garbage/recyclables must be removed from the house and brought to the transfer station, which is close by. This extends and potentially takes away from the relaxation of your vacation (it was a short trip, so we found it cumbersome). However, this home and its amenities are worth the extra effort. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

This was our third stay at Timber Hill, and as always, the property is beautiful, the amenities are outstanding, and the view can't be beat. The house is perfect for a couple as well as a family vacation spot. Amy is a great host with excellent communication. Thanks again for another wonderful stay!

What a wonderful place to go for a mountain get away! The property was gorgeous - the view is breathtaking! Amy has thought of everything within the home, and was such a wonderful host. Easy to communicate with, and allowed us to have an early check in. The house is even better in person than it is in the pictures - if you’re looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place for you.

The property was beautiful. The snow that fell was beautiful as well, but caused some slick roads. Amy was great in assisting us when our truck was stuck on the side of the road and checked in to make sure we got out safely. Would highly recommend, and hope to return!

We came to the lakeside cabin to do some winter hiking and to have a winter long weekend away. While the property offers a lot of things to do in warmer weather, it was also very cozy and perfect for a winter getaway. Through no fault of the owners, the area experienced several power outages due to weather that was occurring across the state. The cabin, which is a lot more luxurious than that name implies, had a wonderful wood-burning stove that gave plenty of heat and light. There were an ample amount of candles around that created a wonderful, romantic atmosphere as well. The owners were very communicative about the power status and helpful, throughout the weekend. We loved our stay, and would love to return in the future. Our advice is to book, no matter the time of year. You won't regret it!

Paul and Amy have a beautiful home with all we needed to spend precious time with family & friends over the Thanksgiving weekend. Everything was well maintained and appointed. The big, open spaces (both inside & out) were perfect to spend time eating, playing and laughing (the pool table was used A LOT!) The bedrooms were comfy & spacious and the bathrooms were lovely. The hot tub was delightful as the snow was falling. And our dogs loved it all too! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful trip. It was nice to have a place to relax, shoot pool and throw darts . Lots of places to hike near by. The boys loved watching the snow fall while relaxing in the hot tub.

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing getaway and this was the perfect place for it. When we walked in we were greeted with a meticulous home that is even more beautiful in person! The views of the lake are amazing and what better way to relax than enjoying evenings out in the hot tub! We also enjoyed sitting by their new fire pit. The house had everything we needed, with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, pool table, dart board, plenty of games and movies. They even had dog bowls which came in handy as we forgot to pack ours. Amy was a wonderful host and easy to communicate with. This home is now our favorite place to stay. The amenities seem endless. Amy has thought of everything to make this a one of a kind vacation spot. We didn’t want to leave. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place to get away from it all, we highly recommend this perfect escape at the lake. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed 5 nights at Amy and Paul's house - the first 2 nights with friends and then the other 3 just my husband and I. We had beautiful weather for leaf peeping! The home is extremely clean and comfortable. Amy has thought of everything. We especially enjoyed the new fire pit area they are working on. Hot tub was nice after a day out hiking. The downstairs family room, newly redone, is amazing. Amy was very easy to communicate with and is a wonderful host. They even took us out on their boat for a last ride before taking it out for the winter. It was such a lovely evening! We brought our own kayaks but they also rent kayaks a short distance away as well. In addition, we brought a small electric motor with us so the guys could take the rowboat out to fish (didn't catch much though). Long Lake is beautiful and so peaceful. We loved our trip and have already booked again for next year! Thank you, again, Amy and Paul!!

Fantastic! This house was better in person than it was in pictures. I found this house to be more comfortable and well stocked than other vacation rentals we have been to. We were out exploring most of the day and spent our evenings relaxing at the house. It is fully equipped to keep you entertained if the weather is off including a pool table, dart board, games, puzzles, a hot tub and a comfy lounge. The dock was perfect to launch our kayaks at for our morning paddles on the lake. The neighborhood is very quiet and you are far enough away from other homes so you can enjoy a private vacation. I would caution that there is additional cleaning involved during check out. As it was just my husband, myself and our dog, it wasn’t much of an issue but I can see it may be tough if you had the house full of guests. I do wish we had an additional week here. Perfect place to relax and unwind.

This property is amazing! The house is kept in great shape and the dock is in deep enough water to dock your own boat. The hot tub and pool table are great additions for relaxing after a long day on the water. The property owner was responsive for any questions regarding the property. I will definitely be a return renter.

The stay here was lovely!! Great house, beautiful setting. The house is well-equipped and has lots of amenities. The beds were super comfortable and there was lots of space to enjoy. The basement area provided entertainment as well and we loved having the extra fridge downstairs. Great place to unwind and be one with the ADK.

Beautiful property, just a perfect week. There is nothing that wanting in the house. The beds are so comfortable. Nothing but peace and quiet. So easy to cook, do laundry, the dock made swimming very easy and it gets good sun!

Amy's house is gorgeous and just as advertised, or even better! The kitchen is very well stocked with outstanding appliances. The bathrooms are beautifully redone and have outstanding water pressure. The beds are beyond comfortable and made up with soft flannel sheets for the cold weather and the warmest, fluffiest down comforters ever! We absolutely loved the wood burning stove and had it going every day. The views were gorgeous, the added amenities like a pool table, darts board, games, smart TV, made the stay that much more fun. Amy went above and beyond, even bringing us a few grocery essentials when we got snowed in for a few days! We hope to be back some day!!! Perfect pandemic vacation!!!

The property was clean and well appointed. The cabin was as nice as pictured and did not disappoint. The hot tub was enjoyed on a cool evening. Only drawback is a smaller water heater, so be carefull if you have multiple guests wishing to shower.

Beautiful home with fantastic scenery! Home was very comfortable with many amenities. It was nice to have the game room on a rainy day. Hot tub was clean and wonderful on a cool morning. Fortunately there was a large grill as the oven was not working. The owner informed us of this issue ahead of time. Just be prepared to bring or buy extra toilet paper and other paper products as a limited amount is supplied. Also, even though a cleaning fee is charged renters are required to wash and dry linens and complete other cleaning before checking out. This made for a less relaxing last morning. Overall it's a great house with a great location.

The property is better than listed and the amount of details provided within house was great. This went from the throw blankets to the Adirondack decor in the house. The beautiful deck and views of the lake and mountains were splendid. The dock was great to sit on and read and what ducks, loons, and people pass by. The hot tub was great: clean, just the right temperture, and easy to use. The kitchen was fully stocked with equipment, including a bag of ice when we arrived. Bed was very comfortable. In addition, many hiking trails close by for every level. It was an excellent trip which provide the rest we needed. Would recommend for anyone.
