Welcome to our new place in the sun, the South West Florida sun that is. The villa has 4 double bedrooms and so sleeps 8. It is situated on the narrow Fort Myers Beach (FMB) island and, being on the Gulf of Mexico side of Florida and with FMB being reasonably sheltered and shallow, the sea really is warm. In the hotter months of July and August it is almost like getting into a bath, beating even the Caribbean. The villa is located on a no-through street in a quiet neighborhood. To get to the beach is an 7 minute saunter down to the end of the road and to Estero Boulevard. There you will find a beach-side bar & restaurant "Junkanoo on the Beach" (great deck giving right onto the beach, excellent fajitas!) or upstairs a slightly more upmarket seafood restaurant the "Fresh Catch Bistro" with stunning views over the sea and beach and for sunsets. The public beach access is just to the left of these restaurants (see photos). All the beach / sunset photos on this site are taken from the beach at this point directly across the road. We love the beach just here, there are no large hotels nearby and we have never had a case where we couldn't pick the spot we wanted to camp up for the day. For the beach we are all prepared for you – there are beach chairs, umbrellas, mats, floats and a small caddie for you to transport it all. There are also bicycles as this is a lovely way to see the island. If you prefer to relax by a pool, one of the main features of the villa is its private 33 foot infinity edge, south-facing swimming pool. This is at the rear of the property and gives onto the canal providing, all in all, a very secluded private area where you can really enjoy the outdoor Florida lifestyle. We have everything you need for the pool and deck with proper pool loungers, floats and pool toys for the kids. The pool itself has a shallow end of 3’6” increasing to around 4’6” at about two thirds along the pool. This is for relaxing and playing in but the pool does also have a proper deep end and is big enough to do laps in. At the shallow end there is a full width bench seat with 3 water jets which you can adjust to gently massage your lower back as you relax in the pool with a drink. At night the pool is equipped with multifunction underwater lighting which you can set to your taste for your night time dips. If you hear a large splash from the canal it is NOT (as we first thought) one of the neighbors who has fallen in, but a dolphin. They regularly chase down fish into the canal at the front of the pool and they can get quite animated when they pounce on the cornered fish. If you miss them when they arrive, they HAVE to come back past to get back to the sea, usually around 10 minutes later – great photo opportunity. Fort Myers Beach is a friendly laid-back area with all the usual Florida attractions. The villa itself is walking distance from restaurants, a 7/11 convenience store, church, children's playground, park, recreation center and more. You will also find LOTS more useful information on the villa and surrounding area in the reviews that previous guests have been kind enough to leave. Alternatively you can go to holidaylettings co uk and search for Home ID 495518 for the same information. The house is equipped with Wifi which works inside or outside the villa and has been upgraded for e.g. multiple zoom calls if you are on a working holiday. There is also a telephone which you can use to call anywhere in the States and Canada. This saves a lot on roaming bills when calling restaurants / golf courses etc. During your stay, friends and family can call you on this number from anywhere worldwide. No Smoking inside the villa please.

Had a wonderful time. the place was easy to get to quiet and relaxing. All of us had a good time.
There are a few things that need addressed.
The only reason for the 4 stars on accuracy is the pool and the channel behind the property. the pool was super cold and not heated like we would have liked. We are from Indiana so it's cold and the pool was cold enough the kids didn't swim much and me and the wife tried it but that was a no go. LOL
The Kayak would have been fun but there was no way to get to the water so that was not going to happen as well.

Really great house for our family of 6. Good size, good facilities, really great pool. And having dolphins swim past every morning and iguanas in the garden was just a massive added bonus.
Jon is a friendly, very helpful host. Gave us a very comprehensive welcome pack, checked everything was ok while we were there, and even helped find a soft toy my daughter left behind!
Definitely recommend this house and host.

This property had everything my family needled. My grandson was so happy every day. Even though the area still has a lot of work to go for complete recovery my family would have spent every day in the pool or fishing off the deck.

My family and I were long overdue for a relaxing “chill” vacation. The home was perfect! We loved the infinity pool overlooking the canal. There were lots of floats and toys for the pool there. For the beach day the beach was a close distance, it could be walkable but the Florida heat coerced us into driving. Easy place to park and get to beach. Another great perk was there were at least 4 umbrellas and a chair for all of us! Ft. Myers is coming back, it felt good to play a small part in stimulating their small businesses.

Property was prefect for our 2 families of 4. Pool was an awesome feature. Beach wasn't too far away and was beautiful. Area is still in the recovery process from the hurricane. Many businesses have reopened in some form and could use the support of tourism. If you're looking to enjoy a relaxing experience at a normally busy location now is the time

We had a wonderful stay. The place was nice and the owners communication was exemplary. Had a few Dolphin visits that the kids absolutely loved. We also opted to rent a boat and I drive it up through the channel and picked everyone up right from the back yard. A few little things like that really made this place a very nice pick. We also loved the pool!

We were very impressed with the home. All the listing was accurate, pictures don't do justice for the home, and Jon was amazing with communication. There were 5 adults and 2 kids staying and we all loved the home and had plenty of room. Quick 7 minute walk to the beach, the pool was fantastic, and we even saw a baby shark in the canal. The home was clean and had everything that would be needed for a week stay including pool&bath towels, extra bedding, basic spices/seasonings, all cooking items, coffee maker, etc. Jon was very easy to communicate with via email, checked that we got checked in ok, and stayed in consistent contact during the week. Definitely try out Mom's Kitchen for breakfast while staying, the food was amazing. Same with Coconut Jacks in Bonita Springs, absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back!

Everything was great, we saw dolphins and caught fish at the house! Very close and easy walk to the beach. The pool is fantastic and lots of kids toys for the pool and the beach at the house. Jon was great with communication and a great host. We will be staying here again in the future.

This was a wonderful place to stay! Short commute to the beach and included beach towels. The house had plenty of towels with washing machine with detergent included. Coffee, paper towels, toilet paper, seasonings, oil and misc other items that I almost never find at other rentals was included!! These items helped jump start our vacation like never before! Will be renting this place again!

We rented a boat, went parasailing, went to the beach, swam, fished, and even did a day trip to the Everglades. Our kids were very entertained at the house and we had to drag them out of the pool every night. This will go down as one of our best vacations ever and hopefully we will be able to make it back soon!

We had to make a change to our travel plans at the last minute (who hasn't recently). Jon and Tracy, our hosts, moved Heaven and Earth to get us to Ft. Myers, and made arrangements for us to get to his home off hours. And we are so glad they did! The house is beautiful, clean, stocked with anything you might need for a beach visit, sits close enough to walk to the beach yet sits in a very quiet neighborhood. And then there is the infinity pool which sits just off a canal (we saw a manatee and had multiple pelican dives just off of the dock). And if iguanas are your thing, there are some of those too. The house and pool are so nice, we spent quite a bit of time staying to just enjoy the property. We're already checking our calendar to schedule a return visit. Loved it.

Thanks to Jon, our yearly girls trip was a huge success. We go to Ft. Myers Beach every year and this was yet another wonderful place to stay. Communication was excellent and the house had all the amenities needed. The infinity pool set this home over the top. Highly recommend.

Our family had an absolute wonderful time! The home was amazing. Perfect location, it was very peacful, a quiet neighborhood, and its only a 5 minute walk to the beach( or 3 minute bike that they supply) We LOVED the pool it was so relaxing and we were lucky enough to see a few dolphins off of the deck. Jon was so accommodating, communication was fast and prompt. Jon sends out all the info you need for the rental and fun things to do in the area! When I say this home has everything you need.. Hands down it does!! I definitely recommend this Villa and would return!! The Kaufman's

First and foremost Mr. Noble is amazing. He is the most accommodating host my family has dealt with. His property is so great I don’t know where to start:) The house was clean, comfortable and felt like home. The family loved it. The infinity pool is the icing on the cake. The location is perfect. The fishing off the back dock was awesome - snook, stingray, pin fish, mangrove snapper and reds. Plenty of towels and other household items. Nice outside grill. Plenty of outside seating and tables. I think there are 6 bicycles the kids used daily. There were daily visits from dolphins and manatees in the canal. We rented a sea pontoon boat from Salty Sam’s and explored/fished Estero Bay, Sanibel and the Gulf.

Family vacation in Fort Myers Florida was a success! From the moment I booked the vacation I had information from the owner Jon. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed while enjoying our vacation. The home was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. The neighborhood is perfect for families and the neighbors were so friendly. The location was on point. My boys were fishing from the dock daily and even caught a glimpse of the dolphins. My favorite was the pool.... even better in person than the pictures.
I had read all the reviews from previous guests and definitely agree that the home is amazing, Jon was wonderful and accommodating. We enjoyed Fort Myers to the fullest and would love to return in the future.

We booked this property for our annual family vacation. And it was definitely worth it. It was my boyfriend and I and our 7 children. Our kids range from 2-18. They has an absolute blast. We had everything we needed. We were just a mile walk from Times Square. But even better Jon had bikes for every one of us, so we got to ride those everywhere we went. We rarely drive while we were there. Anything we needed Jon responded almost instantly. We will definitely be recommending this property and booking it again!!

There were 8 of us and there was plenty of room for us all. The house was just as expected from the pictures. It was a great stay. We loved the pool and spent a lot of time there. We saw dolphins and manatee from the deck. Communication was fast and easy. About a 1/3 mile walk to the beach. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Only thing I would change would be to make it a keyless entry so you don’t have to pick up and drop off the keys. Overall it was a great experience and would stay here again in an instant.

This was a great house to stay in for the 6 of us. The pool was awesome, and it was a 5 minute walk to the beach. The owner was very quick with answers and help even being in another country. The one thing that could improve would be the mattresses. They were a but to hard.
