Pros…This cabin was beautiful on a beautiful piece of property! The grassy area in the back was fun to play games on in the evening after a full day on the water. The kitchen was nice and spacious for feeding large groups. Lots of bedrooms and entertainment. Over all the cabin was great! The beach this year was marshy because of the high water, but we went a little south and had plenty of sandy beach to play on! Cons…There are A LOT of rules and a helicopter host. While we understand its a lot to rent these big houses it was just too much. We didn’t expect the pettiness of beach front property owners. As mentioned above we had to go south for sandy beach, not far, but because it wasn’t the beach right in front of our cabin we had other property owners approach us. I think many forget they don’t own the beach/lake, and they are very concerned with property lines. Just something to be aware of.

Great home. Very large and accommodated our group of 40 nicely. Beach access was about half a mile from the house which was nice. Fun movie room and pool table. One oven was out of order which made cooking for our large group hard. We may have adjusted plans had we known. Some toilets were quite dirty upon arrival. We found the list of rules to be a little unusual. Joyce was very friendly and called a couple times to make sure we were following the rules. A lot of cleaning required before checkout and significant cleaning fees was charged. Overall we liked the house though. Plenty of parking and good size home for our group.

Our overall stay was very enjoyable! Having read past reviews we were somewhat skeptical. However, those worries were quickly diminished. First, one review stated that they could not adjust the thermostat. It is true that it is pegged at a specific temperature, but it can be adjusted down for two hours. After that, it goes back up to the specified temperature. Slightly inconvenient, but it only takes a split second to adjust the temperature down every two hours. Not bad. Another review talked about the lake and how the entrance to it was marshy/swampy. We lucked out because the lake was super low - causing a private beach for our group. It was phenomenal! However, if Bear Lake does rise, the lake access will be marshy and not really an ideal place to hangout. One thing we really enjoyed was the sitting space for meals. There is so much room! It was awesome to be able to fit the whole family around and eat at the same time rather than in shifts. For us, our only issue was this - the cabin doesn't really work all too well for 40 individuals for sleeping. We maxed out the amount of people there with the 40. I personally don't think the listing should state 22 beds and sleeps 40. 8 of the "beds" are pads that they suggest kids can sleep on. This means 14 actual beds (2 people per bed) for 28 people and 8 pads for 8 people leaving 4 people to sleep on the floor or the couch. I was not too thrilled with that because I was one who went without a bed. In addition, you are charged extra if you have more than 36 sleeping over which, in my opinion, should not be an extra charge if it is advertised as sleeping 40 individuals. All in all, our stay was grand. We really enjoyed the location, the private beach access, and the huge eating space. I think we'd possibly do it again, but we'd be more prepared and bring 4 cots or something to mitigate the sleeping issue.

Located on the lake but not a beachfront. Layout was very nice. Activities on the property were great. Kitchen was ok,but some items are aging or missing, like crockpot lids. The whole place needs a good spring cleaning. Despite that we had fun.

Beautiful Cabin on a beautiful property! But we were disappointed with a few things. It’s was frustrating to find that our beach access was a marshy entrance to the water, with no beach. We understand the water is high but it definitely affected our plans for choosing this cabin and spending time in the water. Also, there is a media room but you can’t hook up anything and the internet is way to slow to stream shows so you need to plan on bringing your own movies on dvd (which we didn’t know). And then, you aren’t allowed to adjust the thermostat and it was very warm in the cabin, even with fans and windows open (because not all the windows open). We had 34 people and it was very uncomfortable at times with the warm temps. There are A LOT of rules, so be prepared. The property manager is very nice but very involved. And you have to do quite a bit of cleanup before you checkout, including washing sheets. Kids enjoyed the playset and pingpong (we never found the volleyball or horseshoes). Overall, the layout of the cabin is awesome and great for large groups with lots of beds and bathrooms. The view is gorgeous!
